Then she went over to sit at a table adjecent to Astraea's special spot. "Yeah. They are in the fridge at the mansion. We had a big dinner the other night. We've had a few new people in town, and you know how I am. I have them all over to eat all the time. sweatdrop Speaking of that... It's been a while since Kaze was about. I wonder if he is still in town. I wonder if it'd be rude to ask him.... " Grace stops talking about it outloud because she tries to not talk about it out loud too often. She doesn't want everyone to feel overly concerned with it.
"Astraea, hun," Grace goes over to sit near her so she can speak more softly and direct to her. "Before you were born, and before I had taken in kain and crono... me and your dad had another baby. But, back then we were dirt poor. Neither me nor my siblings had received any kind of inheritance yet. so we put him up for adoption, and we lost contact with the adoptive parents. But, just recently, a young man came to town looking for his birth parents. He just happens to be about the right age. I have been suspecting him to be that child we gave away. I want to mention it to him so much.. I haven't told your dad yet. I haven't really told everyone. I mean.. the whole family has pretty much met this guy since he has had a few meals at our home. But, I haven't told everyone about our child we gave away."

Then, she gracefully acknowledged Astraea's excusing herself and watched her daughter leave. She wasn't sure how long she'd be gone this time, but it sure was nice to catch up with her.
Grace went over to the kitchen to have a snack... being some doughnuts and a milkshake.

Looks up at Jon almost bashfully. "Well, they are not all of ours as far as blood and whatnot. Only like.. five or six i think are our offspring. But, most I adopted. When we inherited the Taquito empire in pieces in a little over a year... I got all overstimulated and went back to barton town and had adopted a lot of poor young gaians. Most of them have left over the years. I have been meaning to edit information on who all are still my legal youngings. And.. Astraea is almost an adult too.
Let's see... for my real children... there's...
Astraea, kiki, mimi, jeremy [who elected to go to a special boarding school for boys] and possibly now KazeSin. Kain and Crono were never really our biological offspring. When I first had my coffee shop in a town called Alent, there was a lot of war and fighting breaking out there which was when we moved to the Gambino district. Before I left town, their mother found me and asked me to take them because she thought they were dying. I told them the truth this year because I found out that their real mother may still be alive somewhere. They have left the family to go out finding her. They come back sometimes to visit us. And, they will always be considered a part of our family. Because in some cases, the love that binds people is greater than just our genetics."
She took a big drink of her milkshake then cuz she was pretty sure she said a mouthful.
