Lillian Ashe It appears the 'zine is no longer the novelty it once was. The submissions thread is dying, and I am afraid to revive it too many times. man, this must just be an off month...but don't we at least have some awesome stuff left over from last month's submissions?

Is it saying that marriage is not about [insert all the things]?

My vacation has been overly long and not too productive.
And note, this is not the worst 'dead month' that we've suffered. I think we're really well off, as a matter of fact. We have submissions, we keep gaining fans, etc.
*yawn* Okay, I'm going to stop procrastinating now.
EDIT: I guess it's my fault that there's no Neighborhood Watch. I can do that later.

I knew there was something that I was forgetting about: The Watch. There's always the release of cards, the Bank being able to trade game-items, and the Art Arena.

That should do well. 3nodding
What's this? No columns! confused What is the Gaian Press wihtout our esteemed columnists?
Rushifa: Which review would you like to use this month?
-Note to self: Find more reviewers, or start writing some myself.
Deab: How about that Staff Spolight idea I mentioned? We can do it this month. Present the comic clip you showed us not long ago, then talk about yourself; how long you've been with us, what you like to do, your outside writing experience, etc. Things like that. ^^
Oh yes, and unfortunately there won't be a Badger Brigade this go around. We'll publish the next chapter when it comes out.

It's the twenty-fifth, so I'll be cutting off submissions. That all right with you, Serieve? On another note, she really shouldn't be allowed to get bored. See?

Yeah, that's okay. I have yet to begin looking for pieces to put into the issue, but both the archive and indexes are updated, and the draft is pretty well laid out.
I'll do the Poetry and Prose work tomorrow, so we can start voting, then wait for the rest of it. Columnists, the Watch, and the possible Staff Spotlight.

Submissions have officially been declared closed for the month. Now I must get to bed; my mother gets rather annoyed when I stay up until midnight, especially as we have church tomorrow. I'll check in tomorrow to see what still needs doing.

I'm still working. But I haven't got anything done on the draft.
I have, however, organized the Mounds and the Oasis, and put all of this month's submissions in the right place. In fact, I even added to the first post of the Mounds. You can now find the actual critiques of the pieces listed in red.
And the index of columns has been changed. Now they are listed under the names of the columns instead of each issue.
One of these days I'll tackle the Archive. stare
There are some good pieces in the Mounds that deserve to be looked at, by the way. I feel bad about leaving them there another month.
New Policy for the Mounds: if it's not even close to being worthy of publishing, delete it. Otherwise, critique it.
