Dragonball really put me off cuz Goku was WHITE. Not being racist at all but seriously?? He's supposed to be CHINESE!!!

Avatar put me off as well because all the characters were white...I understand about Katara and Sokka but Zuko??

I thought Zuko's mother was still alive? Then again, it really doesn't make sense how his mother doesn't try to enter fire nation to find his son.

Shamalama-sama-san killed that series... it was beautiful, till he was all "lol, everyone's white and the show sucks"....but hey, did you guys here about the legend of kora coming out this fall i believe?

and no...balls wont cheer me up.... xd
yeah, I've never seen the movie either, and I refused to when I saw his cast.

**hands snuff a flower** >.> Flowers then. And what's the Legend of Kora?

Its a 1 season spin off of avatar...the new avatar after aang is the character... he's mastered fire, water, and earth bending, and seeks the help of Aang and katara's kid to teach him air bending. His mission is to stop an anti-bender movement....it's supposed to be darker than the first series, but still promises a good laugh...

i hope it doesnt suck

and zuko's mom was killed... he'd never be reunited....
I'm pretty sure she was still alive. I could have sworn that was what the series said at the last season.

no...it was in that flashback episode...
when Iroh's son was killed, Ozai asked his father to make him firelord instead of Iroh. His father was enraged at this insult to Iroh, and said "you will feel the pain of losing a son"....
Zuko was to be killed, but his mother took his place
Yeah but that was a lie. They just banished her. All the time Zuko thought his mother had been killed when in actuality they just banished her. http://avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Ursa

Katara and Sokka being white was an outrage. If characters are dark skinned in a show, they need to stay that way in the movie. Same thing with Goku being transformed from an a** kicking Chinese looking guy into a homo-erotic whiny little white kid who gets pushed around in high school. It's just not cool.

@Snuff - Actually I thought Toph and Zuko would have been a cute couple.

Yeah I know. I was all like Ooo! New possibility! Will Toph and Zuko be together? And then the end happens and it's like "Awe....damn...No...No it's not..."

My favorite chick was the one who does the dim mak style. She was awesome. And the whole reason why I think it kicks a**.

Ty Lee? the really bubbly one?
Honestly, I think she's totally into chicks...though she seemed into Sokka
I was expecting an odd triangle between her, mai and zuko.

You do realize that Akira was turned into a musical right? >.> It can't get worse than that.

@Snuff - Yeah her! XD I thought she was awesome. You could probably beat her a** and she'd still be smiling and bubbly. Zuko's sister was just insane...Just straight up insane. I had a crush on Ozai though, but because that is what I would imagine an anime-ish looking Vlad Tepes to look like. And I love Vlad Tepes >.>

Yeah it was somethin like that. During series present-time, Mai resided in the newly-conquered city of Omashu with her Mother, younger brother, Tom Tom, and her Father, the Fire Nation-appointed governor of the city-state.[1] Mai described Omashu as "unbearably bleak" to her mother and complained of how bored she was, stating that she was even more bored than she was back in the Fire Nation. However, soon after, Azula arrived in the city, with Ty Lee in tow, to recruit Mai to assist her on a special mission. Desperate to get out of Omashu, Mai agreed to this immediately even though she had not been told what that mission was. Before leaving, however, Azula appointed Mai, in lieu of the governor, to oversee a pre-arranged hostage trade: King Bumi for Tom Tom, her baby brother, who wandered out of the city with a group of fleeing citizens and was subsequently assumed "kidnapped" by the resistance. However, right before Mai began the transaction, Azula interrupted, coyly suggesting that trading a powerful Earthbender king for a two-year-old was strategically unwise. After a measured pause, Mai agreed and declared the deal off, thus initiating a fight between the two sides. Then, as Mai, Azula, and Ty Lee were leaving the city, Mai confirmed, impassively, that their mission was to "track down" the now-fugitive Zuko and Iroh. Azula noted that they also now had a third target (Aang) and Ty Lee pointedly stated that it would be "interesting" for Mai to see Zuko again, in response to which Mai turned away and indulged in a rare smile.

@May - That better not be real or I'm gonna make a plan to kill those people >.>
