Hironaur Haha, nice poems everybody. Some day I will either translate them or ask you to translate them for me. Hm. I'm kinda wary of posting the translation of my poem, since it isn't very good. sweatdrop Like I said before, I just had two days to learn the language, so I didn't use very complex phrases. Also, I had to work with a pretty limited vocabulary, as you well know. sweatdrop ...I think I'll post it in white. sweatdrop Oh! The sun will fall.
The golden light will fade from the sky
Darkness covered the world
Shadow of sorcery
Demons will come
Jaws have cut the good.
Light remains hidden
Sparkling
The light of the Valar and the day is blessed.
The shadow will pass from the trees
Ulmo of the royal sea lives.
The radiant powers live on.
The stars will watch.

Nienna, I think you should be commended for attempting something like that in such a short amount of time. The poem's not that bad; you did a good job. I think it works. 3nodding (I'm sure it sounds really great in Quenya, anyway. What doesn't? wink )
