"Yes! I'm with my ghoulfriend Sammy," Siddie chirped. She turned to catch Sammy's arm and pull her over, tucking herself against the zombie's side comfortably. "She's the best ghoulfriend ever."

She blinked curiously at Thackery. "Of course we want to always be happy together," she said, a little confused but clear on this point.

As soon as Siddie pulled her ghoulfriend close, Thackery's (already shaky) businesslike demeanor completely melted, replaced by a look of genuine delight. They did already look happy together, but he wanted to be sure they could always be this happy. He still had an important job to do.

"Awwww," he cooed, tail setting into a steady wag again. "You two are adorable! It's like you were made to do that!"

He gestured vaguely towards the two of them before sort of hugging himself, hoping he was getting his point across.

"And...well, that's good! Definitely good, since...okay, remember how I said this could be yours? All you've gotta do is sign your names..." He paused to offer the red ink pen. "...and promise to love each other, and I promise to help make sure you can stay happy! It's not anything bad or whatever, and it's not some kind of weird trick that turns you into junk food. I promise that too!"

Maybe one thing had stuck from his conversation with Gabriel. Just one.

Upon inspection, the paper would still just look like a fairly run-of-the-mill demon contract, partially completed with the information he'd shared with them. The only oddity was very happy print in the 'notes' section that exuberantly said something about being married now. Just in case they needed it, the ghouls were given a moment of privacy to look over the contract while the matter of his brother's question was attended to.

"They're not all the way blank, silly," he teased, reaching to take the paper from Erebus. "Oh. Wait. No, yep, this one's blank."

That was pretty typical when you took the 'finished copies' from the 'blank paper' stack instead. Of course, he still didn't realize his mistake, and he quizzically turned the page over a couple of times before giving up completely and stuffing it back into his jacket, which was beginning to take on an odd shape.

"Well, anyway." Clearing his throat, he leaned in close to whisper to his brother. "Aymet said I could marry anyone with marriage contracts and gave me the official Presidential Marriageing ability!"

Now that he'd explained in a way that was not much of an explanation at all, he excitedly looked at his brother, waving a properly printed marriage contract in his direction.

"If you're having lots of fun and stuff, maybe you should see if Tomo wants to!" The suggestion might have seemed a little cruel, considering how uncomfortable he'd already made his sibling tonight, but he really meant well. Erebus liked Tomoko, and Tomoko liked Erebus, right? It made total sense for them to get married and be happy forever!

When the song was finished Roch stretched his arms over his head, glanced at the dance floor, waved at Azmodel-- then his eyes fell for a brief moment on Danny and Amphi before he looked at the band. "Guys, I'm gonna skip out," he said. "Get some downtime before the next party. See you in town," he added--

Then shadowstepped away. He wanted a nap, okay. Being on stage was tiring.

"Well I think you're perfect so there." Tomoko replied, puffing her cheeks up a little bit before laughing, brushing her free hand over her hair to pat it back into place. Not that Jack had actually messed it up, but it felt like the proper response to being pat on the head.

For a moment, Tomoko seemed to think on the idea of Jack getting any taller, frowning ever so slightly.

"You'd be bigger than the colossus student if you got any taller..." she squeaked in answer.

She barely spotted Erebus being bothered by his brother, ears twitching just a little bit at the exchange from the distance she and Jack were at. Hm. What was happening there? She'd ask him later.

Sighing out of his nose a little, he couldn't help the smallest of blush on his cheeks - it wasn't that he was shied about it, he just didn't believe it, he would just allow her to feel he was perfect, but he knew otherwise. But, shaking his head, he figured he had stolen her long enough already, having spent enough time dancing - they had a few songs that transpired around them - he should bring her back.

Going to give her a little hug, he turned towards Tack and the triplet, nudging her lightly. "I've kept you long enough from your - uh - prom-date. I think I should send you back now, but don't be a stranger, okay?" He murmured lightly to her, tail swishing side to side a little. He wasn't sure what he would do from here on, he would have liked dancing with her for a little longer, but he could not be greedy.

Momo tried to reach up to pat Jack's head, but unfortunately even on tip-toes it was quite the stretch when there was an extra foot of height on his side over her. But the attempt was made never the less (it was just more of a forehead pat instead).

"We can try and get in another dance later, okay? If not, we can dance to the radio after tea." Which would have been more of silly dancing, but it would have been fun for her, anyways.

"I'll see you later, Jack." Tomoko beamed, giving the cat a hug before she moved towards where she could see Erebus and Thackery talking, waving to Jack one last time before she moved in on the two brother's and their discussion that seemed to be flustering Erebus.

"What are you two talkin' about?"

He had been putting this off for quite long enough. It had taken a great deal of forlorn staring in the mirror to work up the nerve to attend prom. However, the night was coming to a close, and he knew Thackery might never forgive him if he decided not to attend over a silly wardrobe problem.

They had faced significantly worse.

So, after sadly rubbing oil all over his chest as directed (Thackery had scrawled instructions, barely legible, on how to best wear his Lion Outfit ((emphasis by Thackery)), including an illustration with a stick figure with what was likely doodled abs), attaching the faux fur (never real, because something minipets something rights something) cuffs to his wrists, clipping on his fake lion tail, and drawing whiskers on his face...


Ashford went to find Thackery, clad in tight pinstripe pants and...Jack. He sincerely wished he had more clothes.

Alex didn't know a zombies face could even turn such a brilliant shade of purple, his own undead pallor at the most deviated towards a slightly pinkish hue when he found himself extremely embarrassed about something. He had to laugh though, and it felt good to do so after hours of being mostly silent, except for a few slips now and then when his drink had wore off.

"It's just a song. Mort." He grinned, voicing his zombro's thoughts out loud, and not even remotely bothered by Belladonna's more..um..provocative dance moves. He was more than comfortable, knowing that it was just words, just the way bodies liked to move when in the throes of dancedom. It was really not a big deal.

At Belladonna's question, he gave a shrug. "Something went down, but I don't want to talk about it right now. Maybe later..tomorrow or something. Just not tonight." No, he really just wanted to enjoy what was left of what was likely to be his final prom.

When the music came to a stop, he gave Belladonna another bow, this time something a little more formal. "Now if her Pink and Mighty Highness doesn't mind, I must be going." He had things to do, after all. Like wandering around looking busy when he really wasn't. Or, you know, trying to find a certain weremantis in case he could coax him into another dance or two. The evenings events were nearly at an end, after all!

"Two both of you I bid you, adieu~"
