WATER GUN RACEDraven would have to make sure and be better prepared next time. "Better prepared" in this case meant better at avoiding silly, up-tight ghouls who care more about that fact that your clothing is amazing than about the fact you spent hours preening before going out. Not that he'd ever admit to preening his feathers... to anyone who didn't have feathers. Which meant he would not be telling this Mia person. Perhaps you should do something about your attitude, Miss Snobby-skirt. Draven was a bit sad to see her balloon seemed to be closer to popping than his. This was going to hurt his pride, wasn't it? WATER GUN RACEHad she heard his thoughts, she would have indignantly smacked him. Don't you dare lump butterflies with the rest of those disgusting 6-legged ingrates you beast. Butterflies were beautiful delicate, REFINED creatures Nevermind the fact they came from less than humble beginnings..
And she was wearing a DRESS not a skirt. This was PROM, meaning formal wear, not hippie clothes you bum. Sadly, this internal debate had to come to an end as she grinned, popping the balloon with her last squirt.
"Looks like I win~" she clapped triumphantly, turning to face him. "Expect something in front of your door later."
With that, she slipped off the seat, waved and left.

WATER GUN RACEHe tried, he really did. She was simply better at the game than he was. Her balloon burst moments before his did. She'd won. "It would seem you did. Congratulations," he nodded, accepting defeat. Pride hurt or not, he wasn't one to complain when he lost fair and square. "Don't trouble yourself, now." Seriously. Don't. DUCK PONDKiwi had to admit, he'd never seen a duckling quite like this back on Famine. "How curious," he admired, watching one waddle past him as it left the pond. Bending down, he attempted to snatch it.
What he came away with, was a ribbon with a small slip of paper. A carnival ticket. "Oh, it seems they're carrying something too."

Honestly, he had no idea what prize that particular ribbon would get him, but at least the duck hadn't bit him. Just to see if he could get something better, he tried to pick up another one. He'd just have to rely on the gnome in charge to give him what he was supposed to get.

RING TOSS
The ring toss was something Rosc preferred over the ducks and the strength game. He'd never been very strong and his past would definitely lean towards unlucky.
So he was a bit off his game, at least he had gotten a couple on the bottles. Pretty good for a "blind" guy.

BALLOON POP
Well, ring toss and balloon game were probably his favorites. Rosc had been better at the latter of the two, only he wasn't very good if he tried to improve his score. Maybe he just needed more practice... Maybe he'd have to play some target games with Bob, the corrividus certainly deserved it.

DUCK PONDAlexander had at some point linked his arm with Yin's, a broad smile plastered across his face as he slowly, but with a little bit of pep in his step, led the other boil towards the midway, where all of the games were to be played. The first one that he saw coming up as they approached the bright lights, jabbering gnomes, and music being blared through a speaker system, was the duck pond. He'd had very little involvement in actually creating the games outside of the suggestions towards what they should have, leaving the brunt of that activity to Mort. He nudged his bonded and pointed towards it before veering in that direction himself, stopping to look at the vampire ducks floating in the small pool of water with a slight tilt of his head. Those looked rather..bitey. The gnomette letting them know that the little ducks were hungry was given a small grimace, and Alexander was half tempted to gesture for Yin to try first, though he managed to stop himself from doing so. What kind of bonded would he be if he didn't delve into dangerous territory first? So, with no further ado he grabbed for the nearest duck, plucking it out of the water with slender gloved fingers and quickly turning it over, only to see that he'd gotten a ribbon that indicated he would get a prize of one ticket for his heroic efforts. He practically beamed at Yin before dropping the duck back into the pond with a splash.

BALLOON POP
Just three would only get him one ticket, the lights behind Rosc's glasses dimmed slightly as he tried to focus his concentration. It was a little trick he was working on. Since they were just an illusion, he had been trying to find ways to represent certain expressions, mostly for Sin's benefit. And while she wasn't with him at the moment, he continued to practice them so that they came more naturally.

Ying shook her hand, attempting to break free of the duck. But the more she shook, the more deeply it wedged into her hand, only further securing its grip.
"C-Could you help me?" she said, wincing slightly. "I think it has forgotten how to let go! Perhaps tickling it?'

Very scarcely did anyone appear to take interest in preventing Shine from being upset. Even if she was slightly (more than slightly) misinterpreting Mikey's intentions, she was grateful that he had led her away from what ailed her; she leaned against him and softly hummed to herself, letting his words settle contentedly in her ears. "Well, I...even...if he said no, um..." She gave a shy little laugh and covered part of her face with her hand. "You look...like.. way better." The execution of what was meant to be a mirrored compliment was shaky at best, but she was not particularly witty. Especially not after she'd just been called 'pretty'. After she had a moment to think about what she'd said, she did realize that she hadn't really given him a very clear answer. Oh, what if he thought she'd meant she didn't want to dance? What if-- She stopped herself with a defiant sniffle, and resolved to stop all of the ambiguity with a real answer. "I...yes. I'd really, ah...I want to dance."
