Awright, lemme just clarify something about Brugesh that people seem to have missed so far- he's old for an orc. 35 years old in Orsimer- a daedric race who'se life expectancy (due to fighting, warfare, murder, violence, rage, predators, etc) is roughly 27 is like me playing as a 65 year old human. The scars? He's earned them- not through stupidity or bad defense, but through fighting on some of the toughest enemies the Orsimer have seen. That includes adventurers (the first 2 Elder Scrolls games featured Orcs as an enemy race), other daedra of all sorts (other because Orcs are of Malacath, a daedric prince) and Orc women- bitches are like praying mantises in the sack.
Now, I know this seems.... what's the word, immature? Fine, maybe it is. But take into consideration his standing as a general in the former Orsinium army- that has to account for something to his skill and tactical leadership, seeing as how the war for Orsinium (formerly located in the Dragontail Mountains, near High Rock) was one of the biggest events in the history of Tamriel.
I'm just pissed, don't mind me.

Dr. H. Lecter I know, I was actually about to bring that up. I'm not entirely sure what to do XD In the game, I would have rushed off and juggernaughted my way through the quest by now DX But as it is, I need to wait for the game to progress itself with the other players, and I kinda made the mistake of making a character who's a d**k XD So, he doesn't really play well with others... Bah. I shall make it work! Eventually... -_-' I kinda hope so...... Joker--- i ish confused? bad day?

Millenium Joker Awright, lemme just clarify something about Brugesh that people seem to have missed so far- he's old for an orc. 35 years old in Orsimer- a daedric race who'se life expectancy (due to fighting, warfare, murder, violence, rage, predators, etc) is roughly 27 is like me playing as a 65 year old human. I'm just pissed, don't mind me. Thing is, though, that our characters (mine at least) don't really know about the life expectancy of orcs. Just because my character has visited the Arena here and there and seen a few orcs die young over the years won't make him conclude that all orcs die young. About the scars and defense, well, again, it's my Character's interpretation. All my character knows about Bugresh at the moment is that he was a general, he's got a load of scars (not knowing where from) and he's a bit of a racist. About the whole general during the war for Orsinium, people often like to disregard the positive aspects of people they're not really fond of. Furthermore, there are different kinds of generals, those that stay back and plan, those that fight alongside their troops, those that do a bit of both and those that do ******** all. If you want we could even say that our characters (or at least mine) are a very uninformed people, just like there's probably people that don't know about Libya nowadays, or never heard of Operation Desert Storm. Also would be a lot easier if there was a bio to read.

Loco- That makes sense.
Honestly I didn't even know all that stuff joker just mentioned about orcs....I'm afraid that I and perhaps others are not as well informed knowledge-wise about alot of elder scrolls things.
Joker plays the game all the time and has more knowledge about the elder scrolls then anyone else I know or have met. =)
But you do have a point, not everyone in character would even begin to know all these things.
Joker- I think perhaps you feel like there is disrespect for the general you have created and people aren't understanding him the way you were expecting and that is causing you some frustration. Honestly if he had a bio (which I know you are working on the best you can) perhaps he would be understood better, but even with a bio, in character knowledge and behavior is not always going to make things go as some people may wish. Obviously the general needs a certain level of respect but at the same time if his intro is being racist and whatever have you, characters are going to respond accordingly, and (hopefully) based on their character's personality.
And at this point for various reasons there is no required character personality section for characters....
But anyways. Lets all calm down before this escalates......yes?

Lector--- I'm kinda waiting on you to post before we can get a move on so I hope you can do so in the near future....like the next few days...
I'm kinda feeling that the four extremely active FG members are progressing more then us three DB members....I wish we had another member.

Oh? Well, then I'll simply have to post, won't I.
@ Joker ;; I think I get where you're coming from, dude, and all I can say is that giving your character some time to build up or whathave you may help. Like... given time, characters can learn more about other characters, and thus gain some respect(or in this case fear).
If ya ever need to talk, my inbox is always open. whee
