"Mind the language around my little girl, Zeno." Heswina ordered. Not requested, not stated, but ordered. Steel backed her eyes, even the visionless white. "I'd rather not have her exposed to the needlessness that the Black Company likes to spew by the bucket full. You know, mindless violence, crude and mean individuals. That sort of stuff." Still petting the little girl, like some obedient little cat, Heswina turned so her left side was exposed to Zenogais. "Oh, and I have no reason to see you destroyed, Zenogais. After all, I did request the death." Motioning towards the forest line, pushed back by all the recent attacks on the Citadel, Heswina started forward, the little girl keeping close to her mother.

*Thank goodness neither of the children had been too close when the explosion took place. They had some damage to their ears but nothing unrecoverable, it would merely take a few days to heal. Of course durring that time, both Eecheb and Trilla would probably face some interesting challenges. Hearing their parents, hearing their brother, hearing eachother.... This was one time that the sign language Nana had taught to them would come in handy. Trilla would blink several times once the loud ringing had stopped, it was a relief*

Zeno: Whatever stare *That was the only response Hes would get to her "order." Zeno watched for about half a minute as the two walked off, having been given little reassurance*.......To hell with my curiosity.... *With that, he started walking after Hes*
Than: *After another few minutes, Than pulled back, albeit not as far, and moved so he would be able to speak normally and hopefully have her at least hear him* Trilla? Is the ringing gone? can you hear me?

*Trilla would shake her head to make sure the ringing was really gone. Her ears still hurt a bit though, making her fidget slightly. After a moment or two, Trilla would nod to Thanatos. She could hear him, though he didn't seem to be talking very loud, at least to her. Well, at least should could hear him now, even if not all that well. Funny though, Trilla still had puffed up cheeks as if she were cross. Perhaps now that she could hear again, her thoughts had moved onto other things*

*Ah yes.... drifting from one problem to the next. Whether it be loss of hearing or brothers leaving you behind, the topic would be changed and talked about. It seemed that Thanatos would hear all about it to, from Eecheb, to Tyrsais, to the explosion. Wasn't he the lucky fellow? No doubt Trilla's outburst about Eecheb, would get Thanatos asking questions. After Trilla had said her part, her cheeks puffed right back up again*

^^;; Hnn.... *Even if it was random, Than was glad to hear Trilla talking about things she'd mentioned before* all right, all right.... come in.... *Than motioned for Trilla to come into his room, while he moved and sat on the side of his bed* Tell me, what did Eecheb do now...... *Than made sure he was close enough to Trilla and loud enough for her to hear*

Trilla: T__T | He left Trilla all alone. He played with a rock that we played catch with, and then when Trilla went to pick up the rock, he ran a way. An... an then he didn't answer when Trilla called him!
*So, Eecheb had started out by playing catch, then at some point the stone must have been tossed to far or had slid across the ground. Trilla went to pick it up, and durring that time Eecheb ran away leaving her behind. Once Trilla had found the rock again, Eecheb was nowhere in sight. Trilla had called out to him, but he never responded to her, he simply left her alone in the streets. Trilla would probably get to Tyrsais next, even if he didn't really do anything this time*

Ah~.... I see ^^; Yes... I suppose it was a little mean for him to go off without saying anything. *Thanatos would lift Trilla up to the bed and sit her on his leg, loosely embracing her* Well when Eecheb comes back you can tell him off..... but please don't fight with him..... If you want me to go with you, I will.

*In response, Trilla would latch to Thanatos around his middle and nod. Oh, she'd tell Eecheb off all right, but there was no garentee they wouldn't fight. Since they were but infants, those two always scrapped. It didn't matter how many times they had been told not to fight either, or by whom, they'd continue to do so anyways. A loud huff would be heard from Trilla and she tried not to think about her frustration with Eecheb, but rather on her current situation. At least Thanatos was a little bit out of his funk, enough to have helped Trilla so that was well and good. He could console his sister, but could she do the same for him even just by being there? One could but hope*

*Trilla didn't offer him any consolation with her presence; she only distracted him. Truth to be told, information was still up on the moniter* Hnn..... I could spend some time with you, outside, if you want.... I don't want to leave you alone right now either. *Than lightly nuzzled his nose into Trilla's hair. Just turned a year old and she was already suffering from one of her worst life experiences. Back on the moniter, there was only one large thing displayed, an acronym*

*Trilla would shake her head, she didn't want to go back out now, not after all of that. One nearby explosion and debris field was more than the small child wanted to handle for one evening. Quite frankly from all the stuff that had rained down on her, it would have been a better idea to get her washed up and clean again, then have her clothes laundered. Either that or she needed to be wrapped up in a blanket and kept warm until she dried off. Either way she wouldn't be alone and would remain indoors. Trilla hadn't really been paying attention to the moniter in the room, and it was doubtful she would at least for a while. She propably couldn't understand the information anyways so at least for her, there was no touble with it if she saw something*
Trilla: T__T | It's too loud outside. Trilla doesn't want to go there now.

Is there anything else I can do to help you? *Reaching over with his arm, Than pulled the blanket of his bed up and brought it to Trilla, carefully wrapping her in the warm and comfortable object*

*Try to calm down? Oh if only he had seen her earlier, compared to that Trilla was calm. She'd only hug Thanatos a little tighter when he asked if she needed anything, then shook her head in a "no". Trilla could probably use her teddybear, she could squeeze that item until the cows came home and free up Thanatos so he could go back to blitzing himself on the truth. The blanket helped a bit, though it was going to take a while for her to dry off. Her hair was still clumped into wet strips from where ice and water had meltted and split her hair into wet strips*

Hnn.... *Thanatos slowly laid back on his bed, letting the wrapped up Trilla lie on him while hugging to him. Looking at the ceiling, his hand nonchalantly stroke Trilla's partially wet hair* ~_~ You can stay as long as you want. *Truthfully, Than enjoyed, even if he didn't show it, being clung to. Even if Trilla could've squeezed the life out of her teddybear, it still wouldn't be as warm as Than*
