My options were 3x5, 4x4 or 6x2 in terms of how long I was enlisting.

3x5 means I'd be active for 3 years and afterwards they could call me back for active duty any time during the next 5 years. The others mean the same, but change the numbers a bit.

Eh, I really don't care that much, I just really liked my goatee. It will, eventually, be allowed to grow back. I'm pretty nonchalant about most things.
