Well, the theater business might well go under any time now. Not a comfort, but look at it this way, the next job you get stands to be around longer and be more stable in the market.

Lamb - sorry you lost your job. It was unfair of them not to excuse you for an emergency. But I'm very relieved your girlfriend is ok. smile
Lily - thanks for pointing out the stuff you added to your journal. The pictures are awesome! Looks like you had a great trip! Oh and good luck on your job interview. biggrin
I'm sad to hear about George Carlin. He was one of my favorites too. sad
((((hugs))) to Erin. I hope your brother stays safe.

thanks for all the well wishes regarding my bro.. we are still holding out some hope that they will just send him back due to his back injury (he was in a car accident and broke his back in three places) but with our military who knows.. and I don't want to get my hopes up too much..
Exxos.. man.. I feel like a heel for missing your posts about your.. jeez I don't even want to call her your mom lol.. I have heard a lot of horror stories about parents but man.. the cruelty of some people never fails to amaze me. I don't want to dredge up stuff.. but if you ever want to talk about it give me a holler.. I'm fairly open and will talk about just about anything here in the guild (as long as it's t.o.s. lol) but I know not everyone is that way..
On a random note.. anyone know how to crack that spot in your back right between your shoulder blades.. I'm not very flexible.. it's freaking killing me.. no matter how I sit, lay or stand it doesn't seem to help.. any ideas? got the heating pad on it right now.. thank god for the vibrating function..
.. and for the love of all that's holy.. get your minds out of the gutters lol twisted

(Gutters! Away with you!) One way is to have someone put their knee/calf on the spine and carefully pull the shoulders back and slightly up.

Maybe I can get my rugrats to walk on me in the morning.. though at 3 & 6 I don't know if they weigh enough to do any good lol.

Actually, (gutters aside sweatdrop ) I bought a silver bullet vibrator specifically to use on my back. Thankfully that is all I need to use it for. It works like a dream because I can use it to target the exact spot that hurts. I got the idea after my back specialist used a vibrating heating pad on my back.

The 6yo might work, it does not take a lot of strength, it is more of a leverage thing.

It works like a dream because I can use it to target the exact spot that hurts. I got the idea after my back specialist used a vibrating heating pad on my back. Well thankfully the heating pad seems to be doing the trick.. at least enough that I might actually be able to get some sleep.. think I'll smoke one more and then go crash so I can be up with kids in the morning.. My only question/problem with using a bullet vibrator would be getting it in just the right spot on my back.. it hurts right in between my shoulder blades.. and I can't exactly reach the spot lol.. wow..this whole conversation just seems so wrong on some level lol.. Love you crafty! *hugs*

Erin you crack me up! *hugs*
I let my 7 1/2 year old walk up and down on my back sometimes. Although the thing that works best is laying on top of my heating pad and falling asleep.
Sometimes I wish I smoked even though I'm glad I don't. I like to be doing something with my hands and have something (usually munchies you dirty minds) in my mouth.

For some reason, I read that and one of the voices in my head yelled, "BONG!" I have to admit, I chuckled.

Glad I could amuse you mien elf.
For now I am off. I must put dinner's remains away for tomorrow. Then I am so going to bed and hopefully to sleep. My friend who owns half the bar I go to is celebrating her birthday On Wednesday evening/Thursday morning. She is expecting me to be there and to drink with her. Although I might just stay sober-ish so I can drive her home. Either way Thursday is going to be a loooong day.

Pardon my correction, but it would be "Mein Elb."
And the idea of Raj in a short, black dress piques my interest - since Raj's pictures exude a more casual, neo-kiche couture. Kind of like a hippy with fashion sense who can actually dress herself. sweatdrop It's a compliment, just a sloppy one. sweatdrop
