Garreth heard him pat the ground and speak to him, so his attention was turned towards him. He just gave a small smile and sat down beside Smash. Mari just wrapped her arms around the little girl and sat her on her lap. Raine on one leg and Cyan on the other. "Now, why don't you two get along that well? I see two wonderful children on my lap that could do a lot of good by working together, but all you do is fight." Cyan just crossed his arms. "Cause she's mean. She always picks on me and gets me in trouble."

For the first time, Garreth spoke up and had a small smile on his face. "If they didn't, I'd think they were sick." He had a very quiet voice and it was calm.
Mari just held onto the two and smiled. "Now, now. Both of you should try to get along better. She hugged the both of them and nuzzled both of their heads."

Cyan just smiled and returned her nuzzle. He didn't mind Raine being on her lap anymore so long as he was getting attention.
Garreth just nodded at his words and looked up at Smash. He moved his wings a bit to adjust them so he'd be more comfortable while he was sitting.

Garreth just held his smile and shrugged. Keeping his soft voice low. "I just don't like wasting words."
Mari was playing with the small girl's blue hair. Running her fingers through it and even braiding a few strands. Cyan just kept ahold of her and felt a bit jealous that she was playing with Raine's hair, but didn't make a fuss.

All he did was smile gently. He had already heard this before from the same person only an older version. He didn't even say anything back. He just let Smash put his arm around him and looked at his mom with what seemed a bit of sadness.
Mari noticed his look and she wondered why he was looking at her like that, but didn't want to be straight foward and ask. Mari just kept playing with Raine's hair and Cyan just held onto her.

Mari was kind of uneasy of the whole situation. "I don't know... You think we should with the whole... Timeline thing?" She knew Raine wanted to go and that's what upset her, but she didn't want to do more damage by taking them places where they might end up getting hurt.

Mari looked down and didn't like seeing the girl whimper and whine. "I don't know, Raine... It might not be a good idea..." Cyan seemed upset and started whimpering as well. Just having them whimpering like that upset her because she didn't want to tell them no, but she didn't want something to happen. Garreth just didn't do much of anything. He knew he was going to get fed whether they went out or not.

She pet Raine on the head and gave a small smile. "I could cook us all something. Is that a good plan?" She was trying to make the small girl feel better. Cyan and Garreth smiled at her idea because they knew that Mari could cook good. In fact they loved that she was a good cook because if they had to eat their dad's cooking, they usually chose not to eat.
