The dragon blinked.
"I see... Then you can narrow it down to this shelf..." He pointed at the eye leval shelf. "There are many ideas as to what happens, but very few have been proven."
Oh, gee... Dessy rolled her eyes. That's very reasuring...
Anja smiled gently.
"Well... it's kind of back to phase one..."

"Thanks good, but I don't even know where to look first" He sighed and picked up a book "I can master human language, but when it comes to my own, I'm clueless"
"Yeah, but it's probably for just while I'm here, maybe that means the curse isn't in affect here?"

Look... Dessy stated impatiently, Is there any book here with theroies as to how remove the scale?
"Ah..." the dragon nodded, "Well, this one might be what you're looking for..." He pulled a leathery book off the shelf.
Anja shrugged.
"One can only suppose..."

"I guess we move on then?" He strenched his wings out and sniffed around "I smell food" He pointed in its direction

I can deal with that...
"The next states that it can't be removed, but it slowly turns the lower half of said host into that of a mermaid..."

"This all my fault" He layed down and looked at Dessy "I'm sorry, I just wanted someone who could stay with me even in water, I didn't know any of this would happen, but maybe the first fact is right?"
"You can't change someone into the friend you want them to be, because then this would happen" He walked over slowly and looked at Dessy "That's a mermaid scale alright, but it seems different from the common one's around here?" He stopped a sec "It can't be?" He flipped through the pages until something caught his eye "That scale is the queen mermaid's scale, it's strong and has many abilities, some not proven though" He closed the book and handed it to the other water dragon "My eyes are heavy once more, I need to rest, would you mine reading them about the scale?" He turned around and layed back down in his resting spot
"I know, but where's there food there's people right?"
Mommy She clung to Anja as a spirit passed by her

Dessy's eyes softened for a minute.
'He just wanted a friend?' She looked at the book... yes, the scales in the picture seemed to look like the one on her forehead.
It's not your fault, Levi... she muttered.
"Yes, sir..." The assistant looked over the text. "As you can probably figure, it allows you to breath underwater."
Duh.
"One study suggests that it allows you to use weaker water attacks alongside normal attacks..."
...
"But, we do not know for sure."
Anja craddled Ena closer to her.
"Sh... it's okay." She looked to Lloyd. "True... but if this is the spirit world, some are bound to be unfriendly, aren't they?"

He looked down "But we don't even know what this thing does really, and if the mermaid scale would make the user into half a mermaid, then..."
"Well I guess we will have to stay away from those, plus they're spirits they have no solid form and can't hurt us"
She whined a little, but looked away from the psirits coming from around them adn passing by
Luna sat on Lloyd's mane when he became a dragon again and looked at a passing spirit "Don't worry, they can't see us unless we are in the light"

Then we'll just find away to get it off before I do change... Dessy stated determandly, stomping.
"But, Miss..." the water dragon looked at her from the book. "No one has accopmlished that before."
Yeah? Well, that no one hasn't been Despina, daughter of Anarc.
Anja shushed Ena again.
"Well, let's get going then... and stay away from the light..."

He got up and nudgged Dessy "Right, we can get it off, besides it doesn't say anything about transforming, right?"
"Alright, let's follow our nose xd " He sniffed around as he walekd forward "Good to be out of that itchy fur and feathers"
She cuued and rested in Anja's arms

Dessy blushed slighlty and nudged him back.
Right.
"If that is all you need, then I wish the both of you luck in your research. Should you find something, I ask that you return so we may update our information data base."
Anja chuckled slightly and followed after him.
Once again, Blitz's head rose slightly. She was begining to feel her energy returning.

"Alright, well I guess we have no choice where to go next Dessy" He returned to the entrance "Thank you for everything" He bowed and jumped through the whirlpool
"Hey don't laugh, you only had a tail and loin paws, not a fur and feathered coat all day" He sighed "But I guess I'll have to go back when we leave, the spirit world must be deflecting the curse here, we could stay like our normal forms if we stayed here?"
Gigas was still alittle weak, but managed to breath a little slower "Good to see you're oaky" He smiled but never even opened his eyes

Yes, thank you... Dessy bowed out and left after Levi.
Anja remained quiet.
'Talons, tail, feathers, paws...' She looked at her hands, or more so, her nails. They were still a bit longer then normal, but they were no longer black. 'His curse is more currable then... then... this...'
Blitz nudged Gigas slightly.
Wish I could say the same...

"Well let's go see your 'servants' shoud I say?" He swam towards the ship "Dessy, if we can't find a way, then..." He stopped as a floating bubble came from his eye, a tear
He stopped "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up the curse" He looked down "But we both know, it's impossible to stop"
"I just need some energy, nothing alittle rest can;t cure"

Dessy swam up to him.
Levi... Tenitivly, she licked the side of his face.
"It's alright..." She held Ena with one arm and placed her free hand on his head. With a tired smile, "So, how about that food?"
Blitz smiled and nuzzled Gigas.
