I wouldn't have gone out of my way to flame the owners (hell, I wouldn't have even checked the link if you hadn't posted that, Sor), but I do kinda wonder how they got in the Community Spotlight, in the first place. The art is not that good - looks like stuff I sketched in my spare time in early middle school. And I don't see where it has enough pages to be popular for chat or speediness or whatnot. It's just like every other art thread from people with a scanner trying to make a buck. I kinda feel like they just picked the shop that happened to be at the top of the page when they checked the commission subforum and said "Let's put this in the Spotlight!"

A shame the shop owners had to deal with that because Gaia was too lazy to find something distinctive enough to be worth putting in the spotlight, though. I haven't been in Minishops in ages, and I could have suggested a lot of more interesting shops. Of course, I wouldn't, because such widespread public recognition tends to have a bad effect.

I remember back when one of the Collectives was featured. My first thought was "Thank GOD I am not working it this season." I was one of the planners who helped get those going again a couple of Halloweens ago. But the majority of people who signed up to fill orders never did any work, so I burned out bad during the X-Mas or Spring Collective that followed. I forget which... I think it may have been Spring because we didn't anticipate a lot of customers. But then one of the mods stickied us, so we got a LOT of customers. sweatdrop

Hahaha! The last CAPTCHA I got contained the word "Wallachia." That made my day.

And I'd rather have a papercut on the tip of my finger than where the joint bends. I got one of those from a cardboard box a while back. It sucked hardcore.

WAI! I just checked the panda den for the hell of it. It's always empty, so I never bother anymore. But... there was a mother panda in it! Nursing a tiny newborn! *dies from cuteness*

Although, I wonder... my time spent with HsingHsing seemed to go up an awful lot after I sat there looking at the mother and cub. I hope that wasn't him in there or the game designers have some answering to do. gonk

I know we both said we don't want to get sick of each other by spending every day together like some of the other couples we know do, and I know it's weird trying to figure out time to hang out because of my work schedule, but still...this whole only seeing each other once a week thing isn't exactly fun. I spend more time missing you than anything else.

lol Midterms are pretty easy for me. It's the ASL presentation I'm nervous about. emo

Aw, that would kill me. Sometimes it's good to be cautious, but you know, you could always do the once-a-week thing when you ARE sick of each other, haha... Plus, you don't have to judge your own relationship based on your friends', you guys might be different!
