He looked at her and gave her a small smile. "I will say one thing so you won't be upset. You have a beautiful aura that shines, but not enough people see it." He gave only a small reason he enjoyed her company, but to her it would seem like a good reason for now.

she listened to this and for some reason, she felt better hearing this. she even smiled a bit.

"It just got brighter when you smiled." He reached one of his hands up and pushed a piece of her hair behind her ear. All he could do was smile as he pulled his hand back and let it drop to his side.

she looked up at him and blushed a bit. so many thoughts were going through her head. she never felt this feeling before and she felt confused. the only thing she knew was that this was a good feeling. she didn't know what to say and could only look into his eyes.

He looked back into her eyes for a bit and then rubbed the back of his head. "I should get home... I don't want my parents worrying about me." He didn't want to do what part of him was telling him to do for fear of his life since he was still in her parents' home.

she blinked then nodded. "o-oh yes. well i'll let you out. come on." she walked out of the room then headed for the door outside and opened it for him.

James followed her down the steps and waved at Smash and Mari who were sitting on the couch and still watching TV. "It was a pleasure meeting you both. Maybe I'll meet you again sometime." Mari waved and smiled. "I'm sure we will. You take care and be safe going home." He stopped at the door and started out, but then remembered something. "Oh yea!" He waved his hand in the air and a piece of paper appeared with a number written on it. "That's my cell. You know, if you want to talk or hang out over the weekend." He smiled and finished walking outside. He took the charm from his necklace and turned it into the full sized staff.

she smiled and took his number. she stood outseide with him and looked up at him. "yea. i'll give you a call."

He nodded and put his free hand up to wave. "See you around, then." He smiled and then jumped into the air, sitting on the staff and flying off in the direction of the city.

she waved back and watched him fly off. she kept smiling then turned and walked into the house.

Mari looked over at her and smiled. "I guess I won't yell at you about the game thing since he wasn't too angry about it, but if I hear anything about you stealing from someone again, be assured that your a** will be grass." Even though she was smiling, she was giving her a serious look as if not to test her.

There was a loud explosion that seemed to be heard from down in the basement and Mari put her hand up to her forehead and rubbed. "Matt, go see what he's doing down there because heaven knows that I will probably end up kicking his a**."
