There are a great many things that I cannot do. A great many things I cannot give of myself...
*Tavin stepped right up to Kara, so close that they were practicaly touching*
I do not feel lust, Kara, nor passion or desire. These are things that God has kept from me. I feel love. Love for my friends, love for my children, and love for my wife. I'm afraid that I can't give to you what you really want Kara. I can't can't give you my heart, as its been given to another. Not THAT..... But.. perhaps...... Perhaps this will do, instead?

Her deepest fantasy was finally coming to pass, and this time she spared no moment to embrace it. She placed one hand at the lowest part of his neck and her other through his hair, and returned the kiss... but as simply as the moment was embraced did she suddenly release it:::
:::Kara inched back, her eyes opening with tears in them. She whispered from those inches away, wanting to be away but wanting to stay close so much more:::
Why... how... how could you do that to me..? I've dreamt of this so much, and you offer my dream to me, in tiny little pieces... in just little tastes...

:::She stood in place for a moment, hoping against hope that he would reappear and take it back. But she knew when her eyes had no more tears to cry that he wasn't going to come back.
Defeated, in a way she didn't think was possible, Kara walked listlessly to the keys, and found her way through the door back to where she could lie down, and wait for more tears to come:::

:::Kara appeared slowly, her body not so much seated as it was lying there in a chair, her upper arms cushioning her head that rest on the table. Her hair was let down completely, she wasn't wearing her usual jewels. Her feat were wrapped in something thin and soft like silk. She wore her thin violet robes as she appeared to be sleeping:::

*Mystina walked over to Kara and looked at her sleeping, not sure if she should wake her up. She looked like she'd been crying. She also looked like she might not be in all that comfortable of a position, so Mystina decided she should wake her up.*
