Shackled Servant Very well. I wasn't aware of the setting when I initially read the layout of the guild.
I'll post again when I've reformatted everything. Even so, I would like to particularly thank you for taking all this with a grain of salt. I do apologize for all the confusion, I myself did not know are captain was such a stickler for having backgrounds fit with modern day times. Regardless of all of this, we are definitely glad to have you on board and we certainly look forward to see what your made of in RP.

Snuffins rusbob13 Snuffins rusbob13 Snuffins rusbob13 Cool. Now what does a two drop planes walker mean? It comes out for 2 mana... instead of saying so much mana, people have just taken to saying "[x] drop" but the 2 drop comes in with 3 counters to start, has a +1 of draw a card, discard one at random, a -4 of "Deal x damage to target player where x is the amount of cards in their hand" and a -6 of "Take control of all creatures until the end of turn. Untap them and they gain haste" so pretty much, his -6 is a stampede of pain.... His -6 is basically a game over xD Anyways so you start off with 1 loyalty, so you would have to draw a card 6 times in order to do the stamped and not kill off your card? no, he starts off with 2 counters...each planes walker gets a different amount. Like, he starts with 2, but Sorin starts with 3. so in 4 turns, it's game over...and since he comes out so early, it's hard to just off and kill him.... s**t makes sense now =] I feel like playing magic again now, but I don't know anyone who plays =/ I've got one other friend who plays it, but i go to the local shop to play with others...you should try looking for a store I think we have one of those around here, but I also want to play the pokemon TCG again too, and I haven't seen anyone there playing poemon. I actually have a pretty good deck. xD It has a dark monster that can do 30 damage to all the opposing pokemon, bench and the pokemon on the field. And I have a dark energy card that adds 10 damage to attacks. I can win the entire game in just a few turns. XD

Thought I'd mention that your use of "are" should be "our", meaning belonging to you and someone else. Since you've used it that way more than once, I thought I'd give you a tip. *thumbs up*
And I apologize if I missed something or read it too quickly to pass over that.
I'll probably just bring in a new character, now that I've been brainstorming it for awhile. Hope I didn't tick too many people off by being presumptuous.

I realize I make that mistake more times than I can count, but it really just flows out of my fingers. Don't worry, you ticked no one off. We here are particularly laid back bunch and few things tend to bother us. If anything, I'll man up here and say that some of this confusion was caused by me, not you.

Oh good, I was sincerely hoping that I hadn't perturbed any of you.
Is it alright to keep my Hell's Grasp application, if I just change the name around? I plan to use it in the same nature.

Is it alright to keep my Hell's Grasp application, if I just change the name around? I plan to use it in the same nature. I would say yes but I don't know how the other crew would react. They would probably be fine with it but there are a few things in your application that are a bit out of the norm. Namely your quoted RP sample and in your description of the Hell's Grasp style, you describe things that are not necessarily apart of that style. If it was me, I would rewrite the application from scratch, using a fresh RP sample, just to prevent any confusion from happening. You are more than welcome to go with your original plan, though I cannot guarantee that it would be accepted or not.

In the application, it says that you want to see how it is used. Somewhere in the posts, is where I've used a technique, like the fireball in the one I posted.
But we'll see what I have the time/energy to do.

Shackled Servant What's the suggested age limit, at maximum? there's been 20 somethings, but most of the rpcs are around 16-18

Shackled Servant What's the suggested age limit, at maximum? I looked around a bit but couldn't find a maximum age limit...obviously you would want to use some sense and know that you can't have someone moving like Goku at age 160, but I think having a fighter at an older age is completely acceptable. There is a age limit on how young a RPC can be though, as it states in the profile skeleton that RPC's cannot be under the age of 10.

Since it is a school, I was wondering how legitimate I could make a 20-something work. Eighteen will do, though.

Grammatical mistakes don't annoy me as much as they used to a few years ago. This is just Gaia, where it's not all that big a deal if someone makes a mistake or doesn't know the correct composition. I get more irritated when it's a peer's paper in college, or if it's something to be professionally submitted. I get asked frequently to edit friend's papers since I'm a known perfectionist in that regard.
But I do try to lend a helping hand if it's an honest mistake. If they're willing to learn, I'm willing to teach.
