Kazuhiko just zigzagged through the maze-like halls, making a beeline for the lab. There was a strong smell of smoke; parts of the palace were on fire, and the lab...
Well, the lab had certainly seen better days, as had Yuki, Watari and Shiori.
"Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! ********!" Kazuhiko paused, eyes widening. "I CAN HELP I CAN HELP!!"
He bolted into the room, immediately starting to heal Watari. Out of he and Yuki, he was most likely to die first.
He wasn't sure about Shiori though.... She was a different case entirely.

Kazuhiko leapt over to Shiori, but his face fell. "Oh s**t." he whispered, "She's starting to leave...!"
He wasn't kidding. He began to heal her body, but even after he did so, she didn't stir.
But he did. He leapt into the air, seeming to wrestle with something, or someone. "Oh no you don't! he scolded it---her??--harshly, trying to shove her back in. "Now I WILL call you Shi-chan from now on! Oh, oh no, don't even TRY to outtalk ME b***h." he snapped, before slamming his hand into her heart. "YOU are WAKING UP!"
But she didn't. The boy cursed and scampered after her soul again, trying to wrestle and gain control of her.
"Try and resuscitate her!" Kaguyo shouted from across the room, "HURRY!"


Kazuhiko beamed. "Kay!" he chirped, before shooting off at the rock. "RACE YOU!"
He took off as quickly as he could--which was pretty fast for a little kid.
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" he shouted gleefully, "YEAAA!"

Kazuhiko cursed more, before being tossed to the floor. "That's not Shi-chan!" he assured them, glancing back. "That was Aoki! But I cursed him. He'll be leaving here quickly, he's not coming back in. Don't worry."
Shiori still was quiet, until Kazuhiko came over. "Wait a minute Ojisan." he whispered. "WAKE UP!"
He pressed down on her heart, releasing a wave of electricity.
Nothing.
It wasn't until after another round of CPR that Shiori started to cough, eyes opening with fright. Seeing Aled calmed her immediately. "Aled-kun..!"
"SHI-CHAN!" Kazuhiko cheered, "You're AWAKE!"
But his voice, the lights, the fire, the smoke, everything hit Shiori at once; she groaned, curling in on Aled, holding her head. "Itaiiiiiiiiiii....!"
Tree extract was potent stuff.

Kazuhiko giggled, before trying to go faster.
How much WAS Dad hiding??
"You're so fast Da..." he watched him amazedly, "Why can't Mum fly??"

Kazuhiko smiled. "After dinner we should try and teach her." he decided. "She'd like this..."
She could do short hops at most, especially when panicked; she had managed to fly a bit whenever running from Aled. That had been when she had first visited Tarnbsei...
That was such a long time ago.


Shiori just buried her head into Aled's chest and arms, trying to do as he said. "Everyone's so loud... tell them to shut up..." she pleaded, "Let's go somewhere quiet.."

Kazuhiko tilted his head. "How???"
He didn't get that.
He hated quiet.

Kazuhiko nodded, quickly working on healing the injured Watari.
Yuki was starting to stir finally, groaning softly.
All the while, Shiori hid her eyes from the light as she and Aled retreated.
"At least no one died." Kaguyo pointed out. "I don't think Aled would've been able to take it Su-kun."

Shiori sighed with relief as the sounds were muted, nuzzling Aled slightly. "Arigatou gozaimasu..." she whispered, "How did you endure this for so long, anata?? Itaiii..."
She just winced and hissed a bit, closing her eyes as tightly as she could. "I can hardly take two minutes..."

"Honto ni?" Itachi asked softly, taking one of Thom's hands in her own. "I think you're hiding something, Thom-kun... but I can't quite put my finger on what."

Ainsu sighed, "I don't know if he can take it, even though he knows she may die."

Meanwhile, Watari remained unconscious.
And even unconscious, he had randomly transformed back into a woman.

"I could endure because I was worried." Aled whispered, laying Shiori gently on a bed in one of the lab's side rooms.
He pulled a blanket over her, hoping to keep the woman warm.
"How are you feeling?"

Aled smiled softly, "I'm much better now that you're alright." he replied honestly. "I think... I think as long as I can control my emotions, I should be fine."
'For now, anyway...'
He sighed. "It was you who worried me... you were gone for a few moments, Shiori-chan..."

It took a few minutes, but soon, amber eyes opened to lock onto Yuki's own gaze.
"Yu... Yuki-chan..." Watari whispered, and then winced. "Kuso... Ima... Watashi wa onna desu ka?"

Ainsu winced, "I just hope Po-ar-kun isn't running into any problems... lousy time for a vacation..."

Itachi smiled, "Just keep telling yourself that." she replied with a wink.

Poking Aled... was like poking a tiger.
And it wasn't going to end well.
"Urusai..." the Tarnb-jin Ou spoke softly, standing and turning to Fir.
His usually kind eyes... well, kind once he was no longer possessed... were ice cold and piercing. "I've no idea where your minions are, Fir." oh yes, Fir didn't even get a name suffix... "At this moment, I could care less. What I do care about if you lowering your voice. Shiori-san's condition is delicate... hardly helped by your obnoxious voice."
