Trilla: o.o | Balloon~?
*The word seemed silly to the child, but at least she hadn't broke out into song over it, as Eecheb had over the Zippo lighter. It was a curious thing, just floating there, all the way up to the ceiling. Even when Mastema had spoken, Trilla's attention had stayed on the balloon, it seemed quite alien. Surely that was the feeling from the others aswell. Trilla would give the string a taunt tug, watching the balloon shoot down with it then rise back up to the ceiling once the string was released. This balloon thing, could possibly, be..... fun*

Than: *Trilla's apparent "affection" for the balloon certainly didn't fail to make Than smile. Than could easily explain to her why the balloon did what it did, but why ruin the magic of the child's curiosity this early* ^^ Hai.... that floating thing is called a balloon. ^^ If it weren't for that string it'd float all the way to the ceiling too.
Sho: *Not being a father himself, or anything of a close relative. Sho didn't exactly understand what was so interesting about a balloon. To him, it was a simply thing* ._.,?

*One thing that Sho probably failed to realize was that it was indeed only the children's first birthday. There were obviously things that were new to them, including the concept of a birthday, and all that went with it. They still hadn't fully explored their home, only a small bit of it. Objects and items they had never come across were still all about the citadel. They couldn't be expected to know about them or what they were right away, that would be like asking them what makes the barrier work, they just wouldn't know. So, in the meantime, Trilla would continue to tug on the string and perhaps in a bit she might grab hold of the balloon. It was possible, that her curiosity of the object might spread to her siblings*

Sho: *It wouldn't take long for Sho to get over his misunderstanding and just appreciate the fact that Trilla had an interest in the balloon. She was being cute about it, if anything*
Than: *Watching Trilla, Than's vision started to blurr once again, and faded out almost completely before coming back again. Than rubbed his eyes, getting a little concerned about why it was happening* >< Nnng.... *This had happened at least twice before, and Than wasn't sure if it was something serious or not* ._.,
*Mastema would keep his eyes on Trilla for a while longer, before letting out a "hmm" and turning to the door*
Slayer: Ah, do pardon me for my undue tardiness, my dear neighbors. I hope you are all well *Slayer would make his statement clearly as he waltzed through the door, a black cane in his left hand. Despite the cane, he obviously walked upright and without fatigue. Anyone looking at him and knowing of his relatively near end-of-life wouldn't have ever guessed it could be true. He seemed quite chipper*

*There would be several eyes transfixed upon Slayer once he walked into the room. Some of curiosity, others greeting, but all fixed upon him. Trilla was still playing with the balloon string when Slayer came in, and had wrapped it around her hand pulling the balloon along before turning to look as Slayer aswell. Having seen Slayer's picture aswell, when looking at the citadel manifest, Trilla knew who he was or again at least his name; the child's eyes sparkled brightly, she seemed to beam with energy*

*Mastema would be the first to return Slayer's greetings* Welcome old friend.... I am glad you could make it to the festivities
Slayer: And I, dear lord, am also overjoyed to be allowed to be here. It's good to see you again, though I should say it would be much more joyous if you were joining your family at the table rather than attaching yourself to another window.
*Mastema would laugh lightly at the comment* I suppose I must admit I should be else where *With that, Mastema would leave the window side and make his way to the table*
Sho: Holy crude o-O..... you tore him away from the window.... that's like hell freezing over.
*Mastema would snort at the comment, obviously bemused by it* Oh hush. I am not so attached to a design of glass.....
Than: ^^ That's my job! xp
*Slayer, Mastema, Sho, and Thanatos would all laugh to different degrees at the outburst*
Slayer: *calming down from his laughter, Slayer would remain standing beside the table, his height more than obvious* Ah... to laugh. *He would follow that up by turning to Nana and her children* Lady Nana, I'm overjoyed to see you and your children. My best wishes to all, young lady Trilla, young lord Eecheb, and young lord Micha. *Nodding lastly to Micha, Slayer would specifically address him* And I do say, my young lord, you have indeed grown since our last meeting
Sho: >> *blinking* You met Micha too?
Slayer: Indeed... I had the pleasure of the young lord's company one fine afternoon.

It's nice to finally see you again aswell.
*Slayer was by far the tallest person the children had ever seen, he was even bigger than Mastema. Dwarfed in size, the children would look up to Slayer, Trilla finally breaking the silence between them. It appeared already that Slayer knew all of their names. Micha would of course simply stare as he always did, no more excitable than usual, but it seemed he was certainly well traveled. Upon hearing Slayer's name Eecheb would become far more interested in the man. Afterall, Sho had said that Slayer had to be the strongest one there, something the boy aspired to. Even if he didn't speak, it seemed like Micha was quite social having met both generals first, it made Nana happy to see him meeting people and getting aquainted*
Trilla: ~ o___o ~ You're Slayer...!
Micha: . . .
Eecheb: o.o | He's Slayer? Awe...

Slayer: *Shaking his head at Mastema, Slayer would make a brief statement which Nana might choose to inquire about later* Honestly, must you and Twilight be so similar at times with your windows *Slayer would adjust his monocle when his name was pronounced even before introducing himself by Trilla* My word, Lord Mastema, have you been teaching your daughter your telepathic abilities.
*Mastema would find the notion very amusing. With Trilla's physical energy, Mastema hadn't put too much thought into teaching Trilla telepathy; although, that wasn't to say that Trilla hadn't shown signs of being able to access some higher level of consciousness. Not only had she seemingly been told before anyone had said anything that something was happening, but she was probably the only one capable of understanding her silent brother* Nothing of the sort. She has, however, taken it upon herself to know who is and is not welcome in this citadel. *Mastema took a seat on the other side of Nana from Eecheb, and Eecheb probably wouldn't be able to see him unless he leaned to peer around Nana*
Slayer: Ah~ I see. *chuckling and turning back to Trilla, Slayer would bow slightly to all three of the children* ^^ Indeed, my name is Slayer. Lady Trilla, I applaude your proactive decision to learn my name. Lord Micha I have already acquainted myself with. *Slayer would then turn and nod to the captivated Eecheb. Though he was making some eye contact with the boy, and was overbearing in height, Eecheb probably wouldn't find Slayer any bit condescending* And you must be Eecheb. It's my pleasure to me ^^ And I wish you and both your siblings and happy first birthday. *Slayer was similar to Mastema in some ways that he talked, but the difference was that Slayer was more adept at speaking informally and changing his tone of speech depending on who he spoke to*
Sho: *He was still quietly chuckling at what Trilla had said, probably confusing Slayer as much as she had startled him when he first arrived*
Than: ^^ Go ahead and sit down Slayer-sama. *Thanatos would offer the seat by him and Sho*
Slayer: Ah, Thank you Lord Thanatos; don't mind if I do *Slayer would casually walk around and take one of the seats*

*If Nana did inquire later, it would be something disscussed in passing. Nana never really had noticed Twilight's love for simply sitting by windows. Indeed Mastema was the same, always staring to, or out of their bedroom window. In fact that alone made the Mind make sense. A room who's walls seemed to be completely made up of windows. Nana would also likely inquire into how Slayer knew Twilight, but that could wait. Mastema had not been teaching Trilla but she had shown some sort of ability early on. If practiced, and tested then strengthend who knows what Trilla might be capable of. Eecheb was quite unlikely to "try" to look at Mastema. Slayer might note such behavior from the boy and inquire to Mastema later. Trilla wasn't quite sure what proactive meant, but it seemed to be a possitive word in this case. Wouldn't one guess, it only made her excitment level increase more so. Eecheb would nod to Slayer when spoken to, he still seemed in awe and probably would be for a while, or at least until food was parked in front of him. But oh the dread to follow, the children hadn't been versed on proper table mannors. One would only hope they would attempt to keep the food in their mouth, not speak with food in their mouth, not make a complete and total mess of themselves and their clothes. It would be nothing short of embarrassing otherwise*

*The children no doubt would respond in kind later to Slayer's well wishings on their first birthday. With Slayer's arrival, Eecheb had moved his attention away from the earlier comments made by both Sho and Thanatos. Slayer was probably nearest Trilla now as she was only a seat or two away from Sho. Balloon cords would likely make some noise as they twisted and turned. Nana would speak again after everyone was seated*

*At the very least Eecheb and Trilla would look at eachother from across the table. They seemed to have nothing better to do other than play with balloon strings or stare at new faces. Everyone there was so much bigger than they were, and talked about things they didn't know anything about. It wasn't like they could add to the discussion really. Sadly this might be the same later on if they attended the confrence Mastema had proposed. All the adults knew what they were talking about, but the children... simply didn't. Being directed about like musicians in an orchistra, the children would simply follow the flow, knowing no better. Since Mastema was likely facing Trilla across from him, he would see her nod for both herself and Eecheb. It was likely Micha didn't mind, afterall he didn't speak a word, or show many other signs often for that matter*

*With a light nod, Nana would call upon Zio to deliver the first cake, with a single candle lit. If placed in the middle of the table, then perhaps both Eecheb and Trilla would have a shot at blowing it out with their combine breath. The cake would be of moderate size, since the group seated at the table was well large enough. A second cake was in reserve in case seconds were requested. The cake was an ice cream cake, and had a simple border, backing and chocolate shavings on the top of it. The children's names were spelt out on top in a sweet and sugary gel, the candle was at the top of the list of names*

Zio: *The screen would appear at one end of the table, as not to interfere with anyone's view* Affirmative, Lady Nana. Processing. *It would only take a few moments for the cake to appear in roughly the center of everyone at the table. The relatively large cake would be facing a direction such that the listed names would be readible to just about all of the children, if they stood up far enough*
Than: *Than would blink at the cake. In all truth, it was the first time he'd seen a birthday cake as well, having not attended any other birthdays, much less indulged in treats at such parties. He found it quite a interesting sight* Oh wow....
Sho: Looks delicious ^^
Slayer: I agree..... something indeed. *Slayer also noticed that the candle wasn't lit yet* Well now, we'll have to light that some how.
Than: Hmm..... I... I think I can do that ^^;;
*Mastema grinned, curious as to what creative way Than would spark a flame* Well then, by all means, the honor is yours Thanatos.
Than: ^^ Arigatou.... *With everyone watching him, Than held up his open palm slightly. This was the first time he'd attempted this trick in a while. Slowly, Than's golden energy would begin to swirl in his hand, the only difference from any of his other spectacles was that the aura was slightly paler than usual. Soon enough, the familiar sight of Than's golden aura butterfly would be easily seen on the tip of Than's finger. With the butterfly formed, it took flight and hovered above the cake for a moment, seeming almost perfectly lifelike. After a few moments, the butterfly settled on the tip of the candle fuse, just lingering. In a miniature swirl of energy, the butterfly would dissipate, leaving a gently burning flame atop the candle. Than just exhaled in relief at successfully pulling off the small feat*
Slayer: *Slayer would lightly clap at the artistic display* How pleasant....
Sho: Not to sound little or anything, but that was soooo cool o__o

*The children of course didn't follow, but they would once the candle was lit. The flame would dance back and forth, waiting to be put out again by the children. It had been quite some time since Thanatos' aura butterflies had been seen. The last time one was likely around the children was when they were still quite small. Nana hadn't seen one for quite a while too, and would probably make Thanatos blush when she started to lightly clap at the spectical along with Slayer, and Thanatos' success*

*The light from the butterfly and then the flames would shine brightly in the backs of the children's eyes. They were so lucky, and hopefully they would know it some day, and sooner rather than later*

Ah.... eheh .///. *Than would indeed blush at the attention paid to him after his technique. As much as Than enjoyed being around these people, attention from them sometimes got to him quite easily*
Sho: *Sho would just join in the light clapping for a moment, only adding to Than's blushing*
Than: Ah... Arigatou gozaimasu, everyone ^^; *Quickly regaining his composure* Hnn.... so who's going to blow out the candles then?
*Mastema was more interested in what Than had just done. Apparently Thanatos hadn't been as lackadaisical in training as he'd thought. The fact that Than could manipulate his aura so precisely to produce a flame showed he'd gained some capacity for control, and it interested Mastema greatly*

*Both Trilla and Eecheb lifted an arm into the air in unison and called out also in unison after Thanatos had posed his question. Of course neither one wanted to give the other an inch. It looked like they could very well start a fight over who would blow the candle out, instead of working together*

*Again, Nana would catch the look between the children. It was something that needed to be disolved quickly or one or both of them may get hurt. Plus being sent to their rooms for being bad, on their birthday would really sting. Nana would clear her throught ever so slightly before adressing the situation before it got out of hand*
^^;
*Ahem...* Perhaps both of you should give it a try. As far away from the candle as you both are, together you can blow the candle out more easily. What do you say to that, hnn?
*Both Trilla and Eecheb were still giving eachother a look, but it seemed a better compromise. They would just have to huff and puff their hardest, trying to best eachother in one single act. It seemed simple enough*
