...we ended up falling asleep at 9 instead of going to see Watchmen. Oh well, maybe Friday.

*sigh* I want my other coocoon back before it or the black coral thingie evolves. Although I'll probably be lucky to get it back at all. Every other time I've filed a report about a missing item it's "We can't find any record of you ever owning one." Yeah... I'd only had that angelic camisole since 2003. There should TOTALLY have been no record. rolleyes

Dear Alloy Entertainment,
STOP RAPING MY CHILDHOOD! If you want to make a shitty teen TV drama that's a hybrid of Twilight, True Blood, and the O.C., then go for it! I don't give a damn! But don't buy the rights to call it The Vampire Diaries and drag the books through the mud. This is... unrecognizable! You've cut out half the interesting characters, added paper-thin cliches to replace them, and changed half of their last names. You've irrevocably changed their backstories. You've added drugs and sex to make it edgy while completely cutting out all that WAS edgy about the original series. This is some of the worst trash I have ever seen! I'm going to hunt your writers, directors, cast, and crew down and make sure they never ever reproduce if this tripe gets greenlit after the CW sees the pilot. ******** YOU AND YOUR WHOLE FAMILY!

He got promoted from President to a VP of something higher.
LOL, I know that doesn't make sense, but it is actually a promotion.
I'm so proud of him. Despite what most people probably think about corporate men, he didn't make it this far by backstabbing and stepping on others... he is just an intelligent, talented and optimistic guy who is passionate about his work. And everything else in life, really.
You know, it's funny how much a girl needs her father. Even though I was living away from home and it technically didn't make a difference, I felt lost just knowing that he was overseas. Even had to keep a picture of me as a baby with my parents on my desk. (Pathetic, huh?) Maybe I felt like I had to "grow up" a little faster to help my mom out or something. Anyway, I'm happy he's coming back. Mom misses him so much.
