((;.; WAH!!! I'm sorry I didn't post! I thought you were supposed to post, Tuna! I didn't see yours... I feel bad now... I'm gonna make up for not posting for two days!!))
Nova was sound asleep as the other ate. Nothing in the world would be able to wake him up with how deeply he was sleeping. It was the best he had ever slept in his whole life, and it was not even in a bed! In his sleep, it was easier for him to make it look like he was breathing because his brain was telling his lungs to move. They needed to. Unlike when he was awake, his brain really did not need more than blood to live, including air. And since he did not have blood to sustain him in sleep, his brain fed off the oxygen in the air. So, anyone walking by would not think he was dead or anything, but they would look at him and think something bad. Like, maybe he was drunk and the sleeping it off in the cafe. He grinned in his sleep. Those were the thoughts that were going through his mind. He had asked Mitsuki before what a dream was because he was unsure of whether or not humans and vampires experienced the same kind of things during their sleep. The images of sounds, memories or tragedy and love. They were all welcomed by the vampire as nothing more than that... Memories. He did not have 'nightmares'. Though, reliving his past tragedies would be considered nightmares, but he never moved once, never spoke or mumbled like most people do when they experience a nightmare. He just sat there resting his head in his arms at the table. As soon as Mitsuki finished his food, Nova would wake up. He was automatically set to wake up when the other was done. How did he know, though? Mitsuki would probably wake him.

((It's alright it tends to happen to everybody. ^^))
Mitsuki had sighed after finishing his second tuna melt. He sipped his already third cup of ice coffee. He looked over at Nova and noticed the other's chest breathed in and out. He looked thoughtful, do vampires need to breath like humans? He needed to ask Nova that when he wakes up. "Is he alright?" asked one of the waitresses as she came to dropped off the bill. Mitsuki nods, "Yeah, long night." He answered, the waitress just nods and gave him a wink. He watched her walk off as he finally understood what that wink was. He blushed red and shook his head, "Perverts...." he murmured as he turned and shook Nova, "Come on, Nova.....I'm done." He finished off his last drink and paid the bill.

(( It doesn't happen often to me... ;.; )) Nova stirred a bit when he was shook, but it was only when he heard Mitsuki's voice that he woke up. His grey eyes were tinted a light pink color as he sat up and rubbed his weary eyes. Usually, whenever he was dreaming something pleasent his eyes turned the pinkish color. It was like he was blushing with his eyes. He must have dreamt of something wonderful... He shook his head to rid his mind of the thoughts and looked at Mitsuki who had his own pinkish tint to his face. Nova tilted his head slightly. "Why's your face pink? You aren't capable of sharing my dreams, are you!?" he asked and his face turning pale red. If Mitsuki was able to do such things then... No! Nova tugged on his white-grey strands of hair and whimpered.

Mitsuki's eyes widen, "What? No! I've heard of finishing other's sentences, but not sharing dreams......." He looked the other direction and answered, "Some waitress made a comment earlier.....about you and I. More like a suggestion." He answered as he blushed darker at that impication. He sighed and stood up, "Come on....Let's go before that waitress comes by again."

"Oh good," Nova sighed with relief. "I'm sure you wouldn't want to have shared my dream, anyway." He shut his eyes and yawned loudly before looking at Mitsuki. The waitress said something? It must have been something important to make Mitsuki blush like that. "What about you and I?" he asked and watched Mitsuki stand up. He did the same and nodded, still not knowing what the other was so embarassed about. He hated not knowing what was going on! He tugged at Mitsuki's shirt and frowned. "I wanna know what you're talking about. Will you tell me when we leave?"

Mitsuki sighed and walked out of the cafe, he really didn't want to explain the other's assumptions. As they walked, he tried to find a way to explain it. "Well, she asked me if you were okay.....so I said, that you had a long night.....so she mistook it as something else....." He wasn't sure if Nova understood what he meant by that, so just in case he put it in even simpler tone. "In other words.......she thought we were mating....." He turned and looked away with a red face. That was the only turn he could use that was approperate at the time.

Nova almost fell on his face as he tripped over own foot. He caught himself, however, and stared at the back of Mitsuki's head. A little snicker came from the vampire as he jumped to the other's side. "That was what my dream was about!!" he exclaimed and grabbed his stomach and began to laugh. "Maybe she can share dreams..." he mumbled to himself. "What an invasion of privacy!!" Nova crossed his arms and made an upset face as he just stood there. The nerve of some people!

Mitsuki nearly shouted, "WHAT?!" Now his face was deep red as he stared at the other. Not only was he shocked that Nova had a dream like that, but how openly he admits. He knew that the sharing of dreams is something that doesn't happen with humans, but to admit something like that openly like that. He had to give Nova a lot of credit for not blushing as red as he was right now.

Nova looked at Mitsuki in great confusion. Did he say something wrong? Hopefully not. Maybe Mitsuki just was not used to him saying such things. Was it his fault he dreamt it? Nova poked Mitsuki's shoulder and frowned. "I didn't say something wrong, did I? But, I do like the color of your face. It's almost as red as your blood," he said innocently and grinned. Those only added to how childish he was. He really did not know whether or not what he said was wrong, but he knew that he enjoyed his dream. Nova thought it was funny that he had a dream like that, actually. He laughed at it, but only to himself. He pulled on the other's arm and frowned. "Hey, hey... Mitsuki?"

Mitsuki sighed and tried to gain his normal color of his face. "No, Nova.....you didn't say anything wrong.....it's just....the way you said it...." He could feel the burning blush on his face. "It's just......ard for me to accept something like that from someone like you......" He tried to explain, "People normally don't say things like that out so openly....and this coming from you.....it's quite...erm.....shocking..."

"...Shocking...?" Nova mumbled in confusion. The way he said it. He said it like he said a lot of things. The still very confused vampire pointed to his head and frowned. "But, I say a lot of things others don't say 'cause it's like an impulse. I repeat the thoughts that go on in my head a lot," he said, trying to explain why he had said what he did. "That's why it's easy for me to be honest... 'Cause I say things I think. I usually get in trouble 'cause what I say isn't good." He sighed. His father, when abuse was not actually abuse, used to beat him whenever he said something that was not acceptable. He tried teaching Nova that saying what he thought was not exactly the best way to deal with things. The vampire stood there and looked at the human who still retained the color on his cheeks. "Do you understand me, Mitsuki?" he asked.

Mitsuki thought for a moment, "I see...so in order for you to be truely honest with someone....you tell them what's on your mind...Even if it's an answer that can get in into trouble...." He seemed to understand the concepts of Nova's situation. He also felt kinda bad, because that's the only way for Nova to stay honest. Although being honest sometimes is hard on a person, especially if they are a family member or friend. Color returned to Mitsuki's face, "Yeah...I kinda understand..."

Nova made a face. "It's better than lying! I hate lying," Nova said and turned away from Mitsuki, crossing his arms. It was not his only way, it was the way he liked it. He perferred speaking his mind. There was no power in the world that would stop him from that. In his opinion, it was better off being like that because people knew what he thought. That was just how he was. It was not an escape to say things he wanted to say, it was the way his mind worked and how it told him to do things. What he meant was that it was not the only way he was capable of telling people the truth, to be honest. He was sure Mitsuki did not fully understand what he said because he did not understand it himself even thought it was his own mind and his own speech. Shaking his head, Nova looked at Mitsuki. "You only understand a little, like me. Heh, so you think it's my only way of being honest? No... I just like speaking my mind. I don't care what people think about what I say. I care about what people think of me... Is that contradictory? Hmm... Maybe I only care what people see when they look at me." He was beginning to ramble on about useless trival things, but he was speaking his mind again, thinking out loud.

Mitsuki looked at the other as he rumbled on. He sighed, so he didn't fully understand yet. He was still learning more about the other little by little, after all he was human. He sighed and shook his head, "Come on...lets head back." He walked towards the direction of his house. Wonders on what to do once they get there. It's been awhile since he's been bored or has noting to do. He was always busy with something either with work or school work.

Armand wandered over to the videos and DVDs. As he picked up a zombie horror/comedy, he realized he didn't even know whether Icarus had a TV or a video/DVD player. The vampire shrugged to himself and mumbled something about a so called gift, then took a few steps further down the line. A whole bunch of vampire movies were next and Armand smiled. They weren't real, and yet the humans were so afraid when they watched them. Perfect movies to watch at midnight. He chuckled to himself, closing his eyes in a wider smile as he picked up the Van Helsing case and proceeded to the cash out. What a way to scare people. . . ? Make a movie then push the idea so well and hard that they believe.

"Of course, it's more or less your picture anyhow. Literally," Amerlie nodded and smudged the brush in the small dig out in the spot plate, fetching some more colour for her canvas. It looked half decent at least, but she could not get the eyes right. . . They kept slipping out of reach and eluding her everytime she thought she had the right hue. Sighing, she set the mixing plate and the cup of water on the grass then ushered Neruphial around where she was standing to look at it. "Ever looked in a white mirror?" She was talking about him seeing a painting of himself, although her words weren't always straight to the point.
