He grunted, "I did say or, you know. A step to adulthood I can see, completing a whole? No, that just seems wrong. I'm not one to usually judge cultures, but that doesn't sit well." He let out a sigh, shaking his head, "Whatever. You hven't seen my son around here have ya? Last I head his wife Kalie was in a bit of a spot. Heh, b*****d didn't even tell me they were getting married. I mean what the hell is that?"

*Mystina blinked* The last time I saw him he looked...rough... He was bloody... He'd been in a fight of sorts, I haven't seen him sense... Kalie was really bad off, he mentioned that she may not make it. *She hugged him* I hope they're both alright.

Tac leaned against her as she hugged him, "I should have visted them during my vacation...or...him...if it is indeed just him, Gods above forbid. People say its times like this that're good for drinkin. Too bad I can't stand the s**t." He let out a bit of a chuckle, "I'm sure they're fine, the both of them. He always did get scraped up a bit, even when just trying to get out the door in the mornings."

"God I feel old..."
PostPosted: Tue Jan 24, 2006 11:10 pm

*Mystina rubbed his back lightly and tilted her head* Meh! I've told you before, 'old' in my society is something to be respected. You've got more experience and can teach that way.*She hugged him again* I'm sure they're fine, and you could always give him a call when you get back home, right?

((I just had to majorly resist the urge to let her gnaw on him some. >_>; ))

Tac chuckled, "Didn't we observe that me touching phones makes them melt...or explode? Besides, I don't know what hospital she might have been taken to, not to mention I wouldn't know if they're even still there. It has been a while..."
PostPosted: Tue Jan 24, 2006 11:18 pm

*Mystina giggled* Well, not that I can recall, I didn't even see a phone until meeting you. I mean, we don't have that kind of thing in Faerie but I know humans use them a lot.

...Can't you let someone else call their house, or, does your son make phones explode too? *She grinned a little* I mean, I know police departments have other people working under them...so you could have one of them call their house... Or you could just stop by his house.

Tac chuckled nervously, "Well...he might, but calling him would require a long distance connection like you wouldn't believe. His home isn't on Gaia, some other plane of existance. I can't recall if I've actually been there or not...I'd have no idea where to look, he doesn't exactly invite me over for tea, ya know."
PostPosted: Tue Jan 24, 2006 11:57 pm

*Mystina tilted her head* Well... I don't have the slightest clue what a long-distance connection is, but, I can see how him being on one world or plane and you being on another would be a problem.. I suppose it's like when humans stumble into faerie. Sending messages out isn't possible at this point. The only way someone will find out if you're there is if they find someone with the sight...

You could always try methods like that, seek out a seeress, in your world and find out from her... If I'd had all of my training I could help... But I've only just began it so I wouldn't be much help to you.

Tac let out a sigh, "Remind me to never have anymore kids. Torment is enough to deal with as he is. Doesn't even tell me he got married, grr. Any more kids at my age would surely kill me, either that or the stress of it would."
PostPosted: Wed Jan 25, 2006 12:17 am

*Mystina grinned* I'll remind you.

Plus you get into enough trouble already, as does Tor, if there was another spawn-of-Tac it might cause the whole Cosmos to go crazy.

*She grinned, she was picking up more of Sent's sense of humor being around him. She started bouncing around Tac in a circle like a little kid*

Tac chuckled slightly, "I think you're more than enough of a kid to look after while I'm here." He grumbled a bit, "Second oldest without a doubt, and I hate it. I get to be the old guy all the time, even when I look in my twenties." He continued griping to himself, "'nother kid would likely turn out to be some sort of delinquent or stuck up, cop hating, self absorbed...person thats like those...things. Aw hell, I don't know."

((>.> Yes, dramatic irony is teh fun. >.>))

*Mystina grinned* True, I guess I am. And I told you, being old isn't a bad thing. I've told you before, women in Faerie seek out older men for a REASON! It just gives you an edge over the younger ones.

*She poked his tummy* Think about it, you get to be an older man, without LOOKING it. Or FEELING it, physically. Most Humans would love that!

Tac kept griping about it, regarldess, "Yeah, but you have any idea how long I've actually lived? Hmm? I. Want. To. Die. Sure, I'll live out this life, but when it ends, I want it to stop. People always think living forever is grand, but it gets damned boring, especially when you have to be reborn so many god damned times. I never want to see another diaper as long as I live. I'm not suicidal....I just don't want to come back again. Not for a while anyway."
PostPosted: Wed Jan 25, 2006 1:18 am

*Mystina nodded* I think I can understand it in a way.... Living for a long time get's tiring. I don't know how old you are exactly, but... you feel... I'm not sure how to describe it but you've been around a long time. A VERY long time as far as humans are concerned. A lifetime as far as the Fae are concerned.

For us, it's easier because we don't always remember the past lives we had... Not completely... Humans are very much alike, as in, they don't completely remember their past lives.

I guess it must be different for you, being what you are... *She tilted her head*

He let out a tired sigh as he walked over to find a chair, "I just want to rest is all. I thought the vacation might help, but it didn't." He plopped down, "Everything runs so slow...I sleep but never truly feel rested, I can never eat more than a single doughnut a day. My very soul is tired, Mysti. Its been tied to a body far too long without any significant rest. Body after body after body."
