Okay, she reasoned. It's not a date. It's...an outing between freinds kinda thing? "Um, sure I guess. Sometime...." She gave Zell a look, then back to Onyx. Mayve he was under the influence of booze?
Roarke laughed. "I have thought of it, tall one. And let me assure you, the next three years are going to be very, very intense."

"I haven't drank anything today at all. in fact...only think i've eaten was a sugar cookie Roarke gave me."
Then his ears perked up.
"Okay, then it's a..." hmm. date might not be a good word. "..deal."

"We'll go out to a play sometime."

Zell snorted out loud. "not interested in fighting a Boozer."
The pups, including zell, all gathered around Roarke.
"We get to start new trainging?"
"when? when can we start?"
"We're goignt o get even stronger!"

Roarke rubbed at his chin. "Oh, I'd say in about another month or two of the training we're doing now before you are ready to move onto magic stuff."

each pup turned from Roarke, their adrenalin pumping from their earlier surprise.

Onyx looked at the pups first..not really wanting to answer that right away.
"Ever fought someone a hundred times stronger than you, with at least two thousand lifetimes worth of combat experience? who's three times faster?"
Hey, he'd held his own agains his dad..kinda..sorta...not really. but it did sound impressive. then sheepishly back toward Aella.
"Um..well..I used it to make your jewelry. apparently I can transumte some substances."
Oh he was gunna get it now.

Aella screamed and shook the bracelet she had slipped on. "I'M WEARING YOU'RE BLOOD?"

Kuro went after Aella. cathing her head before it hit the floor. and bretahing a sigh of relief at the same time.
Zell wined, the others didnt; really care. "But... teaching... uh... lesson?....to boozer?"

Onyx growled lightly at Zell, and got himself up. he was pretty big, even for them, and showed his claws lightly.
"I am not a boozer, mutt."
Before he picked Aella up from Kuro.
"I'll take her to her room. my fault she passed out anyway."
yeah that had a dejected, 'I screwed up again' sound to it. so he moved past them, buffering Zell back with his wing, and started on his way to Aella's room to at least put her in a bed and not leave her on the floor.

Zell grumbled and dropped to the floor. He cought Mik's eye and smiled. Doing one hadned psuh ups he pulled a long wing feather from inside his shirt. he smiled wider. He had won in hi smind.
The others hid their smiles and turned back to Roarke. "Well, shall we start wrappin gup this moth;s trainign then?" said Jude, arther pleased with himself adn the pups.
