*Again it was uncertain if the beast could really understand at all. Picking up on the general atmosphere given off by a person was one thing, but understanding a language not of your own, was another. Most of the time when spoken to, there seemed to be some strange hostility directed towards itself by others. The reasons for this, the creature probably could not comprehend. The only ones who spoke and were non-agressive in a verbal sense or physical one, were any of the children including Thanatos to Slayer. But Tyrsais, Albert, Mastema, Akai, Zenogais... all of these people had done something or threatend to do so somehow. Hopefully Sho would not be amoung those on the list of bad, though he had said "I won't hurt ya if you come out now", that didn't mean that Sho wouldn't hurt the creature. The shadow reflecting off the blade would move back into the other shadows a bit, it seemed to not like the reflection of light*

Sho: *Blinking at the move, he was a little puzzled. Perhaps it would be better to put his sword away. Sho started to do so when a flash of light hit him in the eye, light reflected from a lamp post off his sword* >_o Hmm..... *It was then that Sho put a couple things together. The being following him seemed accustomed to shadows, and he had pretty much just shone light in its face. Sheathing his sword, Sho got an idea. Sho walked over to the nearest lamp post and opened what seemed to be a box on the side of it; he pressed a switch in that box and the light turned off. There was now a large patch of darkness around Sho, and his eyes easily adjusted to the dark* That better? >> I can turn off more lights if you need me to.....

*Sho couldn't even be certain what was following him, and yet he seemed to be willing to accomidate it. A completely different take from Albert and Tyrsais, who would rather attack first and ask later. Such past reactions might have even made the creature somewhat recluse? There had been a span of more than a month were it just seemed to fall off the map all together, before surfacing again. Still, the darkness was a little more inviting. The dark patch of shadow would move again, into another dark spot along a wall, across from Sho. It was obviously different from the other shadows around it and gave off a static look, with a slight tint of blue. There was still no verbal sound from the creature, but that didn't necessarily mean much. The large eye that a few of the citadel residence were accustomed to seeing sometimes was also not present at this time*

::Tyrsais would move slowly around trying to move toward partial cover. He would attempt to find a location where he could not be seen by the creature by Sho would be able to make him out. He would simply stay silent nodding lightly to the General. His hand was on his sword, but it was still in its sheath::

Sho: *Sho would take note of Tyr, but seemed puzzled as to why the man was hiding* o_0; ooookaaay.....*Sho's eyes were sharp enough to tell navy from black in the dead of night, so seeing the blue tinted shadow move was easy for him* That's more like it..... I think it's dark enough for you to come out all the way though. ^^; If I remember anything about shadow creatures, it's that they can exist ouside of shadows on walls

*Sho's words may have been stirring-- but, the creature remained in its current form. Most likely to help protect itself from physical injury, like when Tyrsais had made a gash in its hand when in the small shop in the west, some time earlier. Such things were not desireable, so it seemed to be just something of a preventative measure. Sho probably didn't know that Tyrsais had past dealings with the creature before him, though he seemed ready again to attack, even if the creature had done nothing. Both would probably get a slight surprise when the silence was broken by a quick tempo of bongo drumbing, at least six to eight beats per second. Hopefully it wouldn't be inturpeted as something agressive, but who knew. At the same time the shadow seemed to flatten out on the street, having moved from its secondary hiding space of sorts*

::Tyr looked around looking for the source of the drumming he had heard it before from the creature. He would attempt to note if there were any strange magical forces at work around the sound. He pulled about 3 inches of the blade clear from its sheath however did not attack yet. If Sho wanted him to do anything he would ask him::

Sho: ._., drums........ *Sho shivered. Plain, beating, drum sounds always bothered him, at least when they were used like this. The rapid beating was rather alarming, but Sho really didn't know what to make of it, so he just watched the blot of shadow move. The source of the sounds didn't seem to be locatable, nor was it an issue that crossed Sho's mind right now* Bro really needs to tell me what IS in these streets.

*There was certainly no magical force at work here. The drum-like sounds seemed to be a natural occuring sound created by the creature, as odd as it was. Why the creature made the sounds and for what reasons however, who could say? Tyrsais had tried to find a pattern, or some sort of message in the music upon the first encounter, but that too seemed to produce no real results. He seemed ready to strike at any time. For Sho, Mastema could not tell him what he did not know, but when the creature did surface, readings of many types were probably taken to try and determin both what, and why it was there, what it was, and any other sort of information that could be gathered. There was never any strong odur of any type, but the sounds, and the heal, that was a different matter. The drumming would probably sound like it was coming from all sides. It was localized, but that didn't mean it couldn't and wouldn't be noticed from farther away. Though it was a big citadel, one could still manage to find another living soul if they looked hard enough. The shadow would move a little closer to Sho, the drum tempo remaining the same until it stopped, leaving the area in total silence. That might make anyone worryat least a little more*

::Tyr flinched slightly as the drums stopped removing his blade the rest of the way from its sheath making a slight sound. He would move forward slightly but still waited for the word from Sho to attack the creature.::

Sho: That's better~ *the silence seemed more pleasant to Sho than the bongos had so, he wasn't much unnerved. Watching the shadow get closer to him, Sho rested the tip of his sheath on the ground and placed both of hit hands, one on top of the other, on top of the hilt tip. After that, he squatted down and rested his chin on top of his hands, just watching and waiting for the creature to get closer*

Xol continued to make his way towards the Citadel. He made a mental note that Shadow was in the areal, but that was the extent of his interest in the man. The main focus as of right now was towards the Citadel and what lay on the other side massing power. KB. Surely he wasn't thinking of trying to blow a hole in the barrier... that had already been tried and failed multiple times. Any time he had tried, Mastema had just formed a hole in the barrier to let the energy pass through. Interesting. Well... he would see how KB's effort pandered out.

"I will never know what you saw in KB..."

It was more of a rhetorical statement than anything. Not meaning to be anwsered and yet it was in some way. On that same thought though, Xol wondered if he should land the killing blow on KB or let Hes do it. More than likely she would take more pleasure out of it so he didn't see why not. However, he would make sure she didn't vaporize the body entirely as he wanted to run some tests on it.

*It seemed that the creature didn't notice Tyrsais, perhaps good for him and not for the creature. The shadows would stop, about a meter away from Sho and stay. There was slight movement in the patch of shadow, perhaps it was pondering whether or not to change its shape and become something more physical in its form, something that could be touched like a hand or finger*

Sho: >> *Sho was equally oblivious to anything Tyr wanted to do, and he assumed that Tyr was just watching out of his own curiosity. Sho had yet to draw the connection between this creature and that which had been wrapped around the top of the tower just some time ago* Well dang you really are a timid thing aren't you ^^;
