Its a murder case. Guy shot his wife and two children in the living room while they ate dinner and watched the simpsons. Then the guy tosses the gun in the freezer in the garage and sits back down to finish his meal and catch an episode of Law & Order. The police found the gun, but they forgot to include the GARAGE on the warrant.

*Luke looks at Alex with some respect. That case is high profile. That says something of his status, and his skills as a lawyer. Luke nods, solemn but interested.* He was sitting in there with the dead bodies watching TV? Is that where the cops found him?

Yup. This b*****d is COLD. Dead ******** cold. When the cops came in, he simply got up and turned off the TV, then held out his hands to be cuffed.

Then, the gun's inadmissable, but so what? You've got motive. You've got him at the scene of the crime, sitting right on the couch with their dead bodies. He basically asked them to arrest him.
It doesn't sound like that a hard case to convict, even without the gun.

One would think. But the man has OLD money backing him. I'm talking about the kind that can purchase an entire firm to back his a** up. They have him as the tragic victim in this. Drumming up rumors that the wife was having an affair, that she beat him, that she threatened to run away with the children. Basically, they're setting up an insanity defense.
