Indeed. The easiest comparison would be a sort of revitalizing potion. I had found it useful in the past, and I felt Micha would benefit from having his energy back. *Mastema chuckled in a casual manner* I would not have given it to him if I believed there would be any danger. I assure you there are no side effects on the boy. *Nodding to Nana, Mastema would start backing up into the room just as slowly as he had been a moment ago. His hold on Nana was much more secure this time around; she wouldn't suffer another fall like before*

......potion?
*Such titles were usually reserved for items one would find in video games, that replenished life. Granted, the liquid did have somewhat of a similar effect on Micha, but Mastema had also made clear that it would be somewhat temporary, giving him only enough energy to do a few things he'd like before he'd need to rest again. Micha had opted to eat and then rest right away in order to build his strength, but with Eecheb's recent sleep invasion for the moment the resting part was put off. So one would think it to be the same for Nana. Helping her recover at night, so she could push herself durring her waking hours to get more results, then continuing on again in a loop, until she was better again. In the meantime, Nana would continue to walk with Mastema*

Indeed. When one is awake the effects of the drink are much more short lived, but if the person is resting, then the effects work on any damage or lack of strength in areas of the body. Aside from that, I do have another, perhaps more effective way to help you rehabilitate, if you would be willing to try it. *Mastema grinned softly, trying to have Nana put more faith in his ability* The first anniversary of the children's birth is only one week away, and I intend to do everything possible in those seven days to have you well enough to spend the entire day with the children. *Mastema obviously wasn't oblivious to Nana's wishes, and seemed devoted to helping her reach her goal in time*

*Mastema had on many an occassion proven his abilities to heal and help heal others were powerful, and Nana herself had been healed by Mastema on an occassion or two. She had nothing to doubt when it came to his ability to heal, so what did she have to lose? The children's first birthday, what an event that would be. There was much planning to do, but unfortunately as she was, Nana wouldn't be able to help out much, but perhaps Thanatos would enjoy treating his younger siblings*

It is a more scientific approach. Essentially, via several paddings, small electrical impulses can be sent through the body. Subsequently, muscles contract as a result. If these pulses are controlled, then the muscles in the body can be exercised without receiving a command from the nervous system. I could use such a method for you while you are asleep; the result would be that your muscles would gain back their strength in much faster time. Though your cardiorespiratory endurance may not be increased so much, the pain in your limbs would almost completely diminish, and you would recover your endurance simply from doing what you would normally do in a day. Because of my telepathy, I could actually do it without pads, and use simply the natural impulses in your body. Of course, it would begin after you are asleep, and I assure you it would not interfere with your rest in any way. *So basically Mastema's plan was to cause Nana's muscles to exercise without her being awake. Such a plan seemed quite effective in terms of gaining back strength. Mastema would continue walking with Nana. At their slow pace, it could almost seem as if they were dancing*

KB would appear, on the far side of the barrier. Opposite to that where a majority of the fighting had previously occurred. Glancing about, the six eyes that were on KB's head would glance around at different things. This area was in considerably better shape than the other side, though it still had been torn up by the outlying effects of other blasts. Regardless of the scenary, KB moved to the barrier and tapped it with one arm. he didn't expect anything to happen, other than the feeling of tapping on a very solid wall. Of course, something was itching at the back of his mind. Something, but he couldn't tell what it was. Something ever so familiar.

Hnn...
*It sounded good, more so because Mastema would use Nana's own natural impulses. If they were of an outside interference there might have been problems. Namely the same problem that was caused by Zenogais when he mildly jolted Nana several times, when she was in the early stages of pregnancy. It..... could work. Though in a way that would be cheating, wouldn't it? But Nana wanted to be well enough to attend the children's first birthday, she had to try anything that could help*

All right. I think I can agree with that, it seems sound.

Very well.... I will see to that at the appropriate time. *the electro therapy wasn't so much cheating as it was an alternative method. Though muscular strength would be increased, cardiovascular endurance would still need to be built up on its own. What good was all the extra strength if it could not be used long term. Still, the increased strength was something on its own* Hmm..... there is one other event which I forgot to mention earlier. As it would seem, Alpha Zenogais will be leaving the citadel in the near future for an undetermined amount of time. *It seemed like a rather sudden development indeed*
Proto: *Once again, the silent guard's sensors were picking up a familiar, hostile being outside the barrier. In case his assistance was needed, Proto began heading out to that point in the barrier*
Than: *In the room on floor 77, Thanatos was being unusually active in his sleep. He was turning and groaning constantly; sweat was starting to bead off all areas of his body. Tyr's virus was having a severely quicker effect because of Than's half angelic nature* >< Mmn......ngg....!!

Both sets of arms shrugged, as KB moved away from the barrier. Several yards away, he'd turn to face it once more. He did after all need some amount of distance for the operation that was about to take place. Chuckling, now that his voice had returned, he waited and focused his mind. An extradimensional space would be needed to carry the proper equipment, though such a thing being brought with him could cause devastating effects. Shrugging, he simply began to cycle through the available options.

Hnn...? No... I seem to remember you said something about that, the last time I was awake, even if it wasn't for all too long.
*Mastema had mentioned Zenogais earlier on, shortly after the previous attack, when the children were with her in the room. She happened to remember luckily, so Mastema wouldn't have to go into detail about it. Still, Nana wasn't completely sure how she felt about it. One one hand it was good news for her, no Zenogais to harass her or cause her bodily harm or bruises. On the other hand, that meant one less protector at the citadel, and who knew what reaction Trilla or Eecheb might have. Even if they didn't know their compatriate Zeph was really Zenogais, hearing about him leaving would get a reaction no doubt*

He had stepped only one foot into the forest at the Citadel's fields end before feeling KB's signature off behind him. There was no way the man hadn't felt Xol's aura as it wasn't like he was trying to hide it. Either KB was going for some kind of quick attack or had figured out a way into the barrier. The latter was something he himself had figured out long ago, D's wormhole skills had considerably helped, but nonetheless it was a skill he had posessed for quite some time. One would find it odd with Xol's previous amount of hatred that he wouldn't have used the skill as quickly as possible to enact revenge. However, much to the contrary... he was not brash and a mindless tactician as one would think.
Xol turned on his heel to face the Citadel. For now he would wait here. The moment that KB broke into the barrier though, he would be right at his heels. Not that he didn't mind killing KB outside the barrier himself, it just seemed easier to let Mastema's defenses soften him up while he looked around first.

Heswina's armored figure was silhouetted up against the dark backdrop of the forest. Her metalic armor gleaming agaisnt the gentle light as she folded her arms over her metalic chest plate and leaned her shoulder up against a nearby tree. She wanted to enact revenge on the foul creature that had taken her life and desecrated her corpse, but at the same time she didn't want too. Her life, or rather her lives, had always been filled with violence, pain, and suffering. She was always schemeing, always manuvering and manipulating everyone. Always lieing and decieving, cunning and brutal.
Mastema really hadn't done anything too her, quite the opposite really. She wanted to die and he had provided the means to her demise. That seemed like so long ago. Almost on a subconcious reaction she unfolded her arms and gently rubbed at her left wrist with her right, armored, finger tips. There were scars, of course, and every time she removed her armor she saw them, saw her weakness, and wanted to be rid of them. Pain was no longer a factor for her, she had dismissed the physical sensations of pain and pleasure in her long months of solitude.
Her eyes, one icy blue and the other a dead white and hidden behind bangs of gold, bore in on Xol's back as he watched the Citadel. She sighed at his back side, such an omnipotent individual. Capable of neither compassion or love he was, in her opinion, the perfect killing machine. He had power enough to decemate entire armies with his anti-matter orbs, capable of lifting and hurling weights exponentially times his own. He was cunning and swift with his mind, always darting from one thought to the next in a never ending ploy to pervent her from tracking his thoughts. And because she was unable to securely lock a hold on him he had grown and adapted to her magics, building barriers strong enough to keep her from touching his mind again. Yes, he was defiantely a perfect killing machine. The gauntlet was a little tacky, she much rather perfered his sword the Einlanzer or what ever it was called, but she supposed that it was more effective then the blade. Five smaller weapons capable of independant actions, or so it seemed, was harder to deflect or dodge then a single, larger, weapon. A very, very, crafty individual Xol was. She wondered, breifly, how many people really understood that Xol was neither brute nor genious, but a perfect meld of the two.

Xol had known Heswina had been in the forest and more specifically behind him, watching him for some time now. He had sensed her long before the gentle ticklings of her mind warping had alerted him to her presence. However, he had far since adpated to her methods. If there were one thing he could harp on himself about, it was his ability to adapt. To survive. Not taking anything from Hes though, she was a survivor in her own right. She most probably could match him scar for scar and he wasn't just referring to the physical ones.
He turned his head to the side and a multicolored eyes focused on the woman to his rear. The moon gave him a supernatural silhouette and made his crooked grin seem more manical that it should have. A lone fang poked out over his bottom lip as he looked at his grizzled former lover. It looked like she had been through hell and back and back to hell again before showing up leaning against the tree behind him. The feelings he had towards her were not of a lover, or a friend, but were the same feelings he had towards Mastema. A mutual evil b*****d. Or in her case... b***h. "To what do I owe the please, Heswina dear?"
Xol cooed as seductively as that first day they met, his face warping to more of a sneer as he locked a multicolored eye to her own. He didn't know why she was here exactly, but he had an idea.

KB would remain standing in place, even as the energies he needed began to come together. A wormhole, crude, for even when controlled the strain was too much, too many variables. After all, tearing open a hole in apsace and time was a bit tricky to do when you were already carrying several with you. Deciding to take a more mundane approach, KB simply stood in place. There was of course a good chance that his attempt might fail, but such would simply be a learning expirience. There would be no noticable change at first in the general area, and KB himself didn't seem to be doing anything. Just letting his mind focus, and the energies amass, he waited for the right moment to unleash the power that was building up.

Ah. My mistake; I was not sure you had remembered. For the moment he has remained, but I am not sure how much longer he will wait before departing. *Mastema continued to lead Nana about the room, slowly. He was well aware of the 3 possible threats outside his barrier at the moment, but he gave no indication of the danger to Nana. After his wife was once again asleep and the invaders taken care of, he would make sure the children got to sleep after he explained what had happened earlier*
Proto: *Proto was nearing the point in the barrier where all three of the unwelcome guests would be. Off to the side he saw someone he didnt' expect to see as well: Zenogais. Was the maniacal bot intending to take care of the invaders as well? And if so was it by order or by free will?*....?
