*Alex saw Cora lunge, and everything suddenly slowed down for him. He could hear his heart beat, pacing the everlasting seconds as they passed, Cora bearing down on them, Kara's look of surprise. He watched in terror as she drew a bead on Cora. He had to act, he had to do SOMETHING. With monumental effort, Alex pressed himself to action, shoving all his weight against Kara's arm holding the gun at the last moment. He only could hope that he hadn't been too late*

:::Cora felt a couple things happen at once. First, she felt the follow through of her Neuro-transmitter as it hit the girl's skin. Also, she felt a pinch of preasure as the bullet from the gun grazed the skin of her upper arm, as it administrated the pulse. The skin broke, and almost immediately there was an internal 'click'. Her arm suddenly became dead weight:::

:::Kara, though determined to resist, felt a split second of energy run through her neck to her, around to the back of it, and up to her brain. In that split second, everything shut down, and her whole body fell forward onto Alex. The gun fell to the floor, and she was out:::

*Kara fell on top of Alex and he followed suite, collapsing to the floor underneath her. He took a moment to catch his breath*
Cora? Are you okay? Cora???

:::Cora stood on the spot. She hadn't moved yet. Her shoulder and forarm was still outstretched in the position she'd placed them to knock Kara out, but her upper arm was limp. The administrative node and retracted back into the arm seemlessly. Cora's face had gone white with shock and disbeliefe:::

*Not getting a response, Alex suddenly became very frightened*
Cora!! Cora, talk to me!
*Alex began pushing Kara off of him. He could see her standing there, but she seemed odd*

*Alex finally managed to roll Kara off of him. He shot up and leapt to Cora, grabbing her shoulders*
CORA! Look at me!
*He noticed where she'd been hit*
Oh my god.......... Cora.... You're hit! Oh dear God..... What do I do?

:::She snapped out of the shock, shortly after Alex touched her. She released the arm from it's place and it slumped down. When she realized that he was beginning to panic over her, she looked sadly down at the place she was hit:::
Alex... it's alright. That's... not a real arm.

*Alex suddenly remembered. He let out a sigh of relief*
Thank god... You'll be okay then.
*Alex turned around and looked down at Kara*
This... is all my fault..... Cora.. What should we do with her?

:::Cora, though speaking again, was still very pale, and seemed very disoriented and distant. She picked up the gun with her opperational hand, and looked at it for a moment. Then she bent the barrel of it between her fingers and dropped it again:::
Leave her there, she'll wake up in an hour or so.
:::she paused and stared distantly at her on the floor, wondering who in the world she was:::
Alex... I need to get my arm to an operational status again.

It will either be Count Chockula, Apple Jacks, or Kix... better if it's not Kix.

:::Meanwhile, Cora picked up her android arm and placed it over the sink, after moving part of the water clock out of the way, of course. With the arm propped over the sink, wrist up, she unlached something seemless with her left forefinger, and a hatch opened to reveal machinery.
She manually pulled out a rigid metal tube, and pressed a button that began to flash orange. The nerve signal from the arm were cut off, and she proceded to turn the arm over, so that the tube faced the sink. Within a moment, blood began to pour slowly from the tube, then progressively quicker as it picked up momentum:::
