Mastema

PostPosted: Wed Feb 01, 2006 8:08 pm

Very well then. Rest well Eecheb. I hope you will be in good statute when we talk. *With that, Mastema would leave Eecheb's mind all together*
PostPosted: Wed Feb 01, 2006 8:16 pm

*What a way to go, too... KB and Mastema had left Eecheb's dreams in a mess, and left the boy confused. Taking several steps backward, Eecheb's back would eventually come to rest on the sand block. He's hold his head lightly, looking down at the dreamscape ground, just tyring to make sense of it. Unfortunately, being in good condition was going to be a strech, when Mastema got back. There was much to take in and consider, and it flooded Eecheb's mind. Then next moment he'd let out a yelp as the sand block he had been leaning against, collapsed on one side and completely burried him, sufficating him. Moments later in the waking world, Eecheb would gasp for air quite sharply, and alertly. The boy was again awake, and he wouldn't be happy*

Eecheb: gonk Gah-huee!

*The suddeness of Eecheb's wake, got slightly more attention from Micha. It was if Eecheb had woke from a nightmare and well, he pretty much did, what with being sufficated by sand and all. Nightmares were something he hadn't experienced. The loud gasp had an adverse effect, in waking Trilla, who rubbed her eyes and sat up slowly to see what was going on. Well that was wonderful, now all three of the children were awake agaain. With Mastema gone, Nana still in bed recovering, Thanatos resting, Proto collecting his brethren, Alpha Zenogais who knows where, and everyone else outside if the tower.... a good lot of damage could be done, and possibly only to eachother*

Trilla: =.= | Hnn?

Micha: . . .

*Eecheb looked short of breath and distressed, and Micha was simply there where he hadn't been before. With a dream that started off fine enough, ending in nightmares, it was unlikely Eecheb would want to go back to sleep for a while. Plus, people had been in his head again, and he didn't know how to fend them off, he felt vulnerable. Micha required sleep to regain more energy so that he could finally leave the tower again, visit the library, wander about and see more of his home, things like that. Then finally there was Trilla, who also needed to sleep since she'd been up for so long, but with Eecheb and Micha awake is was more likely she'd say awake, even if she was tired*

Eecheb: .___., | Hmmn.

Micha: . . .

Trilla: >.> | Is Eecheb ok?

Eecheb: .___., | ......no.

Trilla: >.> | Hnn~ ?

A Broken Husk

Almost as one the six fighters exploded out of the flamming confines of their decent shields. The fighters had thin, long, wings for atmosphereic combat. Their main body was bulby, having an oval shape to hold their weapons and life support systems. Each one was roughly the size of an average day freighter, and packed more fire power under one wing to make a nuke look like a fire cracker, if they were to be armed for that heavy of duty. The loud explosion radiated outwards, the speed of sound racing towards the Citadel. Fortunately for the bombers they'd be in and out before the sound of their approach even reached the Citadel's barrier.

Now that they were free of their firey cacoons the six Seebos could use direct transmissions.

"Alright, boys, you know the drills. Activate main payloads."

If the Citadel had any threat detectors they'd be going berserk right about now as six heavily armored and heavily armed space fighters roared over the tops of the forest. They streamed straight towards the Citadel at speeds hardly seen outside of Gamma-Jumps.

"Drop'em!" Seebo-012 shouted into the tiny little boom mike attatched to his head set. And as one the six fighters opened their bombay doors and began dropping heavy payloads of explosive and napalm. The dull thud-thud of the bombs hitting the planet's surface and the loud roar of explosions errupted behind the fighters as the jerked themselves to elevate, and quickly, before the Citadel's defenses could manage to get a lock on the bombers.

Each ship had ECM's, or Electrical Counter Measures, which ment that while they could be seen with visual equipment the electrical sensory systems were going to be hard pressed to even locate them, let alone lock onto them.

A walkway of fire gysered up from the dark confines of the forest, marching closer and closer still to the Citadel. Just inside the forest's line the last explosion errupted, hurling chunks of earth and plantlife at the barrier. Fires roared through the forest as six, sleek, fighters activated their camoflauge units and disappeared into the night sky.

*There would be a slight tremor felt from the direction of the forest, after the fighters had dropped their payloads there, otherwise not too much would or should be noticed from inside of the citadel. By now Eecheb was telling Trilla and Micha about all he could remember of the strange "dream" he had, and what Mastema had said, aswell as KB. They'd not know if it was true or not until someone spoke of the dojo's destruction. Eecheb was still clearly confused about the whole ordeal aswell, not to mention now he had a dislike for sand all thanks to the sand block in his dreams, suddenly smothering him. Mastema was at the site of the dojo now, and would later speak to the children and tell them of the being K-Blob, otherwise known as KB. They would also learn that the dojo they had visited had indeed been destroyed, and that Eecheb's "dream" had been invaded. Barely an hour of sleep, and now worried that something similar might happen again, Trilla nor Eecheb would be falling asleep anytime soon. Of course that meant they'd get more irritable, have a harder time concentrating and paying attention, and might begin into another brawl again if not several over time. Micha on the other hand would sleep if he wanted to. No being would disturb his sleep, he wouldn't allow it, if possible*

Eecheb: .....so I'm not going back to sleep...!

Trilla: .__. | Not Trilla either...

Micha: . . .

*Up one floor Nana was still resting, though not as deeply anymore. The slight tremor was probably felt aswell. Nana would wake up soon, and at that time her secondary recovery would begin. That being, recovering her muscle strength so that she could move, walk, run, fly, pick up her children, dance, and generally do what she could before having been poisoned. Having been re-energized partially by Mastema, Nana would be able to do a few things upon waking but not too terribly much*

Proto: *Long before the fighters had gotten close, even before Zio had detected them as a threat, Proto had reluctantly abandoned his workings and returned to the citadel. The massive amounts of heat and energy would collide with the barrier, as it hardened and upped its strength to levels it had no commonly been exposed to. In conjunction with the extra energy necessary, some parts of the citadel would have power taken from them in order to compensate, making lights dim in some areas. Through the whole tremor, Proto would just walk through the streets, not losing his balance, in a walk of contemplation. He wasn't sure what his feelings were towards knowing that the fallen bodies of hundreds of his brethren were being obliterated and incinerated just beyond the barrier. Aside from that, the explosion would reduce the damaged nature of the land to one barren scar of land. Nana's signs would probably be incinerated in the blast as well*

Than: *Groaning in his sleep, Than wasn't inclined to wake up just yet* ~__~

*If the signs had indeed been destroyed aswell, Nana would no doubt feel a bit saddend. However the next signs she would make, would be better ones, and there would be more of them no doubt. With the landscape changed it would be interesting to see how Nana would react to it, but not only her, the children. Though they had only been outside of the barrier once save for Micha, from time to time they passed by near enough to the barrier to see the outside world that seemed so alien to them. So what would they think? Would they even reccognize anything? Such questions could only be answered when the time arrived. Then there was Proto, who seemed beyond his programming. Constantly faced with loosing "family", as one could imagine if Proto was a living being, he'd likely be mourning their loss, and maybe in his own way he was. Whether Proto was made up of flesh and bone, or gears and wires, he had his duties and those who cared for him whether he really knew it or not*

*Mastema snorted in annoyance at the newfound scar land around the citadel. It was nothing but a burnt ring of land now.... far from sightly. At least the falling snow was covering it appreciably. Nana's signs were no where to be seen, but one couldn't know if they'd just been blown away or destroyed. That could be determined later; there was no rush. It wouldn't be long before he was back in the citadel and using teleportation to take him to his room. For now, everything seemed in order while he laid back on his side of the bed, just thinking over the new developments*
PostPosted: Sun Feb 05, 2006 11:56 pm

*There was a familiar presence in the room, and slight movement on the left side of the bed. Mastema had returned, and that gave Nana a deeper comfort, and sense of protection. There had been a fly by attack of sorts while Mastema had been away, but the citadel remained throughout. It wasn't considered too threatening though, apparently as the children were never sent back up to the room with her. Not that it made any better... afterall an attack was an attack no matter how little or how much damage was done. Down one floor the children remained away and continued to speak with one another about Eecheb's experience. Even Micha seemed somewhat interested. Mastema could probably tell they were quite active. However it was his choice whether or not to speak to them of KB now, or later. He did afterall have a few new things on his mind, and they might need to be worked though first. In the meantime, Nana continued to rest peacefully beside him*

*Of course Mastema knew Nana was there. She'd spent all but a select few moments there for the past 4 months. He'd knowingly made an alliance with Xol after he'd afflicted her with this ailment, but there was really more good than harm in the alliance. Mastema wouldn't have to worry about Xol's interference for a time, and it may be enough for nana to relax more about leaving the citadel, not that Mastema took any more comfort in her doing so. Mastema had no incentive to bother Nana's rest, but he did occasionally glance over to her, as if he was reconfirming that she was still there*
PostPosted: Mon Feb 06, 2006 12:35 am

*Xol hated heaven, and had caused Nana this state thinking she was with them. If he was finally told she was a fallen angel, one no longer with heaven, then he should all but leave her be or so one would hope. Though one could but wonder what her reaction to the news would be, though no doubt Nana wouldn't be pleased. The man who had kidnapped her, drugged her, told her so many things she didn't want to believe, was now in an alliance with them? Nana would have no trust for Xol, not after what he'd done to her, not after what he'd said to her. Mastema had nothing to worry about though, Nana wasn't likely to move from her spot at all until she awoke again, and then her rehabilitation would likely start after a small bite to eat*

*Mastema knew already Nana wouldn't want an alliance with Xol, but really Mastema saw it more as a truce; he had the tact to explain it to Nana in a way which she would find more agreeable. Mastema took to staring at his hand, rotating it at the wrist out of boredom. However, soon enough he felt a discomfort in his back and raised a brow* Hmm? *Sitting up lightly, he would find the source of his discomfort* !?

Fenton: KWAA!! X_X PSSA!! *Fenton couldn't have been more surprised than to have been compressed under Mastema. It was the last way he wanted to wake up. Now wailing in surprise, Fenton bolted right out of the room, somehow having the will power to squash himself under the door crack in order to get away from Mastema. The tiny shrieks would be heard heading down the tower, going past the children's room. Fenton wanted to find that washing machine he'd seen before; he'd been nothing short of violated* gonk

*Recovering himself, Mastema just plopped back down on the bed* Well.....
PostPosted: Mon Feb 06, 2006 12:56 am

*Nana would briefly shift a little in her sleep, after Fenton's rather loud squeak. It had brought her out of her sleep state into something lighter, perhaps a light REM. In anycase Nana was more awake than she had been. The children would stop and look as Fenton went shrieking by their partly opened door. Just what the cause had been, of course they'd never know*

*Mastema heard Nana's light groan, and knew she wouldn't be asleep much longer. Perhaps then it would be his time to explain the several things which had happened just recently* Hmm.... *Mastema would simply remain where he was, not inclined to leave Nana at the moment either way. The kids themselves he could tell were fine, if not awake when they probably shouldn't have been*

Fenton: *In desperation, Fenton had somehow set the timer for a washing machine, put it on spin cycle, and jumped right in* x.x

KB would slowly approach the Citadel, admiring what had become of the land about it. Between the energies that had been hurled in the past, Mastema's spell, the army, and lastly the bombs that had been dropped, the place looked horrible. Devoid of all life, the charred remains were left scorched and uneven. The blood of men had pooled, the wreckage of bots and vehicles lay about, and massive holes had been dug up by explosions. The light snowfall did little to help the scenary.

In any case KB continued his approach. The drone behind him lumbering along as well. The barrier would be opened, in time. Not that KB would have his army ready just yet. Oh no, the warforged were ready, but the new units would take time. KB didn't seem to mind however, nor did he seem hesitant of Xol's arrival.

*No, the children should indeed have been asleep, but given the recent invasion and just the thought that it could happen to one of the others, it was enough to keep at least two of them awake. They would need to be put at ease, left they stress their small bodies by refusing to rest them, only to cause more problems later on for themselves. Now aside from the visit from someone from the outside, the children would talk about Fenton, as the small creature had just bolted by. Back in the master suite, Nana would begin to squirm a little more. Fenton's loud cry had disturbed her sleep enough that she was waking up*
