On the point of working in a videogames store, the novelty wears off pretty quick. I worked at EB Games for about a year and I currently work at Game Crazy. The discounts really aren't -that- great (10% on new stuff, 20% used, nothing on systems. It's the same for both companies, unless GameStop changed stuff since I worked at EB) and they push you to sell stuff constantly. GameCrazy is a lot worse about it than EB was, but maybe I just worked at a really lax store. It gets annoying have to pester customers to buy s**t you know they don't really want or need.
AND you also have to deal with stupid effing people. I'm so sick of dealing with stupid kids whose parents are even stupider than they are. If I hear one more person b***h at me about how their 'son wants Mario Party on PS2. He says it exists. My son is a wonderful god-child and nothing he says in wrong, so clearly store clerk, YOU are the idiot for not having this game in stock.' I might just have to punch a baby in the face.
Also, I have even more fun because I'm a girl so half the a*****e high school shitheads we have come in either ignore anything I try to say because I'm a girl, so I obviously have no idea about videogames, despite the fact that I've been holding a controller since before they were even BORN. They also sometimes like to try and 'test' me and ask me stupid ******** questions about games and systems.
The best moments are when kids like that try to tell me about some 'insider info' or some crap that they have, and I call them on their total bullshit, and the guys working back me up too. I heart the people I work with. :3 They're probably the best part of the job.

It's ok, I don't remember most of the people here either sad I changed names a lot, friend of Ember's, etc. Poisona was the last name I had, I think.

No, that's one thing I'll save up for. I only get my paycheck once a month so it'll take me a while.
