Mastema

*Mastema would grin coyly at Mugiri. Even if Mugiri proved nothing new to him, Mastema still held out some interest for the man* Very well..... I shall offer you a chance, but know your ground is thin and I am quite short on patience when one causes undue disruption in my citadel. Understood?

*Mastema showed little emotion to KB's words. He'd heard it all before. KB was nothing but recycled material to him in terms of words* I have no feud with the boy knowing your existence. As a matter of fact your appearance has given me an upper hand which you could not know yet. Hiding is one of the best tactics..... you yourself chose to appear no where but this boy's mind. As for who is weak, I may not be able to eradicate your existence, but I can assuredly overcome your presence. You need not worry, apparition.... I shall make sure Eecheb understands what is happening perfectly well *Mastema offered KB a sly grin, hinting at a plan in his mind*

"Understood....Master." He rose from the bow slowly, and apprehensively thought of what he had just done. 'I regret nothing' he thought to himself, and looked up to Mastema "What is your first command?" He closed up his shirt, the blood dried on his chest. He used his scarf to wipe his face and the blood under his ear.

*Eecheb would fidget around a little on his bed, making hinself comfortable. Subconciously he'd grabbed part of his bed sheets and pulled them over himself, a thin layer of fabric to keep himself warm along with his robes and other clothing. Streching out his feet in a yawn, then shaking his head a bit, Eecheb went about his bed resting again*

Eecheb: --.-- | z Z z Z z...

*While in the dream, Eecheb wasn't really sure what was going on now. It seemed his dream was turning more so into a nightmare as the roar was heard again a few seconds later making him flinch. The boy would look up to Mastema after KB's last comment. Mastema had so far only used telepathy to talk to Eecheb, but that didn't take away from KB's warning any. Mastema, K-Blob, both were using Eecheb's dream scape as an end to a means. One trying to learn through the boy, and the other trying to explel that force, all the while with little or no concern for Eecheb himself, who would have said something, but now seemed to loose himself a little in the conversation between adults*

Eecheb: .___. | Hmmn... Ah-- Hmmn...

"No doubt Mastema. It only seems appropriate that you would surface to fix a problem the moment it invades your privacy. Aside from it effecting you, you seem quite content to let any stranger speak with your son." Though KB was technically speaking to Mastema, he'd said the words more to Eecheb. The continued roars had the same effect as before, not doing much other than arouse curiousity. As far as it stood, Mastema could probably try and force KB away, either by waking the boy or simply blocking any telepathic influence. That aside, Eecheb would most likely remain in control of the dream itself, even if he didn't know it. "Though on a whole seperate note, I'm curious as to if you could do something for us. The boy and I, I mean. See that block there? It's proven most difficult to supress. I was curious as to whether or not you could best it." Though the challenge might seem senseless, KB wanted to see how it'd work out. If it were all symbolism, then KB might find that Eecheb believed Mastema capable of defeating all challenges. Though, with a sick wife, and an intruder in his sons head, it seemed Mastema was hardly as powerful as one might think. In any case, Mastema either accepting or denying the challenge would be a win/win situation. After all, MAstema denying it would only serve to reinforce KB's opinion that Mastema was weak and hid behind conversation.

*Being called "master" wasn't something which stuck particularly well or uncomfortably with Mas; he was neutral on the concept* Soon enough I shall be departing, for a short while, to inspect another area. Your mission will be to accompany me. I should say escort, but I am not in need of a guard so much as an accomplice.

*Mastema just chuckled coldly* Oh had I intervened for my security, you would not have set one foot in this boy's mind. Count your graces as the minutes you have been allowed to remain, but such graciousness you will no longer receive from me. You come here, to my son, as if you wish to harness some kind of ability, yet you deny him the truth you feel I have. For the final time, leave. *Mastema snorted at the request* Such a feeble request. You know as well as I that the destruction of that substance is dependant upon my son and him alone. Perhaps it will mean something for it to be obliterated, but upon your request I shall do nothing. *It was clear that Mastema would not yield to KB's requests, but may do so in Eecheb's favor. Mastema had made it clear his intervention was for Eecheb's sake, and until KB left nor would Mastema*

"Of course sir." He nodded his head. He looked down at the ground for a second, and back up "Would you mind if I ask for an improvement alreafy? My eye.... I lost it a long time ago. With all of your power might you be able to replace it?"

Ka'rinth had finally regained control of himself, and as such was walking slowly back towards the forest. He began laughing darkly as he moved, unconcerned with who may hear him as he moved away from Mastema and the other being. He reveled in the warm embrace of his own siren song and thoughts of torture and pain. In an instant though, his mind was calm and equilibrium restored, between one step and another his thoughts were as emotionless as an actor switching masks. His current mental state was unusual and the manifestation of it at the moment inconsequential. He was again working on his energy control as he moved back towards the forest, humming a soft yet dark melody in his deep baritone. His eyes glowed red but only trace amounts of energy escaped them. As he walked he began planning rapidly as he always had, and considering how best to return to the game he had left, especially without the piece he had begun cultivating here.

*It was unlikely anyhow that Mastema could best the sand block, afterall it meant something to Eecheb, that even Mastema probably didn't know. It would reform even if Mastema attacked it, and all because he, not to mention KB didn't understand its meaning. But in retrospect the block meant little for now, and couldn't be used by either Mastema or KB for any pourpose. But with both there in the boys mind, bickering between themselves, Eecheb was becoming more lucid still. It wouldn't be all that surprising really if Eecheb tried to kick both of Mastema and KB out of his mind. After all, both were intruders and Eecheb had a distaste for people in his head. In the waking world, the boy would shiver a little, and his tail would re-wrap itself around his middle, while he flinched a little. Both KB and Mastema were disrupting the boy's sleep*

Eecheb: ~_~; | Hmmn--

*All of Eecheb's fidgetting and low growling was catching Micha's attention. He wouldn't move to get up, just turn his head to the side, to watch Eecheb squirm about. It only interested him slightly because Eecheb once asleep usually stayed in one place all night. It was unlike him to squirm about so much*

Micha: . . .

"Well then. I think I'll be letting the boy get some rest. After all, I have work to tend to. Cleaning up the remains of that bothersome Dojo and all. May your Mother make a quick return to health. Until next time kiddies." KB would nod to the two. Then, taking a couple of steps back he'd fade away. No doubt that if Eecheb remembered any of it he'd soon know he was dreaming. Not that it was of any concern, for KB had left of his own accord. After all, Eecheb was of no use too him tired.

The communication completed, the pulses would cease. KB had no further use in trying to contact anyone within the Citadel. He'd come to realise Mastema had at least something to protect, something KB would enjoy destroying. Now that the Citadel was dealt with, his resources turned towards the next task. The Dojo was in need of his attention.

Your eye?.... Hmm..... there are several solutions possible..... but that shall be discussed upon our return. *Mastema pondered for a moment* I do not believe it will be extraordinarily difficult, but it may take time. Have you any other munitions you need first, or shall we set off?

*Mastema gave a contemptuous shrug as KB left, and turned to address Eecheb. More than that, Mastema got reasonably close to his son and knelt down* I trust you are unharmed, Eecheb. That man has caused enough grief for me as is....

"No....." he took off his scarf, and used the wind to blow it clean. While it was off, his scarred lips showed. There were two parallel scars on the right side, and a perpendicular one on the chin underneth. He returned the scarf, wrapping it loosely over his neck and lower face. "Well, we can go.... I will follow anywhere." He closed his eye.

*Eecheb really wasn't sure what to make of everything, but was lucid enough to tell that things weren't how they should be. Wishing Nana a quick recovery then disappearing, Mastema paying him attention. It seemed out of sorts and would more than likely have a profound effect on him once he woke. In a way it might actually be a blessing that Mastema was leaving for the time being, as Eecheb might have a few things to say to him that such youth shouldn't. That and the fact that he was by now so tired, he wouldn't be able to preceive what he was even saying, could get him in trouble. When Mastema knelt down, Eecheb would take a step back, randomly glancing about and trying to avoid eye contact*

Very well then then. Our travel takes us that way. *Mastema turned and pointed, shortly after starting to walk* There seems to have been a recent..... eviction, I should call it. I wish to check the state of the land. *Mastema would continue towards the dojo. It would take some time to get there*

((My next post to Mugiri will probably be in the BC dojo thread))

*Mastema didn't chuckle at the eye sight aversion, and gave Eecheb a slight alleviation by turning his sights away from Eecheb* He is not someone you should trust, but you should know of him. Perhaps we can speak of it later, when you are not preoccupied

Proto: *With Ka'rinth gone, Proto would return once again to his duty. His alert had been triggered several times since coming out of the barrier. Perhaps it really was too dangerous out here. Proto would resume his supposed "salvaging" of the droids..... what his intents were with the fallen brethren was difficult to determine*

"Yes master..." he followed silently, recovering from the effects of his curse. It would be like that as long as he was weak. He had to change it somehow... anyway he could..... ((I'll post there soon))

*Eecheb would continue to look away, sheepishly reguardless of Mastema turning his head. The incident with Thanatos and Mastema telling Eecheb to simply leave him there had left a bad impression. Reguardless of Thanatos recovering durring the incident the impression remained and Eecheb remained uncomfortable. It showed aswell, as Eecheb's wings folded tightly to his back, and his tail and stopped moving. There was apprehension in the boy's face over what to believe. KB had said several positive things to the boy that Mastema never had. Then Mastema told Eecheb that the man was someone not to trust. It was confusing, but Mastema was right, Eecheb should know of him and later on he and his other siblings that were still unknown to KB should be made aware. If anything KB knew of one child, but the other two would remain a mystery*

Eecheb: .__., | Ah.... ah-- ok....
