"No, you would never be so cold as to shun a possible mistress or master." Kaguyo snapped again. "You've already moved on from me. I'm not blind. I thought you would have at LEAST waited more than a week."
Yuki shook her head. "I'll give her sedatives..."
"You keep those ******** needles away from me whore!" Kaguyo snapped, seeing her handling a few syringes. "I'll break my other hand breaking your ******** neck!"
"Ah. That's right, Watari-kun has pills for you..." she mused, seemingly unaffected. She was trying to imitate the scientist's grace and serenity. "Don't worry Kaguyo-sama, I won't use needles."
"Don't worry Kaze-lady..." Kazuhiko whispered, hugging her close.
He hadn't really announced to anyone that he had come back; in fact, by all appearances, he didn't even have a weapon.
Had he even left?
Where was the holy-weapon Avaon made?
"Go and make sure Shi-chan doesn't have another attack." Kazuhiko warned Aled. "You better hurry."

Shiori was already quickly packing up her things, shivering with rage and sorrow.
It figured! The minute she thought he might've actually meant what he said, his wife came running back... Technically his wife, anyhow. She had seen the way he looked at her, how he had caressed her hair, his arm around her...
It made her sick. She couldn't even stand to think about it, not in the slightest.
"Baka..." she cursed herself quietly, "You should have known better than to fall for this..."

**Sorry.** Kaguyo mentally shrugged. **How else would you expect me to be? You know my temper. I guess I got carried away.**

But Shiori froze where she was, closing her eyes as she heard his voice. "No, one couldn't expect you to leave your wife like that." she answered fluidly, "Or to leave her at all, now that she's come running back to you. Leave. Get out, leave me alone. I'm out of here. I've had enough. I don't want to hear another word, I don't care, I'm just going to stop the bullshit here and now."

"I don't want to hear it!" Shiori snapped, clenching the blanket of her bed in her hands. "ENOUGH!"
She quickly finished shoving the rest of her clothes away, spinning to face him standing in the doorway.
She knew he wouldn't budge.
"Get out of the way." she warned, although facing him, she wasn't sure how strong her conviction was. "GET OUT OF THE WAY!"
She tried to shove him aside, trying to slip away into the hall.

Shiori was so surprised just by his grabbing her that she immediately dropped her bag.
But when he kissed her...
She closed her eyes, flushing brighter than any of his compliments had made her blush.
She wasn't sure what to do. Part of her was reeling at how quickly he had just moved, how she couldn't so much as budge him... But then again, she'd be lying if she said she didn't want this.
Then again, she wasn't really sure she could think, either, because suddenly she was sorta sinking and her knees were sorta weak...
Part of her was tempted to faint.
"A...Al..Aled..." she shook her head, trying to dispel some of her mental fog, but she couldn't say another word.
She couldn't even look at him.
She was just trying not to blush all over.

"But your wife..." Shiori protested, shaking her head. "Your wife..!"
Her heart was racing, she needed a glass of water. Her mouth and throat were parched dry, and she still could hardly think.
Aled had muddled her senses; in a sense, this man could be very dangerous against her.
Then again, it was hard to believe any of this was happening.

Kazuhiko paused for a moment, watching over Kaguyo before looking to Po-ar. "I have a secret." he whispered to him, "I think you need to carry this... You're a better fighter than I am yet."
He tucked the hilt into his hand, smiling cheerfully. "You'll understand Otousan."

"OHAIYOU!" Kazuhiko burst over at Watari, forgetting his father completely.
Kaguyo however raised an eyebrow. "That's going to be tons of help..." she muttered sarcastically.
"Daijoubu ka, Watari-kun?" Yuki asked him gently, smiling as she watched him.
The world had a new, intense vibrancy that wasn't there before.
It must've been very strange indeed to be Kazuhiko.

Shiori kissed Aled deeply, closing her eyes.
She could tell he wasn't lying, so for now, she trusted him.
At the same time, she wasn't quite sure where to move from this space.
She separated from him again, blushing deeply.

Kazuhiko tilted his head. "What's acid, Mizu-kun, and how do you know what it looks like to be on it? Does it eat away at you?" he frowned, peering at him strangely. "Seeing like you guys is so boring..."

Shiori nodded meekly, although she wouldn't look at him. "I think so." she whispered.
She needed to reclaim her edge somehow...
What on Tarnbsei could she say to him now?
They were still close enough that she hadn't stopped blushing, not even for a second. It made dinner look mild.
It was cute, really, to see how quickly he had disarmed her.

Kazuhiko smiled. "I bet Auntie Eara would say different, but I think I understand. I apologize. I think my way of looking at things is much more vibrant than yours." he nodded. "You can sense souls now and stuff like that..."
**Remember when I told you I could hear the thoughts of other people? Hear and know their intentions? You have my ability as a Shinigami, Mizu-kun. You'll be able to see ghosts too if you look for them... I need you to hide these, keep them safe.**

"I'm not tired." Shiori protested. "Especially if you're just going to dump me off to sleep and hightail it back to your wife."
Seems like she was doing just a hint of acting too.
Right?
"You always want me to sleep. Life gets boring that way." she shook her head.
