"About one year ago, an evil person, about as evil as you can get, ressurected my dead prince. How should that make me feel?" He said ernistly, not caring that Onyx could hear.

"You are wondering if this evil person deserves such a title?"
The pup looked around the arena a moment, thought making his six ears twitch. "Or do you not know how to feel about your prince?"
"Be happy for the prince. A life that lives is prescious, a gift. For this evil one, dwell not. Perhaps it was fate. If it was, you can not judge him whether he is right or wrong, because he only did what he had to do."

Onyx shook his head lightly, and passed by Cedric with a bit of a shrug.
"He said 'I didn't really want to kill him anyway'. and with that other woman..a preistess..came calling. I think that the diefied son..might have taken the place of his mother. I don't know much, but don't that normally happen with demigods and such?"
A tilt of his head.
"He righted a wrong he did, I think."
Before bounding after Aella.
"Wait! I'm sorry..I didn't mean to upset you. It was just a joke. a flirting joke, but still just a joke.."
"Alright. I won't go playing war. I'll let arthur go play war."
A chuckle, catching the brush.
"I'm not wearing Malvolence. Sevilin reported it to me. Who do you think helped remake your daggers? Tremor and Sevilin worked on them. and I'll get the land you want, and the stables expanded. and I'll get you another Nightmare if you want."
A light glance toward the Manor.
"though I need to discuss something with Fianna and Sevilin. if it works, might be somethign you and I try, Zahara. be an interesting exercise."

ONyx's words were mostly common knowledge, Cedric nodded.
"I can logically see that, as well. But my emotions are not following my logic. I am most certain that I love my prince, but I am not certain that I can love myself." Cedric shrugged. "It is perplexing to think about the past and how it is relating to the future with such a subtle use of a herrendous torture."
"I normally can deal with all sorts of calamities, as my people were slaughtered when I was but a youth of 150. I fought with them until the bitter end, when I was ordered to escape by my superior. He was killed by he who brought back the prince." History lesson.
"I sought philosophy to dull the pain that epted after the defeat of my kin, and drowned my sorrows in logical annalysis. I could walk with the man who killed my father, and not strike at him, accepting that he only did what he had to do, given that our peoples were enemies. No mater the circumstance, I cannot hold one person responsible for the injustice to the many, because I have seen how a single individual is... affected by the whole." Cedric shrugged, his mind seemed to be at a loss.
"I can talk an angry dragon from consuming that which she wishes to consume more than life itself, yet I cannot come to terms with the ressurection of my prince. Strange how our minds will allow us to overcome some problems, but not others."

"Other people's problems are easier to deal with than our own. You spent time with the man who killed your father in order to come to terms with him. Perhaps you should spend mroe time with your prince. He is an individul, and does not deserve to be judged." He thought a moment. "Unless it is fate, then nothing we say now or ever makes any difference."
Aella kept her head down as she walked. "it was inappropriate! Some do not share your sense of flirting humor." Angry? Yeah a bit. Why? She'll tell you late when she understood.

"Fate is a very broad word." Cedric replied, though his eyes did seem a little more open. "I feel no ill-will to my cousin. I think it is the guilt of having lost him to begin with, or the failure to bring him his parents, or any of the other things that one of the elders once was able to do." Cedric felt a surge of rage, but only showed it as a passionate fire in his golden eyes. "But... that is not a fair judgement either. They died. I lived. Who am I to compare myself with the past." He shrugged.
"It is difficult. Emotions are not as clear as they should be. At the very least, the four of us are still alive." He smiled. "Eventually, I will marry Celeste, and we will have a brood to double our numbers." He chuckled, not really beliving the words as he spoke them. It was probably inevitable, but Cedric did not want to journey down that path just yet. "She betrothed me when I was thrity. And has since the day of my birth, covited me. As though in some past life, we shared a union so strong that it broke through the very fabric of time and space." He smiled softly, "Alas, I do not feel adiquit to be with her."

A smile from Piper. "Of course the offer is still open, I need someone who loves it just as much as I do...and can be taken serious by those that won't take me as such." Well because to everyone else, she was still just a surface elf in the Underdark and nothing more. She wasn't going to get this thing to work if she couldn't get in good with the darker characters of the plane. Though another smile was turned on her husband. "Aren't you just so sweet, then again I do deserve it for the hours of agaonizing pain I went through for you." Hold that over his head forever? Why yes. After all, he knew it was all in good jest...look back on the situation an laugh sort of thing...even if it really wasn't laughable seeing as things could of gone quite wrong. Then a raised eyebrow at the mention of Sevilin and her mother. Didn't take a scholar to figure that one out. "He wants to play with the rune mages...check on Malikhai for me since I'm house banned?" There was actually almost a little pleding tone to her voice. "Though I believe Sevilin's left for the day, so don't spend your time wandering the house for him." And her attention back to Zahara. "I have four words. Pureblood fire winged nightmare."

"Most of the people living here feel in adiquate for one reason or anyther. Meilikki fears she has outlived her usefullness, Aella debates whether she was useful at all. I fear my emotions, a regression, and you?" A glance, "many reasons, I think."
"Celeste." The three headed dog thought on this elf for a moment. "I do not like her. She saddens my Mistress."

"Okay, I realize that. I'm sorry, alright? C'mon don't be mad at me. I won't do it again, promise."
this much look rich, Onyx backpedalling and trying to apologize in front of an angry and upset Aella.
"I didn't mean to offend you, just trying to add some humor. you've been way to serious lately. like someone took your sense of fun and humor and buried it someplace."
"Of course I will. And really it's more of getting the runemages to play with eachother."
A slight chuckle and heading into the house, looking aroudn for Kieran and Fianna. After meeting them, he'd give arthur his daily beating. Had to keep that elf sharp.

Kieran was sitting in the chair at the desk in the room he and Fianna were sharing, holding a rather content Malikhai as his lover was more or less pacing the room and overly thinking on what he had said. He swore, when she stressed, she stressed bad...which was why he was holding Malikhai and not her, seeing as she'd probably make the poor thing dizzy with her pacing. "I doubt he would Fianna..."
"And what makes you so sure? He's tried to kill you before."
"Yes but he didn't, and besides...that was before he...acclimated to life here. I don't blame him really. Furthermore, Malik wouldn't let him and for whatever reason, he listens to Malik...or appears to. Whichever. Point is, things would go smooth."
He made a noise to get attention as they were talking over his head. A thing he wasn't used to, mommy was usually always focused on him and never talked over his head. Where was she anyway? Giving a little squirm in his grandfather's hold, causing Kieran to shift his hold some on the child. Hey, that was more comfortable, now where's the corner of the blanket again to suck on?

What in the world could he want with Sevilin? The other elf had sworn fealty and all that jazz...was Malik thinking of torturing him some more or were his motives less violent? She didn't know but she was worried. "You and I? If it involves magic, I'm there. Physical stuff would just be suicide to go up against you in." Damn the men for being stronger and able to break her without even trying. That really got to her sometimes. She just shook her head and waved to Malik as he strolled off, turning her attention back to Piper. "Well good because I accept though it wouldn't matter if the offer was open or not because I would browbeat you until you let me." That was more of a joke though since she knew that Piper wanted her in her business, she'd all but begged her when the idea had been presented some months ago and well, Zahara had held off not really sure what was going to happen. But now she had accepted and that could pose for some interesting future events, now couldn't it? "Fire winged nightmare is enough for me, pureblood is the icing on the cake." If the drow did something as unattractive as drooling, she would have been. With her eyes closed, she could see it and she wanted it, wanted it so badly she could taste it. "We have to breed more than one of course. Crossbreeding and mixing...soon we'll have enough for a full herd. Oh how exciting!"

Piper shook her head lightly. "I don't want to know what he's getting hismelf into this time. As long as he's careful, after all, I'd hate to be widowed already. Wouldn't be fun at all." But a little sigh, watching him head off a moment before her attention was drawn back to Zahara, her revived partner in crime. "Yeah it's going to take some work...working blood in and getting the wanted results and then working blood out without loosing what was gained. It will be a challenge indeed...I like it. Not to mention it will definately keep me busy when I need to be so." Giving a little sigh and smile. It would be nice to get back to what she used to do...though she didn't mind the thought of toning it down a little and having a baby on her hip either. "Things change...and it looks like a lot of things are changing for the best. And everyone is happy, right?"

"I have some leverage of Sevilin that makes this a safe endeavor if you were considering treachery as a problem."
Malik came into teh room, smirking lightly.
"I'm sure Sevilin doesn't want any visits from the chaindog if he can help it. Not to mention is his bound by blood to my House. Though this idea presented to me does deserve some looking into. Exactly how is this set up?"
Though walking voer to Malikhai, cursory check and a light grin.
"and Piper is going nuts not being able to stay within ten feet of Malikhai."

Daddy! Malik was perhaps the most recgnizable person to him aside from Piper, after all, he looked just like his father and what was more recognizable than that? And it warrented happy noises and some squirming and flexing of fingers, perhaps somewhat of a smile.
"There you see, just like I said. You worry too much." Though a smile down at the infant her was holding as he squiremed around and made his noises.
"You worry too little." Hm, she was a little testy about it wasn't she? Though she turned her attention over to Malik as he walked in, first checking on his son. "And I know she is, but she's got to be able to still have time to herself and not make her day revolve around him." It was plain unhealthy and well after a while Malik would most likely notice it was all about the baby. Not about them, or anything else. And that was bad for any relationship. "Besides, she's bonded to him and closer than anyone else to him here, even if she's not holding him." But with a sigh she let that rest.
"You mean the rune mage game that mimicks chess, yet turns it into something wholly different? A rune mage decides to play and thus draws up a board of sorts. Then any number of objects can be used to represent game pieces. Each is runes with a physical projection rune that is typed to a certain apperance and numbered to keep track. From there, as the pieces are moved so it the action on the actual field...though it all flows as if its not a game. Runic sequence chains provide for that. Takes a lot of energy, causes a lot of runic backlash."

"We can do it though. After all, I single handedly discovered a potion to help raise your fertility, how hard can it be to do the same with horses?" She silently agreed with Piper though. Zahara knew she needed to stay busy, especially with Zykariel getting older. Now would be the time to influence him and by staying busy she wouldn't be tempted to involve herself anymore than she was. Piper's business would give her the perfect outlet to keep her busy and challenged, not to mention allow her plenty of time with what she adored, the horses. And with Piper involved as deeply as she would be with Malikhai, well "Yes, I think this is by far one of the best ideas you have ever had."
