Manfread had made some progress in speeding up the attack. He was a lot faster compared to when he started, and was no longer completely thrown off balance by the vertical swing. He continued to hack at the dummies until his arms were tired and had he had built up a heavy sweat. Unable to continue with out pulling energy from his reserves, Manfread wiped the sweat from his head and headed over to a wall. He jammed the sword into the ground and sat down using the wall as support, while he rested. He felt as though the speed had increased a little, and if now felt natural to move in a vertical arc.

"True enough." he walked up and laid hand on his mentor's shoulder. he let his chakra pour into his friend. one part of it going to diagnose his vitals, and any other problems James was a master of diagnosis, the other part would just serve as a general pick me up. James took a step back from his friend and closed his own eye's atempting to view the world as the Satetsu would with his dark blindfold. adding chakra to the mix James did look out onto the world, for 10 kilometers around he looked out onto the world and saw wahat was to be seen. It was a heartening experience. Kagura Shingan learned.

James Cameron Poe King of The Frozen Sand"I figure me and you should work on collaboration some. Mabye that breaking lariat or some other combination of our skills. I would also like to learn the art of joint control, and maybe you could tell me about how you summon those bears."

San smiled. James seemed to be enjoying some of the perks and privledges the Satetsu seemed to be enjoying. He would be happy to hear some of the stuff the konin would say....
"Well....i can give you the way to the bears. I will warn you that being accepted by Nanaoko is difficult, but once you do....well its still difficult. XD why you wanna learn my art of joint control? Jelious?....hmm.....?....."

San patted James on the shoulder, exlaiming his new found energy.
"lets go see what six is up to! I havnt seen here in a long a** time.
San then quickly ran...aiming for the crevice

"No I would like to learn it because it is simpler than my armors. And maybe not the bears specifically, but where they come from and others like them. I'll give you some time to rest and then we can hash it out. I want to go look over the battlefield again"

After resting for a while, Manfread stood up again. Grabbing his sword he slung it over his back and set up a few more dummies to practice. Changing tactics he pointed the tip of the sword against the ground. In a quick pivot he turned his body and dragged the blade on the ground. The slash cut the poor dummies down a couple of feet, but threw Manfread off balance as he was unable to suddenly stop the force he had created.

After crashing into a wall, Manfread dug his sword out of the rubble and walked over to the dummies once more. Placing the tip of the sword on the ground he turned his body and pivoted, the blade moved in a sweeping arc and sliced down a few of the dummies. This time he was able to stop himself from crashing into any thing but he still had trouble stopping himself over extending his body and leaving himself vulnerable to counter attacks.

Lucas walked in only to have a broken piece of a training dummy fly towards him. obviously someone was training hard. he wanted in on it. walking over to manfread Lucas smiled and promised himself he wouldn't strike manfread for anything. "good day manfread. how's training? mind if we train together? i have several jutsu i would like to learn." he said cracking his head and pulling out his notebook full of travel notes which contained info on different jutsu.

Manfread turned at the sound of the familiar voice, resting the hilt of his sword on his shoulder he saw Lucas and smiled.
“Sounds fun, I'm always up for real training,” he said with a smile, then lifting the sword he pointed the blade at Lucas and angled it so that the eyes of the skull were looking at him “Do you mind if I use my Necromancer? I just got it recently and I need a lot of practice to get use to the weight.”

Lucas smiled. at least the boy seemed less agressive today. he thought for a moment then decided that fighting with manfread was all right to start their training. "all right manfread. you may use your sword. but be warned. i'm still powerful without my bloodline." he said and pulled out his knife. he left mirage on his back as it would be unfair to use it against manfread as well as the fact Lucas still needed to find a fix to his problem of getting caught in it. he got into a defencive stance and waited for manfread to make the first move.

“Hear that Ka-chan, its time to wake up and play,” Manfread said a wicked smile splitting his face into. He channelled a bit of chakra into the sword, and the eyes of the skull started to glow a dark green colour at the same time he activated his byakugan. It was just for show, but most people would be unnerved at the thought of a living sword. Manfread suddenly charged in close, before getting to close he would suddenly stop and pivot. The sword would sweep across the ground in a radical slash. He would still have a little trouble stopping the blade if he didn't hit any thing, but he was slowly improving.

Lucas could easilly see the attack coming. living or not that sword had limited range and by stopping to perform his attack he limited his range. Lucas simply slid backwards away from the sword and then shook his head.
"never run your attacks with obvious intent."
he said then lept out of the building and up the wall into an empty room. while he waited for Manfread to catch up he quickly sent four tags to each corner of the room these tags would be without chakra but like any explosive tag the chakra could simply be added later and within this proximity Lucas would easilly add the chakra before Manfread could react if needed. after the tags rested in their corners Lucas simply waited with his dagger in his left hand but kept it resting at his side. he didn't want to have to use it unless he had to.

Manfread slowly stopped the massive blade. Watching Lucas with his Byakugan he saw the trap that was set. Silently thanking his mother for her gift of sight, he moved just out side the room Lucas was in. Lifting his sword he smashed through the wall closest to Lucas, with a heavy vertical slash sending debris in his direction and making a small smoke screen. Manfread then charged closer and swung his massive sword upwards, then arced it downward diagonally out of the obscuring dust.
“If I can't fight head on then I'll just change strategies” he said as the large sword raced towards Lucas.
