InuVash255 Well, here's my hint: Describe everything with as much detail, action, and dialogue as possible within the supposed time frame. Detail doesn't need to be long and drawn out, but you should get a good idea of how something looks by the way you describe. For instance, instead of just saying "He saw a book" you could say "He gazed over the expansive desk to find a ruddy, leather-bound tome laying open to seemingly random page full of text. As he began to read the text upside down from his side of the desk; it turned out to be some sort of history text." Action can also contain alot of detail, such as the way your character preps and uses a technique, or the exact way an enemy responds to the attack (in the event of an NPC). Also try to answer every question that an RP-ing partner asks in a natural sort of way, even going so far as to make it seem like you said it in between (if possible). Personally, I'm just trying to hit the 20-30 lines per post range right now. You forgot to add that inner monologues are also good, like showing how your character goes from one idea to the next, or how they perceive an attack or person, but be careful to not go too OOC. Ya, bored too over here :s

So ele talked me into finally making my character over here xD; Here's a picture that I drew to accompany my profile when I get around to transferring my Points over here >A<  I need help figuring out colours though, so if any of you want to open this up in photoshop make a new layer and set it on Multiply feel free to put down/suggest base colors <3

damn me and Don seem to have to same basic character design, but mines more toward blowing stuff up

and for your character, Earth tones seem like they would be nice,

In any case, my RP posts will up later. I got school right now, I'll write up my posts on the train like usual, Ninja A is down to 8 and Ninja B is down 6... We should finish them both off this round, if not I'll finish off who ever is alive on my next turn.
Um... DBL and Ele should pay more attention to the Update Thread today, when I get home in like 10 hours, I'll only be on for like 1 or 2, if that... And then I'm gone for the rest of the day and wont be back until late tomorrow~

@Mikaru and come play: Personally, I'd go with cool and regal tones like purples, magenta, and royal blues. I can see the main coat being fuchsia with an "Ancient Fuchsia" or "Persian Blue" sash (I'm going off of colors on wikipedia btw). I'm thinking the arm parts would also be darker as well. I can see the scroll in Royal blue, with maybe gold embellishments of some sort. Perhaps the fishnet could be a shade of lavender...

I was thinking that Inu, but i went with the Earth tones because i don't really know the back story for the character, most people can wear earth tone without trouble because it is easy
it would like neat using fluro colours as well

For instance, for the mission I'm on, I have to do a Flee Check (d100+ Agi(x2) + Flee Buffs) vs. 100, my agi is 10 and I have no buffs, meaning its 20 vs. 100
Correct me if I'm wrong on this:
the percentage is: 50% + ((20-100)/10) = 50% - 8% = 42%
which means I have to roll 42 or below...

It's not 1D100+ your stats. The D100 doesn't add or subtract from your rolls, it's just used to see if your "%" succeeds. So If you have an Agility of 10 with no buffs, then the check is 10(x2) + 0 = 20 vs 100. This gives you a -80. 500 - 80 = 420 or 42% so yes, you'd roll a 42 or under.
