Nova smiled and jumped up, going to get his shoes on. He remembered when he was small that he had no need for shoes. The best thing was to walk barefoot! But, when winter came around, then it was a kind of forced thing. He hated having his feet in something that felt like they were going to choke his feet until they turned black and fell off. His mother told him that was impossible, but his father liked to tease him and came up with stories. The only bad thing was that when his mother died, then his father actually began to tell him the truth. The truth as cold as the winter snow. He finally understood the differences in humans and vampires and wanted nothing more than to join the two races together. It was a difficult dream to accomplish, and he doubted they would ever live in peace. But then he turned fifteen in both human and vampire years. The world was opened to him once more when he learned of 'feeding bags' and the relationships between humans and vampires. So, they ended up nothing more than a living source of food for the vampire until the vampire died? What a cruel fate for both. But, then he met Toiba, and he was sure he wanted her. Then she was killed, and he closed himself off. Then, at about one hundred years later, he came across Mitsuki. He had never been so happy in his whole life. He hugged himself and ran at Mitsuki when the human came back down. He grasp the human in a tight hug and sighed happily.

Sekitan-chan Icarus' hair had dried before he was dragged into whatever was actualy going on. He felt Armand run his fingers through his hair. "Best day meeting another vampire?" The boy mumbled as the vampire rested his forhead on his shoulder. "Okay..." He followed Armand, not knowing where they were going. Icarus wasn't angry any more but he'd find a way to get his sister back. The boy shook his head as he thought. Time to turn up the heat! He then asked. "What was that about?"==== Neruphial followed close behind Amerlie when she started walking. He sighed when she asked what the whole thing was about. "He was probably just bored and wanted to use you to entertain him, so I used his feeding bag, which obviously he didn't know he was near by." You'd think that he would have since I smelt him.He followed her into the shop and looked around when she was shifting through paper, he saw her smile at him when she caught his eye. The vampire went to the cashier with her. "Probably, if I don't claim you soon" "Yeah. . . I've never met a vampire I didn't know already, without them challenging me with a vengance or fleeing as soon as possible. This time, he played the way I would have. It was. . . new." Armand made a sighing noise then chewed on the inside of his cheek gently. "I'm the son of the leader, plus lots," He explained. "So I get treated differently alot." Armand turned down the nearest alley, going halfway down it before turning around to face Icarus. He shrugged then grinned. The boy would never follow a vampire fight unless he was there from the start. Most of the time at least. "The girl knocked into me, said nothing, and so I thought she'd be a bit of fun. Turns out she smelled like him, but she wasn't claimed. That's gonna cause problems." He wrinkled his nose as he spoke in a smiling way, running his fingers over the boy's neck before leaning down and dragging his tongue over the shallow tear in his skin. It was healed within a minute. Pretty fast. Armand stood back and blinked owlishly at Icarus. "There. Unblemished and perfect as ever."
::::::
Amerlie blinked at his words, thanking the cashier gruffly for her purchases then leaving the store. She looked to her side, eyeing Neruphial with a curious expression. She dropped her gaze though, and walked on silently as she hangover slowly began to fade. They were headed towards a much queter side of the city - the park. Maybe that was why. Either way, she was able to think again after twelve minutes. "So. . . will it hurt? This claiming deal?" She questioned the vampire suddenly, her eyes tracing the trees and the wide expanse of grass when people were lying down, playing ball games and watching their kids. She slowed down her walking pace then stopped under a small black olive tree and dropped her things on the ground. Unsurprisingly, the paper stand fell on her foot. "s**t-t-t-t-take mushrooms! Oh France, mother of peral! That hurt!" She yelled as she hopped around and angrily 'rearranged' her things with her other foot.

Icarus listened to Armand explan why it was the best day he had meeting another vampire. He followed him when he turned down an alley. The boy stopped and looked at Armand when he stopped then turned and faced him. He was a bit confused as to why he got treated diffrently just because he was the son of the leader, but he didn't get to ask another question before the vampirestarted to answer his second question. "Hows it going to cause problems?" His skin felt like it was crawling when armand ran his fingers over Icarus' neck then leaned over and licked it. Perfect? Nothings perfect.... It was odd seeing Armand blink like he did...it reminded him of an owl.==== Following her out of the store and to a quieter part of town, Neruphial stayed silent. He was wondering when he was going to claim, he knew that it would probably be best to do if she was home or close to it so he didn't have to drag her home. The vampire didn't want to be thought as a kidnapper or something, jut because he didn't like attention that much.
"No but you will go to sleep after I claim you." Did I say that right? It sounded as if I was telling her that she was going to or something bad would happen...Neruphial watched her as she dropped her things on the ground then something landed on the girls foot. Her reaction to a hurt foot made the vampire laugh. He had told her that she was funny, or something along thise lines.

Mitsuki finally finished putting on his jacket, he turned around only to be hugged tightly by Nova. Nova was really being affectionate today, although he didn't mind at all. This was the first time he was like some sort of affection towards him. He sighed and hugged the other close, he felt like he was the happiest person on the planet. He had someone to come home to ever day after school. He had someone to care for now and agaon. Then the most important one, is some one that needed him...that was always there for him. He hugged tighter and never wanting to let go of Nova. The vampire really changed him and his life for good. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the closeness for a little bit longer.

Nova giggled and started to walk out the door after opening it with Mitsuki still hugging him. He was dragging the human along. Of course he enjoyed being hugged, but he wanted to go and play! The vampire wanted to run around. He wanted to see the children of the world Mitsuki was born into. They were probably not nearly as nice as the children from a hundred years ago. Oh well. All he wanted to know was if they still had good imaginations. He looked back at Mitsuki when he got to the sidewalk and grinned. "Aww... Mitsuki hugged me back," he said with a chuckle at the end. He liked it. He started walking off again, pointing his finger to the sky. "Okay, okay! I wanna play~!" he exclaimed.

Mitsuki finally lets go and follows Nova, he suddenly sighed. He didn't like being around with other people. However, he did say he would take Nova to the park and he always keeps his promises. He walked until he heard children laughing. He walked over to a park bench and sat down. He watched the little kids play on the swings or do down the slide or playing duck, duck, goose.

Nova ran out to join the kids. Their parents were cautious about him playing with them until they saw that he really was not going to do anything. There was nothing creepy or anything about Nova. He was like a child himself. A very flirtatious child when it came to people he liked, like Mitsuki. The kids were tugging at his arms as he walked around the playground with them. He pointed to the slide, and they all ran over to it. The vampire ran over to Mitsuki and sat on the bench with him. He poked Mitsuki in the sides a couple times before pointing to the kids who were yelling at him for being slow. "C'mon Mitsuki. You said you were going to play too," he said.

Mitsuki made a face and sighed, he really thought he could get away with it. He stood up and followed Nova to play with the kids. Teens looked at him funny as he walked over to play. However, a few all school girls students giggled and watched him from afar. He rolled his eyes when he caught one or two of their comments. "Look, does he look cute playing with the kids?" "Maybe he wants to be a father figure." "How honorable and responsible..." Mitsuki grumbled at the comments and looked at Nova, "This is embarassing..." he murmured.

Nova looked around at the people and grinned. "Oh, come on. You told me to ignore a person's comments while we were in school, right? Just ignore them," he said and picked up a little girl with ribbons in her hair. He ran around the slide a few times and watched the kids go down the slide. Glancing at Mitsuki, he made a huffing sigh sound and looked away. If Mitsuki was not going to take his own advice, then Nova would enjoy the day himself with the kids. He thought the idea of watching them all grow up would be fun, and he was capable of seeing even their children grow up. Nova set the girl down and ran over to a tree, hiding behind it and popping out on the other side when the kids wondered where he went. They liked how fast he was, something no human could ever reach. He bowed to them and then looked at Mitsuki again. He wished the the other would forget the people around them and just play. Sighing, the vampire turned his attention back to the children and continued on.

Mitsuki just watched Nova play with the others. He didn't have that energy that little kids do. He had lost that long ago as he grew up, he looked down when he felt his slevee been pulled. It was a little blonde girl with pigtails. He looked at her curiously, "Yes?" She smiled and asked, "Why aren't you playing with your friend?" He sighed and patted her head, "Because I don't want to play." She looked at him cutely.
"Why?" she asked once again. Mitsuki sighed and tried to explain the the girl, "Because I'm too old."
"Why?"
"Because I can't do stuff like that."
"Why?"
"It's not mature to do that.."
"Why?"
"Because!"
"why?"
"Because I said so!"
"Why?"
Mitsuki began to shake in irritated by the young girl, but calmed himself down. "Look...maybe you should go play with the--" He stopped when a kid kicked the soccer ball to hard and came towards the little girl. He stood in the way and lets the ball bounce ard on his chest and fall, where he bounced the ball repeatly over and over again with his foot with out it touching the ground. The girl's eyes widen, "WOW! You're good mister!"

((Juggling a soccer ball like that is hard... And I hate those "why" questions XD)) Nova heard everything that was going on between Mitsuki and the little girl. So, what Nova was doing was immature in the human's eyes? He sighed and stood up straight, his body like a wooden plank. The little kids stopped playing and looked at the vampire in confusion. It was something they were not expecting, and it truly dumbfounded them all. Nova went over and sat on the bench, laying down and looking up at the sky. He did not even care to glance over when Mitsuki was juggling the soccer ball so well. He wanted to see what the human would do and if he would actually play with the kids.

Mitsuki finished with the ball and caught it with his hands. He turned and noticed Nova had stopped playing with the kids. He hands the ball back and was about to walk back, when the little girl pulled away in a different direction. "Come play with us! You are so cool and can bounce a ball!" Mitsuki tried to protest, but was dragged along. The children tighten a cloth over his eyes and giggled, "Okay, it's marko polo! try and get us!" He sighed and called out, "Marko....." All the kids yelled out "Polo!"

Nova glanced over at the group and grinned slightly. He sat up and ran a hand through his hair and let out a sigh. As long as Mitsuki played at least a little. That was really all Nova wanted. And as for those other people. Well, spending time with children and helping them play and learn and socialize with people was the best thing to do. Of course, that was what his father always told him. That was why he was shown around and met a lot of children as he grew up. That was why he was rather good with people. The vampire sat there and watched everyone play with a calm and peaceful look on his face. "Heh... Play Mitsuki, play!"

And owls were usually bad omens.
"Others will see that she isn't claimed. It's around that time when most of my kind are turning one hundred and fifty, around 17 or 18 in human appearance. They'll want her, and if he doesn't make do with what little time he has, if could get interesting." Armand tilted his head to the side, watching Icarus in a daze. He nodded slightly at the question he thought he saw in Icarus' eyes but looked over to the street. "We can walk out there if you'd like. I have no real objections with that, except for the sun." He turned his back to the wall, willing to either walk or lean against the cool stone. After all, it was a tolerable alley, not that dank or deary. A pile of soaked cardboard boxes slumped against the back wall. His eyes returned to the blonde boy, tracing his features then his neck, shoulders and arms with his stare. He smirked lightly. Nice shirt. . .
::::::
Amerlie returned Neruphial's laugh with a puffy-cheked pout and silence. She set up her stand with a rectangluar white sign on the ground next to it, advertizing that she drew for a fee, then stole a glance at the vampire. She looked back down at her paints in hand before shrugging. "You! You'll be my art subject. Stay still." But those words were taboo for her, so she wondered exactly how long the vampire would stay in one place. If she was lucky, three minutes. If not, just one. She just needed an outline at the least anyhow.
