smash sat next to her and turned on the tv. raine put all the dishes in the dishwasher then turned to him. "and.. thats my family."

He laughed and crossed his arms, looking down at her a bit. "Your mother is lovely. Dad wasn't as bad as you said. Cyan was... Interesting? And Garreth was cool. I'm sorry if I offended him or you by the comment I made. I just let my curiousity get to me." He reached his hand behind his head and scratched it a bit. He still felt somewhat bad about that.

she smiled a bit as she looked at him. "don't worry about it. i'd be more surprised if you sat there then entire time and not said anything."

He smiled and continued to talk to her. "You need to meet my parents if they're not busy sometime. They're really nice. Unfortunately, I don't have any siblings so dinner might not be as interesting there as it was here."
Mari leaned over against him and smiled. "He's a nice kid. I like him." She looked up at him and kissed him on the cheek.

she laughed a bit and nodded. "yea i suppose so. my family can be a bit crazy somtimes."
he smiled a bit as he sat there. "yea. he's alright. could have been worse i guess."

He smiled and enjoyed her company. "I suppose you can't go out because of me getting you in trouble. Which I'm still very sorry about that. I hope you won't beat me up and take my lunch money." He laughed and crossed his arms.
She pulled on a piece of his hair and smiled at him. "And you thought you would have to kill him. You're too protective of her when it comes to boys."

she pointed at him and had a small grin on her face. "i'm not promising you anything. at the very least i won't take you money." she rubbed her head and thought about it. "well.. i could go out maybe. what did you wanna do?"
he smiled back and looked at her. "can you blame me? the world is full of idoit guys out there."

"I don't even know. I didn't think of anything because I figured you wouldn't be allowed out." He laughed and scratched the back of his head.
"I suppose. At least I took one of them off the market." She grinned and wondered if he would pick up on the joke right away or if it would take him a few seconds.

Mari layed back and rested her feet on his lap. "You still love me, dear."

he rubbed her legs and leaned back. "yea i know."

James only let out another laugh and smiled at her. "Believe me, it's hard for me to get carried away. Though, you are cute and that's what makes me forget that you're something to be reckoned with." He looked her in the eyes to show that he was being sincere and not just toying with her.

"I'll be sure to do that." He smiled and looked towards the entrance to the living room. He then lifted his arm up and pulled back his shirt sleeve to check the time. It wasn't that late, so he wasn't too worried. "Did you get that homework finished for class?"
