Now your just being hung up on technical stuff. The point of the sages was to get people to focus on one element and finding ways to utilize them to the best possible abilities. To many times I've seen people just sit back with a swish army knife of jutsu from 2-3 elements and be able to stop anything. They would use doton for pure defense. Raiton or Katon for pure attack, and so on. No one would even try using katon for defense or anything. Also with so many elements everyone had a jutsu to get out of everything without even trying or thinking. This on top of styles, bloodline, clans, demons, and angels. Their is really no time people had to think since they just always had an easy out. Sages were suppose to limit people in order to think about how to approach different people. I mean the Katon Sage pretty much would have to fight differently against everyone being they might have futon or suton or even katon. But at the same time for their limit they needed some reward which was a simple +1 rank in damage. Some how this has turned into a huge thing where people want them gone without even knowing why they are there.

Two hits to the nuts and 2 to the head in team hand ball today. the headshots hurt more T.T
But by god i blocked those shots. the other team better win the school tournament.

It would be NICE to be warned when people think your too inactive to Keep your Angel sad i've had Inzanagi for almost 7 months now.)

The problem with that would've been that you would've returned for a little while and vanished again...and the hosts need to be rather, very, active. XD Had we given you a warning, you would've forcibly come back to keep your angel instead of willingly coming back and being active, basically.
