Kazuhiko watched the needle warily, definitely skeptical. "Steel or iron-derived metal?" he asked unsteadily, glancing to the scientists. "You know I can't have that, right...?"
"Daijoubu." Yuki soothed. "Watari-san has special needles he keeps on reserve for you and your Okaasan's family now. The only thing is that they're a little bit brittle.. so you need to be careful and stay as still as possible, alright?"
Kazuhiko nodded, holding out his arm as Yuki prepped him, swabbing the skin with an alcohol wipe.
"Ready Watari-ku--san, -san..." she shook her head.
Kazuhiko grinned. "You two better not get too distracted." he teased.

Shiori smiled softly. "Nothing, nothing. I just meant I still feel a bit weak." she answered. "Unless I have a few other diseases or viruses I don't know about, this is the only ailment I have, really..."

Kazuhiko shook his head. "Not as bad as Mum hurts sometimes." he decided after a while. "That wasn't bad at all. Why is Kaze-lady afraid of them?"

Shiori stuck out her tongue. "You carry enough on your shoulders. Besides. I'm fat, remember?"
She shoved him playfully, grinning. "Your arms would break. I felt you trembling last time. You're too weak Ojisan."

"I doubt it. I think she's just scared of sharp stuff..." Kazuhiko mused. "We should ask her."

Shiori stuck out her tongue. "Well, if you say so. You're pretty fat yourself. Fat! Fat fat fat!" she went to grab his stomach.
Unfortunately, there wasn't much to grab, causing her to flush in embarrassment.
"Still fat." she muttered. "You should work out more often Aled-kun, before people think you're a fat old man instead of a king."

Kazuhiko grinned. "I think she said something about them time before going back to the base." he giggled. "What does that mean?"
Yuki blushed deeply. "Yare yare..."

Shiori grinned also, smiling secretly. "Wouldn't do at all." she agreed. "Would be a tragedy really."
Wait a sec, was she flirting with him now?
Talk about switch hitting...

Kazuhiko tilted his head. "I'm gonna go visit them."
"Iie!" Yuki caught his arm just seconds before he teleported, shaking her head. "They need time alone, Kazu-kun."
Suddenly the boy's eyes widened. "OHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......So... does that means... I'm gonna get a new friend to play with aren't I?!!" he gushed excitedly. "NEEAT!!!"

Shiori blushed a bit; he had a charming smile. "Fighting spirit, hmm? I always thought it was because of your hair..." she murmured, reaching up to stroke a lock with her thumb. "What about you, what do you have that takes some igniting?"
She left herself open; she meant it in the most innocent way possible.
It was too good of an opportunity to miss; like Kazuhiko had told him, catch her off guard. That was the best approach.

Kazuhiko nodded. "Ok!" he giggled, watching them curiously. "So who should I go see? I bet Otousan and Ashuri-chan and the others will wanna come back..."
He reopened the portal, peering in at them, and utterly beaming at Bright Eyes. "Hiya!"

Shiori was caught a bit offguard at the gesture, blushing deeply.
She was actually quiet for a long time, although she didn't do anything to resist him.
Shiori was shy! This was a swift change from the from the sharp-tongued, standoffish woman he'd met.
She glanced up at him from the corner of her eye, biting her lip as she smiled. "It's just a genetic defect. Maybe...that's why, you're a bit slow, hmn??"
Her train of thought was slipping; he was distractive.
At least he hadn't derailed her completely.

Shiori went to say something but couldn't think of a single thing to say.
He had unnerved her so completely that before that she couldn't think up of a new insult to throw at him. Sure, his insult was overused, but it was a sensitive topic for women. It was the verbal form of hitting below the belt.
She looked to the floor, her cheeks starkly red for as pale as she usually was. "Watashi wa omokunai." she squeaked, suddenly feeling very uncomfortable.
s**t. What could she bring up against him to defuse this?
Insult his manhood?
No, he might take that as an invitation.
Call him flabb-no, already did that.
Old-noo.. did that a few times...
Feminine! No, called him that already too.

Slow didn't work.
Weak didn't work.
Insult him as a parent?
Eh.... debatable, but that probably went a little too far. Besides, in truth he had always loved his son. She couldn't say that in good honesty.
She bit her lip, holding her chin with her free hand. "s**t..."
Twisted? No. He would just laugh at her, that was weak.

She couldn't remember---no, wait, she did.
The silence dragged on as she tried to gain her footing, but to no avail.
"Baka!" she closed her eyes, blushing deeper. "Baka baka bakabakabakabakabakaaa!"
What was a weakness she could actually pry on?
Ex wife perhaps?
That was just asking for trouble, besides, she didn't have much to boast of when it came to romance obviously.
"Slut!" she shouted suddenly, brightening.
Well, it was just asking for trouble, but she could cite purity.
The fact it had taken her this long to use an insult she had already unleashed on the Ou was quite revealing.
He was making progress.

Kazuhiko nodded. "Alright, but hurry up pleeeaase."
