Luana finished filling her bag and turned around again, looking a bit confused herself.
"Oh, right! You don't know." She shifted the bag so that it was over one shoulder. "Cora is helping me build a water clock."

A water clock? *Maggie echoes, and then remembers* Oh, I recall ye talking about something like that when Luke was here before. Ye're trying te find a way te keep track of time within this place, are ye not?

But why go to the trouble of making it? Why don't you just ask Tavin to conjure one?

Luana's brilliant smile flickered for a moment. I'm not asking Tavin for anything.
"I think I'd rather just do it myself, thanks. Besides, I've only ever seen him that one time..." It was the last time she had seen Bard as well.

Lu considered it for a moment. Glancing down, she could see that X-12 was still shut down, and they would need a way to make sure the drip rate was correct. But, to actually use one of those demon-taught powers?
Just this once.
"Well, could you bring in an hour glass that actually counts an hour?" she asked. "We'll need that to time the rotation and make sure the clock is working properly."

*Maggie nods slowly* Aye, I think I could manage that. *She takes a breath and then closes her eyes, her brow creasing in concentration*
*After a brief moment, she holds up her hands to grasp a plain wood-and-glass hourglass as it flickers into existence between them. Feeling it there, she opens her eyes again, and then offers it out to Luana with a smile* Here ye are, now.

Lu took the hourglass with her free hand and examined it. She looked up at Maggie, amazed. "Wow. Hey, um, thanks."
She came back around the bar. "Well, I guess I should get back to work."
