I daresay it must have been. For a while it seemed as though the Brink was quite determined te keep it. I am glad ye managed te get it back, though, *she adds, knowing how fond he is of it*

*Maggie reddens slightly* Ah, well . . .. mostly I try te find simple things te practice with, folk stories and the like. 'Tis getting easier, though, and I hope I ... *she trails off, then asks, almost a little shyly* That is . . do ye think I may be able te try reading one of yer books, soon?

It might be difficult... *Bard chews his lip* Many of my books are set in my time. There are things you wouldn't understand... but ... there is one book....

She was half way to the bar before she noticed anyone else was there. "Oh! Hi, Maggie. Hi, um, Bard."

Luana smiled back. She was shaking a little with excitement, and spoke rather quickly. "I'm fine! Just getting more wax."
She went behind the bar started loading wax-sealed bottles into the pillowcase. "How are you two? Can I get you anything while I'm back here?"
