The preacher droned on and on, and they had to kneel on the hard floor, holding the heavy candle above their heads. And if they drop the thing, the whole church goes up in flames. They're some truly worthy unsung heroes.

Comrade Clara Are you the person who carries the giant candle? I always felt sorry for those people. The preacher droned on and on, and they had to kneel on the hard floor, holding the heavy candle above their heads. And if they drop the thing, the whole church goes up in flames. They're some truly worthy unsung heroes.
The Easter Vigil mass was pure torture. We had to stand up while the deacon droned on with his song. It was hot.
