Yup, this was not going to be easy. She studied her hands for a moment, watched Arthur for a bit longer, anything to keep from looking at Zykariel. "Clerical magic wasn't the only thing I was considering. He needs to know more weapons than just swordplay. But I'll certainly oblige you with clerical magic." Her mind drifted briefly to the fight they'd engaged in all that time ago. Had it really been over a year ago? "Well...I was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to start them back up. After all, I'm not really nursing him anymore and I have more time...if that's what you want? I could always use more teaching."

Now Fianna had hold of her grandson, who was oh so intruged looking at his grandmother. After all, Fianna though she would be quite fascinating to the child. Sure, he was used to the pale skin of a surface elf but not her dark hair or single brightly colored eyes. Thus she was getting those cute yet lazy newborn looks as he sucked his thumb. "Are you sure you don't need another day in bed?"
Piper? In the closet, pulling out clothes to change into. Okay so the plus, she could wear pants again, though her tops were still going to be out of her normal style. Hey had to make it easy on herself to nurse the child whose schedule she no doubt would be living on...since she more or less was already. Thusly coming out dressed, running her fingers through mid back length hair. "Mother, I'll be fine. You know I'm made of tougher stuff than that."
A chuckle and a shake of his head. "No, but I do recall hearing about some supposed thing between you and Fianna. I wish you luck with getting her to agree to that. Though do yourself a favor, and put about five to ten years between them. Surface elves aren't made for labor as you well know now." Though yes another laugh as he raised a hand to brush loose blue strands from his face. "And no worries about that Malik...I was more or less guessing you were going to go haywire. The response is more common than you might think.
Then a blink before a pleased smile as he was handed over the book. Oh look, Malik had thrown the inquisitve creature a grand treat. "Something else to fill my head with and slack off from work with. How lovely." Taking a moment to flip through a few pages before resting it on his lap and turning his attention to Malik again. "Hard to think sometimes, that so little time has passed here and so much has passed in Andal." Talk about getting time lag.
"Well if it's more than magic, that's dipping into Malik's time," which brought a smirking chuckle from him, "which he has been taking oh so much advantage of these days. So you'd have to clear that with him, not me." Another moment of watching Arthur, his other hand making sure little hands didn't pull at a furry tail to hard, or braided hair for that matter.
Another look to her. "It's not about what I want. They're your lessons, if you want to continue in them then I'll keep teaching you in them won't I? Simple as that, no more and no less."

She just chuckled, "I highly doubt I'll have to worry too much about that. Malik's been taking more advantage of it with Arthur to get rid of the tension. Now that Piper had her baby and both are fine, he'll most likely spend far more time with her and Malikhai, not to mention Piper's parents." Such a happy little family weren't they? Kind of made one think about the differences and how the three in the arena, excluding Arthur of course, weren't a family. Maybe Sevilin and Zykariel could be classified in such a way and that was the way it was supposed to be. Not her though. It just wasn't that way between them. But she really didn't want to think about that. "Alright, time to start them back up then." She was quiet for a moment and then followed it up with, "I think it's time for me to move back." She'd mentioned it before or alluded to it but never actually said it.

Sevilin merely shrugged to the mention of how things would change with Malik. He wouldn't know anything about that really, but Malik was a creature of habit as well. Then again he did tend to indulge in Piper when she needed it and well now he had a child to indulge as well. "Maybe."
For a moment rubbing at Zykariel's back as the drow gave a little cough, before reaching over and grabbing his bottle, giving him that to suck on. Little guy had a tendency to try to fast sometimes. But his eyes moved back to to Zahara's at her final statement, and he took a moment to process a response. "If you feel ready to...then I guess it's time."
Fight it? Why? That was a useless endeavour. Once the woman made her mind up there was no changing it, and he wasn't going to have his son become her obligation. "Be just like old times, walking across the underdark, dark and early in the morning, and dragging you out by your ankles."

"I have her down in my basement area, I think she's coming along nicely. probably about ready to start laying eggs. Though I will take the advice to heart. I don't want to overburden her."
A slight grin.
"Indeed. Time flies here literally compared to there. I read the reports you sent as well. I think you could handle a little strong arming of the new Arch ruler. he coudl use a little hot foot under pressure."
A slight grin.
"He's not dead, so arthur should be just fine. if he nearly dies, then I'll lighten up on him."
A glance upward.
"though it seems Piper is moving about. Hoepfully she's feeling much better."

At the sound of that cough her instincts went into play and she caught herself before she reached for him. Not her problem, not her issue. She did watch the child out of the corner of her eye and it was on the tip of her tongue to mention that Sevilin shouldn't hold Zykariel on his lap like that while paying attention to so many other things. But she'd learned not to mention such things since Sevilin had more experience than she did with raising his little brothers. Besides, not her problem. Though she made a face. "Can't we erase that part?" She'd been enjoying her yank free mornings, the option to reverie as late as she wanted since she was often up with Zykariel. Of course now he was pretty good about revering most of the night if not all the way through. Once he was down he was set. It was just getting him down that often led to frustration.

Oh yes, Kieran was going to be ears deep in a certain book tonight, wasn't he? No doubt Fianna would be yelling at him to put it down and get to reverie, or she'd make him. And that perhaps was a frightening thought...the woman did have her ways about her after all.
Though a laugh and dismissive wave of his hand. "Glynnic is still young and learning from his mistakes. All considered I think he held his first command in Council rather well. Was a little shakey, but he did good." A nod about Arthur. "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Right?" But his attention did turn as Fianna came to more or less plop next to him. "Hark, the women have come."
"Well someone has to keep you two out of trouble."
Piper followed a few seconds later, Malikhai cradled in her arms, coming to stand next to where Malik was sitting. "Oh no, they're together again...no doubt disucssing things that would bore others." Following that with a little chuckle and shifting her weight to one side. "Hello men." Seeing as she hadn't seen the outside of her room for three days.
"Well, if you can get up when you're supposed to then I won't have to drag you now will I? Besides, you'll have a study buddy so I'm sure it won't be as boring and grueling as it used to be. Maybe I can just put you and Arthur against one another, get you both trained at the same time. You were about due for more extensive field testing anyway."
Pausing a moment then giving a sigh. "So then, when do you want to move out." Might as well make this as swift and painless as possible.

"Indeed they have. feeling any better, Piper?"
A grin up at her.
"and we weren't discussing things that bore others. In fact, we were just talking about you."
A chuckle.
"Unless you think of yourselves as boring. and how is our little one doing? not giving mom and grandma too much trouble, is he?"

"We only do it dark and early because that's what you want to do. I would be just fine waiting a good hour and a half before getting moving on my day. But I know your preference for getting moving quickly." Went along with his cleaning or so she believed. The man was almost a**l when it came to cleaning. And his favorite time to clean? Dark and early, naturally. She'd gotten up plenty of times in the past few months and caught him, shirt off, on his hands and knees scouring the same floor he'd scrubbed three other times that same week. She'd never actually mentioned it but it had drifted through her mind to hide his cleaning supplies a few times just to see how he'd react. "Hmm...later today or tomorrow?"

A look down at him with a soft smile. "Much...but you know I never let anything keep me down for two long, or I at least try not to." Though a raise of an eyebrow and a little smirk. "Oh you were were you? But no, I'm nowhere near borning...if I was well we'd be sitting around all day. Admit it, I'm the spice in your life." Giving a little chuckle and then shifting her hold on thier baby to more or less hand him to Malik to hold. See? She could share. "No trouble at all, and doing just grand. Then again I suppose if you had someone waiting on you hand and foot all day, you'd be doing grand as well."
Another chuckle from Kieran and then a raised eyebrow as Fianna was messing with his hair. She was doing it again. "I told you, I'll cut it when I get around to it." Shaking his head to get her hands off his hair before he put an arm around her and merely took to relaxng again. Yes, vacation time good.
"I didn't say anything." Giving a smirk though, because she was thinking it. But her look turned over to Malik. "The only trouble he could cause would be being overly cute. Though he's still trying to adjust to me. Quite the funny little thought." Funny indeed, seeing as they were in the underdark which was well dark, but Fianna was the odd one out. Not that she minded, Malikhai would get used to her in time.
"It's logical to do it dark and early. You get it done and over with and then you have your whole day ahead of you to do with whatever you please. I don't see the negative in that. And if you get your reverie like you're supposed to then you shouldn't have trouble at all." Giving a little shrug and then raising an eyebrow. "That quick huh? Very well, you can just stay here then...when I go back tonight, I'll pack it all up and translocate it all back here to make things easier."

The assumption that could easily by taken from that was that teaching them was negative to him and he wanted to get it done and finished as soon as he could. She wasn't going to say anything close to those lines since there was no reason to. "I guess that makes sense. I still like to get as much reverie as possible." Perfect. He'd be ready to get everything back to her room. "I'd appreciate that." Her attention went to Zykariel briefly. "Should he really be down here?"

He merely gave a noise of affirmation to it all before his attention too turned to Zykariel. "Where else would I put him? Or rather I suppose that question should be with whom. It's not like it's any danger to him anyway, and it's all flashy lights that amuse." Running a hand over the child's rather unruly hair that liked to stick up. "Besides...it's going to help him in the long run when his starts delveoping his own...he'll know what it is at least." Yes it was no secret that little Zykariel was going to have quite the magic source about himself, what with both parents being a high ranking mage and cleric.

Well it had been a very eventful six months since the time of his well bump in the road sort of, but Arthur didn't care too much about what happened anymore he still hates Malik deeply for what he did but the images and the feeling went away over time. So now he had been trained like hell because Malik of course had to release some of the emotional ties he had because of the condition his wife Piper was in so the young elf suffered under some strict training. As for Piper ever since they had that little conversation some improvement was made, they had lightly talked once in awhile but it was alright they were okay but no big strides in their own relationship hasn't changed much.
But the time came when Piper finally had her baby boy, for the past two to three days Arthur never did much with Malik since he was worried about his own child coming into the world. So that left him time to train with Sevilin and right now Arthur was doing pretty well with elemental magic, he had gotten a lot use to it and was getting pretty good at manipulating the elements now; he could even practice with out having to worry about something blowing up in his face by mistake. But right now both him and Sevilin, who sat along the side lines, were in the arena and Arthur was busy training to fix his technique. They set up some 'targets' for Arthur to try his hand at which were pieces of wood he needed to ut or destroy with just his magic, but he had to be clean about it he couldn't just use a fireball and strike it in half.
So with the first pieces of wood they had set up Arthur took out his katana and just hanged it loosely by his side, he knew what he was doing so he didn't have to worry about nothing, so in a blink of an eye Arthur just did a few quickly lazy slashes in the air towards his targets and then with a light snap a piece of wood fell off and to the ground. With a light shrug Arthur let his katana by his side and closed his eye to concentrate, then a couple of clouds appeared over the pieces of wood and then a bolt of lightning leaped down and struck the woods with a light zap, what Arthur planned on was to not snap the wood but to set it on fire, and that's what happened. Small flames grew and then swept across the top of the wood with light crackles coming from the flame. With a wave of his hand Arthur withdrew the flames into his palm and focused until the fire was snuffed out like it was nothing. "Basic..." He whispered and slowly sat down and closed his eye, he was planing on shifting the earth around him so he had to focus hard on this one.

Malik took his son, with some ease...hey, learning how from bonding was nice. less chance of dropping him. so he idly cradled and let his fingers play with his son.
"Okay, you're not boring, hence the point that we weren't talking about anything boring since we were talking about you. And I do have people to wait on me hand and foot."
A slight chuckle and a look over to the other two.
"He's that cute becuase he looks like me."

Her attention gravitated briefly to the going ons of the arena and she nodded. "Improving by leaps and bounds. Let's just see how good he is when he takes me on." A side glance to Sevilin before she smirked. "Field testing sounds good to me right about now. But your lessons were never boring. Runes fascinated me in the beginning and now they still hold my interest though not to the point that they will always have yours." She was fond of thinking about it that he was in love with his runes. It worked in her mind even though love was a four letter word. She'd seen it displayed enough times and the analogy worked well for his situation. Then a small chuckle. "I remember when I first discovered my magical ability. It was fun making the sparks...until I almost burned a few things down...including my sister."
