Sil wouldn't have to wait for the thing to get bored, because Kyle immediately dropped his bat and grabbed for the zombie's arms, putting them behind its back and holding on tight as it thrashed around. "Are you alright?!" he managed to get out, feeling sick the instant he realized the thing he was holding was headless. Once his attention was diverted, the zombie shoved him over, landing on top of him and smearing all of its blood and organs on his shirt while it tried to dig its nails into his skin. "Urg... Damn it!" He kept a tight hold on the writhing things arms, paling and gagging when he felt chunks of wet, slimy organs drop onto his clothes.

Ending up at the bottom of the stairs with a knife in her hand, Kiah had forgotten what exactly she'd gone down there to do. She was sitting on a step trying to remember when she heard a hiss to her left, causing her to jump and whip her head in that direction. Snickering a bit at the head trying to unsuccessfully move toward her, she stumbled over and crouched just out of reach. "Awwww, wha'sa matter? Tryin' to get somewhere?" she asked, smiling brightly at the thing. Soon losing her balance, she held out the knife and accidentally stabbed it through the eye, effectively cutting off all sounds. "Ewwwwwww!!! It's on meeeeee!!!"

When the head was destroyed, the body went limp, all movement ceasing and simply lying on top of Kyle, who was too afraid to move the thing off of himself in case it was simply playing dead. "Is... it over?"

The lifeless doll act hadn't helped her much, but Kyle responded in good form, releasing her from the zombie's grip. She sprung back to life once freedom was her own looking in utter disarray. Her clothing was shredded, her skin smeared with blood and God knows what else, and as she wiped her forehead in relief she just smudged some of the blood. "I'm okay," Sil breathed, glancing around rapidly as the zombie fell limp, her eyes falling onto Kiah and the knife sticking out of Kiya's severed head.

"... Did... Did Kiah just kill it?" Her voice was dumbfounded, mouth opening in an expression of utter disbelief. On the same track as Kyle, Sil slipped a boot beneath it's torso and kicked the body over in a roll to see if it would move, releasing Kyle from her fearsome weight. "Maybe we should burn it, to be safe.. or bury it upside down in a salt circle... or bomb it. One of those," she shuddered in repulsion, her stark white hair a mess where the zombie had pulled it out of her ponytail. Despite that she still had beef with Kyle, she offered the man a bloody hand to help him off of the floor.
