*About an hour later, standing at what Lucifer said was the edge of the pyramid.* "Alright Eclipse, lift it out of the sands." "Alright... Here goes nothing." *Eclipse stepped forward so that he was next to Lucifer, and made a few small hand gestures. An earthquake began, and the pyramid began to rise, the sand around it shifting out of the way.*

*When Eclipse finished raising it, he was panting hard. The pyramid stood about a mile and a half tall, flat on all four of it's sides, with a hole big enough to fit a mid-sized dragon at the base.* "Well, shall we enter?" "I think we shall. But I warn you Eclipse, the reason it's so difficult here is because there are a few other dracomorphs still in existence, and the one here has had his mind twisted. He no longer knows who he is or who he was. Ending it would be a blessing for him." "There's a dracomorph here?" "Yes, but remember, he is no longer as great as he was. He is a shell of a being, acting on instinct more than any kind of thought." "If this is true, and I will find out, then I shall do what I must."

"Teldra?" *Teldra jumped up and landed in his hand, in the form of a nine foot long broadsword. Vlad grabbed a five foot long shamshir out of the air. Aganth drew Blackwand from the jewel encrusted sheath at his side. Lucifer had a similar thing to Caitiff happen, but he had the Devil's Trident appear in his hand.* "What else is in there?" "Hundreds of beasts, each one stronger than the last. I created this dungeon of hell as a test for a hero. The dracomorph wasn't in there then. The hero failed so quickly, I realized I had overdone it. The beasts here are unlike any you've seen before, and don't even think about light. Rely on instinct. With light will only come the corruption of your soul. Like I said. I made this place far too powerful, and I've been waiting for someone strong enough to get rid of it." "I'll do what I can, then."

"Reki, if you don't want to come in, you can stay out here." "You said you were good at healing magic, right? It hurts these beasts. Only two things hurt them. Healing magic and brute force. But don't have any glowing orbs of energy or any other sort. That means light, and remember what I said before about light."

"Right... Let's head in." *And Eclipse, Vlad, Aganth, and Lucifer began to walk into the dark of the pyramid.*

*Eclipse makes a set of magic night-vision goggles out of thin air.* "Reki, put these on. With them, you should be able to at least partially make things out. But when the battle starts, they'll be next to useless. They can't process fast enough to be part of a battle unless it's all mortal humans. But don't worry, I'll protect you if you need it." *Eclipse, feeling a presence approaching, turns into his hybrid human-dragon form.* "Watch out... something's coming."

*A creepy, three legged, three armed creature crawled out of the dark. It was about eight feet tall. It was brown, with ragged spikes all over it. It had no eyes, and indents on the side of its head for its ears. It's mouth was curled into a gruesome smile, and you could feel the evil emanating from it. Behind it there were sixteen slightly smaller ones. The main one roared and charged.* "... Let the battle begin." *And Eclipse disappeared. Three of the beasts fell instantly, including the leader, their heads rolling away. Vlad stabbed another one in the neck, and Aganth created a void beneath another, dropping into another reality. Lucifer stabbed another through its back.*
