Hey Sryne. If I have the paid version of ZoneAlarm and the susbscription has expired, do I have to uninstall it in order to get the free version so that I can keep it up to date without having to pay $30 a year?

I'm not entirely sure. I don't think you'd have to, it would just "turn off" some of the paid features on your next update I think. confused I don't know for fact though as I've never had the paid version.

I tried that and when I went to update, it said my subscription had expired and I need to renew it in order to update it. So it sounds like you can't switch from paid to free while the prgram is on your comp. cry

Yeah. It sounds like uninstalling and reinstalling the free version may be your only option.
