Trojans work just fine. Not really harmful, but they're nearly untrackable by firewalls or counter viruses. Though, like anything small and weak, if you get...oh say 323 of them, like the exact same number that was on my computer three hours ago, then they tend to really do some damage. Now what if I added a few zero's after that number and infected your citadel over a long period of time? You'd actually have to go through and locate the corrupted files through an outside link, because if you get 323,000 of those things in one spot then there's no way you could access the files or documents without corrupting your entire main frame. That's just an idea, like I said though I don't know what kinda firewalls you're using...

I'm not talking about infecting Zio, I'm talking about your mecha soldiers. You said they can work independantly, but still remain hooked up to Zio's data base? That means they're remotes, those are easier to infect because the host, or the main computer, isn't watching them 24/7. While as if they were linked dirrectly to the host all the time it would make it a lot more difficult to infect, but it would also confuse the computer if you had a large scale assault because the main computer has to control all the mecha soldiers.

If you wanted to infect the mecha you'd have to do it individually >> They aren't a web, they each connect to Zio individually. And if Zio did find that one of them was infected it would be shut down, wiped clean, reprogrammed, and reactivated >> Zio has a back up of all the programmings so the reinstall is easy. There status is reported to Zio at all times though >> Mastema is also helping Zio maintain itself. That thing has one hell of a good processor xp Intel pentium 10 *snort* j/k. Anywho, try what ya like we'll see how it goes ^^
