Wow Gunny, you have way more snow than I do here in Montana. Not that I'm complaining, I prefer dry roads. All these damn Californians who keep moving to our state have no concept of how to drive in snow.
That's surprising, I thought Montana was one of those states that gets a**-raped by snow every winter!
xd There are 3 types of people who drive in the snow around here;
- Sane people, who understand how to safely operate their vehicle in inclimate weather - they number about 5%
- Insane people, who think that just because they've lived in New England their entires lives and they own a truck, it's ok for them to drive 20 miles OVER the speed limit while passing every other vehicle on the road, no matter what the weather - they number about 65%
- Little old french-canadian ladies who try to drive to their hairdresser appointments even though there's a snow emergency in effect, and they end up crashing into every snowbank, mailbox, parked car, and sign post along the way, then when they finally fish tail off the road and into a ditch they get mad at you and tell you that you were tail-gating them even though you were about 5 car lengths behind them... then they make you get their car unstuck for them, since it was "obviously" your fault...
stare - they total 30%
