She spots Neko coming into the shop. "Oh hi Neko. Bacardii is one of my oldest friends. I knew her ever since my youth in barton town." She lets out a sigh filled with happy memories of teh days of learning how to hustle a little cash for some money. Bacardii took her to a district with charities for young and poor gaians.

"Did you know some of our ladies in the town are preparing a big ball? You could consider going. What do you think we could do to make this town fantastic? I think we should see about having a school built here."

Grace comes back to the coffee shop. She meant to only be here a moment. She wanted to borrow some of the sweet tea from earlier to take to the gardens at the estate when she saw her good friend Akai.

"Oh hi there, Akai. How are things? One of my daughters got together with some people we know and are planning a ball of some sort. I think you should come too. I don't have a formal dress anymore though come to think of it. I sold it to someone earlier this year just after easter..." Grace thought for a moment. She wasn't sure what she might wear to a ball.

She nods. Then, she continues into the kitchen for the sweet tea. She also gets a stack of rice krispie treats and some other things. She kept thinking about the research she was working on earlier in the day. But, she felt like she should put krystal and brezzie before her own selfish quest for a truth that might not even be.

~I wonder when we'll see him again~ she thought to herself.

Grace looks out her out fo teh corner of her eye. She makes this playful glare, not a mean one nor a meaningful one... but, she made more of what was like a .. "grr... i hate how she manages to always do that right before you want her to tell you something she wants to keep secret.. I'll catch her one of these days" kind of things. Still, Grace trusted Akai because if anyone were capable of uncovering such a legendary mystical egg. It was Akai. She was a student and scholar of mystical things. Much of it Grace had no idea about as she herself were more inclined to holy and things related to the Lord she chose to follow in her own life.. but still.... She had a great deal fo respect for Akai and how much her friend knew. She had full confidence that in the end, Akai would come through, and none would be the lesser for the wait. She knew Akai had the ability to come through in ways noone had anticipated. She was thankful for this.

~I will have to get her some special sushi as a thanks for this when she finally uncovers that egg~

Grace was just about to leave the coffee shop with her baskets and trays full of stuff to take back to the gardens, when she saw the young Mr. Kaze sitting there.

"Oh, I am so sorry that I missed you coming in. Could I get you something? Oh, and we don't charge for our food and drinks here. We only ask that people tip their servers generously as this is a community oriented coffee stop. She went over to the kitchen and got him a cup and poured some of the fresh columbian coffee in it. When she set it down in front of him, she also set down a small dish holding creams and sugar packets.

"Well, I am heading back to the mansion now, so if you need anything, you'll find me there. But um.. have you found out anything new yet? any new leads into your search? "

Hmm... I didn't know you were here, Kaze. Too bad I haven't been around Gaia much at all... I still owe people a lot, but I have no $ anymore... sweatdrop

I ought to just give her most of what I have... that might be enough to cover it...
