Eurgene Delacroix painted liberty leading the people in 1830. This french romantic painting was in relation to the current events at hand. The struggle for freadom. Modeled after a statue of Nike, god of victory, liberty leads the stereotypical student, worker and youth on, as they pass the fallen. again we see hope at the top, and the heroic n***s that have died for their porpose. Delacroix captured the energy of revoluption.
