Never heard of it until now. I couldn't find any screen shots, but the artwork made it really interesting looking. Too bad there's no easy way to convert Flash to HTML5 or whatever runs on smart phones.

It's been in partially-closed-Beta for like two or three years now. Not many ads, mostly just reviews on tech sites and word-of-mouth growth.

Honestly, it's a complex game and I doubt it would work on smart phones. They said it would take about 2 years (with the game being closed and still having a full staff) to convert it to another format, which they just don't have the option of doing.

And I don't have a smart phone, so that would still make it so I could never play again. sweatdrop

Shoveling. That's what I've done today. Shoveling and lots of it.

Totally cleared the back deck. Bought another bit of burlap to put under my pots. I spaced out that there's air under my plants that will get cold. So I put the burlap down and then the plants on top and shoveled snow on top and around. They're now nice and snug as a bug in the snow.

I also shoveled in the front to get rid of the pile that the boyfriend keeps backing into.

Recycled a bunch of stuff, gave away a bunch of stuff and stored a bunch of stuff. The house is more house like and less Box City like.

Took the cat into the vet. She might have a bladder infection. She's licked a bunch of her fur off, so I hope it's due to an infection which is a lot more straight forward and easy to solve. Also made her an appointment to get her teeth cleaned. She has a lot of tartar in the back which the vet says is probably causing her pain. crying

My eye was twitching like mad yesterday. I'm glad I have the microwave now so I can heat up my eye bag.

Today I shoveled, raked up a lot of leaves, and got rid of all the sticks and branches in my front and backyard. My house on the outside looks a lot nicer, I also cleaned up the shed and put three bikes that were outside and a grill inside so it made my backyard look less cluttered.

I then got a good workout in and cleaned the entire inside of mi casa. I rearranged some things and got rid of all the excess mail that has been building up on my parlor table for the week, then I studied pretty much for the rest of the day.

It's amazing how much better a building will look with stuff tidied up. I make sure the building I work in is always tidy otherwise it looks really bad.

I've been a slug so far this week. Haven't done anything productive at all. I hate it when I'm like this. My boyfriend said something dumb and I'm mad at him which doesn't help my mood.

Snowed a few more centimeters, so got that all shoveled. Our deck is old so it's really difficult shoveling because the shovel will get stuck on nails and uneven boards.

The snow hardly hit Massachusetts. I shoveled for only about 30 minutes, give or take. My yard is terrible, my family bought our house about a year ago and unpacking and getting set up has taken so long that I haven't really got around to yard work so i'm just starting up again.

Yesterday I cleaned my gutters and it was horrid. There is a tree next to my house and tons of branches and leaves fell into the gutters over the years and they were like solidly compacted and really hard to get out. I think a few more things around the front yard and backyard and i'll be ready to put up Christmas decorations.

Today I learned that Afghanistan was a progressive country back in the 60's and not the war torn misogynistic country it is today. That utterly blew my mind.

Completely different news: my house is utterly disgusting. I find it really hard to keep this house clean. It's not run down, but it's really dated and the layout is difficult to live in. It's just really sloppy and I'm really ashamed that it's so dirty.

Let see....what have I done recently.

1> Sat on the Gaia Login screen for about 2 mins. First minute thinking "What was my User Name again?" The second minute "Aaaand what was my password?"

2> Obtained a new Venus Flytrap from Coworker. She has been "abusing it" in her terms and has given it to me to "Save Reynaldo" and bring him back to life. So I guess I have an extra 'mouth to feed' haha -bah dum cha! boooo!!- until spring comes around. Maybe she will forget about it and I can keep him! biggrin

3>December 14 I turned 24. urgh.
4>December 14 saw and heard about the Connecticut Sandy Hook elementary school shooting (27 dead)
5>December 14 read about a knifing in a Chinese Elementary school (22 injured)

6> Cleaned my house big time.
7>Finished the last bit of my Christmas knitting.
8>Somehow managed to spend 100 dollars on random stuff in one day. That usually never happens how the hell did that happen?!

9>Try to find a non-egg base cookie icing.
10>Bought flowers for myself for my birthday. Went to the florist and they asked me so kindly "For who and what occasion" My response: "Nothing special. They're for me. It was my birthday yesterday." her response, "You're buying flowers for yourself!? Well we will pick out some nice ones!"
See my flowers
I'm and so in love with the dark red carnation. I think I'm going to try to root them.

11> did nothing today! biggrin

Today I made the potatoes for Christmas Dinner (like a boss grownup); Twice baked potato casserole. One that has cheese, and one without for the weirdos who are nervous about cheese in potato. They'll go in the oven to bake the second time on Christmas, but they're completely ready already.

Last year I was unceremoniously presented with halfed, boiled potato with my choice of gravy (which half of the family doesn't eat) or plain table salt as toppings. Urgh.
So that's what I volunteered to make this year, because I do not want to go through that again, and because I'm perfectly capable of cooking something useful.

I'm starting to worry that it might become expected of me now, but oh well.

decided to add a little glaze to the thumb prints. Now they're extra sweet.

We have a guest over and I am having a difficult time to have a sense of humour about it. It short periods, guest is fine. But after a length of time, you start to realize how classist, fatphobic, agephobic, racist and loud (talking, walking, slamming cupboards) this guest is.

My headphones have broken, so I don't have those. (I have to send them in under warranty.) I'm really thankful that my boyfriend set up my game area so I can play video games alone in the basement.

I got a cold and an ear infection. Awesome. emotion_awesome

I exchanged my bird feeder for a new one which is squirrel and jay proof - just for the little birds!

I also bought a $2 plant. It had no pot, just sitting there on the shelf in a little bit soil with its roots all out. Home now, potted and watered.

Oh what is that?
They kinda look like bay leaves.
