Meh, I'm a light Sonic fan, I only own like 1 game, and that is Sonic Heroes. The game was pretty cool in my opinion.
When I saw stuff for the Sonic and the Black Knight I was amazed that they would even consider such an idea. Nomad's right, I wouldn't picture Sonic with a sword.
Sonic is a SPEED demon (not literally a demon xd ), NOT a sword demon.It's like putting Kirby on a 3D platformer (if I'm correct, not exactly sure what I'm saying there but w/e xd ) instead of a 2d sidescroller. It's changing a lot.If I were to take a guess how Black Knight is gonna turn out, I think it's not going to turn out well. That's just a guess, I'll probably end up being wrong like I always am. xp
Putting an element that has never existed in a game prior like the sword in Sonic is NOTHING like it would be putting Kirby into a 3D platformer.
I'm still waiting for it too, god damnit. I think the Sonic games did fine and the Mario games people talk about way too much. HAL/Nintendo needs to stop being sissies and give Kirby a go there instead. He could probably have one of the most fun games of all of them.

Have you ever played Tetrisphere? 2D game originally moved to 3D. It was awesome. (It was their second try...) but it was awesome. I loved that game. If only I could find it...
I'm all for guns and motorcycles, but when you're an angsty hedgehog who can move himself faster than bullets and break his enemies with his own body, the Arms and vehicles are unnecessary.
Sonic doesn't need a sword, he cuts through things with the spikes on his head and back.
Kirby in a 3D platformer isn't such a bad idea. It could work.

I'm not really into Sonic anyways... (Guns and motercyles are still cool, I don't mind how their used.)
Let's petition against Nintendo. I love the company and all, but they're peeving me off.

I can't. They're the only ones who have remained in my good sights.
Sony Entertainment has made me mad to no end.
I never liked Microsoft. I mean Halo was nice when it started, but Microsoft butted in on Bungee's activity and we got halo 2 and 3.
From Software must have lost a bet because After Silent Line they must have forgotten how to make games.
Duke Nukem Forever... It's been ten years since it appeared at E3. TEN YEARS!
Sonic Team has been dropping let down after let down ever since the end of the genesis. (There's been a few gems but Sonic Gems Collection was NOT one of them. Hell, for a "Gems" Collection, 3 of the 7 Sonic games were the worst rated sonic in history.) They MURDERED the Phantasy Star series.
Rare made me mad with Perfect Dark Zero. The storyline bugged me like crazy. At least Joanna Dark looked human in the 64 game.

I haven't played Halo 3 yet, but Halo 2 was my favourite.
To be honnest, the only time I liked Sonic, I was a little first grader who watched the American cartoon. And I really don't think that counts. Now I have mixed feelings about the franchise. I dislike Sonic, but like him at the same time... I just wish he wasn't in Brawl.

In many regards, it's good that Sonic was actually in Brawl. Not only has his games begun to go downhill with no sense of stopping, his fanbase has also been dying off.
With that stated, it doesn't make a lot of elitist "Sonic fans" whoring the whole place up saying he's better than any of the Nintendo characters. Which I'm pretty sure would have happened had any other character (save Megaman) gotten in instead of Sonic.
Especially Geno. He's not Nintendo, he's a ******** doll that I want to burn with a thousand suns. ******** him, and ******** that game.
And truth be told, Sonic isn't even that good of a character in Brawl. He's better than Mario and Link (but who isn't?) but he pales in comparison to a lot of other characters.

Nah, they're the worst of the pit. How you handle the fights is you, not the CPUs.
CPU matches mean nothing really. It's all how the characters can be utilized by the player. And Mario and Link have the shittiest moves ever. Sonic can at least recover and has the highest jump of all the characters. Mario and Link got squat (and moves that don't really work for them. Link's boomerang, for example, is only good if you have a strategy in mind. But even then, it's predictable and easily blocked if you decide to execute such a strategy)
"You're Too Slow" is perfectly fine. You haven't heard any of the other horrendous lines that Mr. Dumbass Griffith has delivered in the other games. By god, that guy needs to be kicked in the balls and someone needs to nuke Sega of America for replacing the ******** voice cast.

But Sonic is on the lower end of the roster to be sure. Mario and Link though, they all-out suck. You try to win battles against regular human players with them.

I never mentioned a CPU once. There is almost always a human player behind my opponant, and I never lose to Sonic, Human or otherwise. (The only time I fight a CPU is when I want to take out my agression and fustrations on something. You guys can guess which character gets to feel the wrath of Nomad.)
And I also know a guy who's so good with Link, it would probably change your mind.
Kirby isn't my best character, he's my second best. But he's still my favourite by far.
And the you're too slow makes me go supersayan on my opponent. It's to get them to shut up. At least Kirby's "annoying spam taunt" is cute. Sonic's is insulting.

Other fun facts to note to the equation:
I ******** hate Twilight Princess.
I just finished Sonic 2006, one of the worst games ever made.
It was better.
I ******** hate Mario and I ******** hate anything that has to do with that epic piece of s**t that Nintendo dumbasses treat like god known as Twilight Princess.
Nothing you say will convince me. They were made with the idea of being crap. Someone to get that good has patience and is probably better at predicting opponent's moves than making Link good.
But fine, don't trust me.
Sakurai, you know, kind of ******** hates Miyamoto. But of course that would TOTALLY not mean that he'd abuse his rights as the game's director to make the two most popular creations of the dude he hates suck. I mean, if I ******** hated someone, I totally would not piss on them when they gave me a chance. Totally wouldn't.

I ment as Link being a crappy Brawl character. The brother of my best friend is so good with him, I had a whole new respect for Link. (That, and he beat the s**t out of me so hard, that I was afraid to play Smash Bros. for a while.)

Yeah, Mario is crap. I don't know anyone who likes the fat plummer who doesn't do plumming.

I also just plain refuse to think that Link is good. Especially when his clone is a crap load better.
But maybe that guy was just pissed off that he sucked so hard that he trained a lot to make him good. *Shrug*
